Damn it why the hell do they draw Starfire looking like she's enjoying being choked by Blackfire? I swear DC Comics has no respect visually for female characters.
I think that if I had the skillset, I might join them. But unfortunately, I'm not in much condition to run around and fight crime. But honestly to me it seems like more of a fantasy. This isn't the comic book universe--it's the real world. It isn't even Kick-Ass world. In the real world, things just don't work like the comic books we fantasize.
Lol I kind of like Champions Online better...of course I think Champs is directed toward more of an easy going gamer. I'm not a good gamer and I've been leveling just fine on Champs which makes me happy. BUT I mean....I do have to pay $15 for Champs and DCU would be just $5...Hrm...something I should consider then.
I like the softer tones. I mean you can explore death and what have you without getting too graphic. But then I write comics aimed for pre-teens/younger teens so I don't try to explore darker themes to begin with. So what do I know? >.>
@tonis: I showed it to my boss today and she said she wants to show it to the 6th floor (illustration department) and see if it can be used anywhere :) That'd be pretty boss if it could be! But I doubt it will since I'm just an intern and all...
