Ok, you are definitely trolling. No need to be smart to know that there are, at the very least, 2 problems with that card game design from the elder scrolls: legends:
Also this card doesn't exists because i played the elder scrols legends and i don't remember this card at all, if you think i'm wrong then tell me it's name, show me the full design, with the card effect and all that stuff. If you don't find it, then it's non-canon. Not if it matters anyway, it's just a design for a card game inside another game.
I expect an answer such as "I didn't knew it wasn't in the game" because otherwise that would mean you have deliberately posted a card that doesn't exist as evidence of so-called "sub-sonic speed feats". I've debated with a lot of elder scrolls fans and most of them were not honests debaters.
"Leaping back, I narrowly missed a barbed tail and yet another strike of lightning." - Grundvik Cold-Fist
For godsake how does the dragonborn scale from him?
1- This is no natural lightning.
2-Horizental lightning doesn't travel at the same speed as vertical lightning. Its is much much slower.
3- According to your logic, batman and spiderman are FTL because they dodged several laser beams.
4-And where it is stated that he dodged his lightning?
With the full text, the context isn't the same:
"I found the wamasu again, as I quickly stood and caught Roggvir's second-finest hammer, thrown from the onlookers I'd requested not to aid me. A prideful order I was beginning to regret. Steam (or was it smoke?) escaped the monster’s orifices, as it crackled, sending arcs of shocking discharge out from its feet, and charging its tail in bright energy. It let out an impressive growl, and then met me in the mire, clawing at the ground before me, as a massive explosion of light shot out from the wamasu. Had this old fool been set ablaze and sent to Sovngarde? No—I tasted something like sulfur, and the Argonian's ring was pulsing with energy. Leaping back, I narrowly missed a barbed tail and yet another strike of lightning."
See? The tail of the wamasu produces lightning when it hits the ground. He dodged the tail and therefore he wasn't strock by lightning.
Fodder mages are capable of riding their own lightning.
"A wizard can cast a bolt to a nearby target and then instantly "ride the lightning" to that destination." - On the Utility of Shock Magic
Ride the lightning to that destination while it casted. You shoot lightning and then you move your hand to redirect it.
"Game mechanics are non-canon". That's what you said on another thread. So what? It's only canon, when it sutis you.
Whenever you are, it will take odhaviing the same ammount of time to reach you. If you are close to him, it would take him 5 seconds to reach. If you are far away from him, it would take him 5 seconds to reach you.
It wouldn't bevery practical if it would take 10mn for him to arrive to your destination. How fast is odhaving? It took hima long time to travel from riften to whiterun when you call him the first time, in a scripted event.
No, they are not. They are part of the gameplay mechanic, used for the coolness factor that they bring.
Give me one proof that the devs restricted lightspeed attack because of game mechanics
IMP or MFTL+ finishing moves that you can't even see because of their speed is not cool or awesome. That's why there are no MFTL+ finishing moves. .
Ever heard of slowmotion? All the finishing moves are in slow motion. It's not an excuse. Give me one interview of the dev saying that the dragonborn is FTL. No, just give me one interview of them saying he is supersonic. Because everything in the game and cinematics contradict it.
It seems you didn't get my point. My point is that finishing moves are unreliable because they are made not to showcase DB's speed, but to make the combat more fun and engaging. Trying to use it as a way to gauge DB's speed is absolutely illogical.
Finishing moves are scripted moves.
We all saw, how fast was the dragonborn intended to be in the 3 trailers (skyrim, dawnguard and dragonborn.).
No, that's just your headcanon.
-Ignoring facts. Check
-Ignoring Scripted events. Check
-Ignoring cinematics. Check.
-Presenting proof that the dragonborn is FTL? None.
