Grown to a rich and wealthy Family, Connor Drake always knew he wanted to go into the medical field. While going on a cruise with his school when he was 13, their ship got wrecked and they were trapped on a deserted island. After spending the better half of 5 years on the island, Connor trained himself and the others to survive. After this time he became unparreled when it came to long range weapons, his favorite being the bow and arrow. After escaping the island Connor broke away from the others and traveled abroad, learning to harness his body and destroying his physical limitations. After another 5 years abroad Connor has decided to come home and try and change the lives of others for the better.

Connor didn’t hone his skills and build a powerful body by doing machine-assisted bicep curls, smith machine power-curtsies, and ab-coaster crunches. It was done with movements that pushed his body to the limit. This is a reason that Connor is a master traceur; he’s constructed a body designed to carry minimal body fat but maximum power – allowing him to vault over obstacles or scale buildings at a moment’s notice. He’s pretty perfect at appearing up in the rafters, or on top of buildings, and disappearing just as quickly. This is all possible because he has focused on clearing obstacles and really building a strong back to allow him to haul himself up into hard-to reach locations.
Emerald is proficient in several forms of martial arts including judo, wing chun, taekwondo, as well as eskrima. The reason he was able to learn these skills so rapidly while trapped on the island is two-fold: He has a body built for it. It’s tough to be a master martial artist when you’re carrying around excess body fat and no muscle. When you prepare yourself for everything, you can accomplish anything. And on the fact that He HAD to do it. The 13 year old was presumed dead after a shipwreck, and spent five years trapped on an island with minimal access to equipment of any kind. During those five years, he learned to hunt, survive, and thrive in some nature’s most brutal environments. His options were to either die, or adapt, evolve, and survive. It’s amazing what he was capable of when there’s no other option.
Connor also had to hone his skills with weapons to survive, he mastered the bow. it estimates that it takes roughly 10,000 hours to truly master something. With ~8,700 hours in a year, Connor had enough time to master his skill with 5 years on the island. Though the skill he exudes is greater than any human. He is able to hit almost any target with an almost 100 % sucess rate. He usually uses a collaspeable oneida kestrel compound bow.

The Armor Of The Emerald: Given the fact that Connor expects to get shot at, and his is often being shot at, he wants to wear at least a degree of protection over his vital organs, what his currently outfit gives him maximum mobility allowing him to dodge and fight hand-to-hand quite well. If you look at the costume, there doesn't appear to be much in the way of visible protection, beyond the leather exterior. But Connor uses a form of kevlar/nomex for protection against small arms or fire and SAPI ceramic plating providing limited protection against larger arms or arrows underneath the outer layer of the costume. The suit also protects Connor from impacts that would otherwise be severe and possibly fatal. The suit also holds Equipment holsters, so lining the suit's shoulders straps are several miniature canisters that all contain different agents for numerous situations. The only canisters shown so far are one that contains an aerosol agent that can freeze explosives, one that emits a short-range flashbang, one that contains an automatic lockpick, and one that receives LED messages from the his base while on stealth missions.
The back of the suit holds on an enhanced quiver, it can be detached from the suit and be used separately with no restrictions. The quiver is used with two shoulder straps and it seems to be composed of a metallic substance and can hold several dozen arrows. Connor also wears a wrist computer, a computer screen is located on his left wrist. His computer seems to be connected to his bases' computers, it's also used by Connor as a form of guidance while on the streets. They can also be used to access security camera footage, extend out a micro-cam from the wristband to see underneath doorways and be loaded with wireless data packages so that he can connect to databases that are off the grid. Located underneath of Connors quiver is a tether that can extend and hook onto other objects, Connor added kevlar sleeves to prevent being cut or sliced on his arms after almost losing his arm in a mission in China.
Connor's main weapon of choice is the arrow, he carries no less than 24 arrows at a time. His arrows are comprised of carbon, as they have far less penetrating force than aluminum carbon composite arrows meaning he doesn't have to kill his enemies as he shoots them full of razor sharp projectiles. Though he does carry lethal arrows in case he has to kill. Connor also carries miniature projectiles stored on his gauntlets, which are the equivalent of throwing knives. In addition to disarming foes, he carries trick flechettes to produce smoke screens to assist in escapes.
Connor has an entire arsenal of trick arrows with specially-made functions. Connor shoot's them out of his bow but he also has some stored in his gauntlet. Some of them include his router arrow, which when shot near computers and other electronics to hack into them. Then there's the Grappling hook arrow which he uses to grab onto far away surfaces on buildings for swinging lines and zip lines. His Oneida Kestrel Compound Bow has a device which retracts the line mechanically and thus, allows the Connor to ascend several stories onto a targeted surface in a matter of seconds. He calls this the "jettisoning arrow", which "uses compressed carbon dioxide to jettison high tensile strength polymer cables" Next is his Voice recording/Listening arrow which he uses as Recording and listening devices for recording confessions and surveillance purposes.
Then he uses the Ensnarement arrow, After piercing a target, it launches wires into the area around the target and then pulls them tight. These arrows are therefore highly similar to bolas. He then has the Flashbang arrow Which Connor has a flashbang grenade in the form of an arrow. Then an Explosive arrow: both time-delayed, and impact. Flare/Flame burst arrow: They create a burst of fire, which can knock down an opponent and incapacitate them. Connor used them to blind snipers. Tranquilizer arrow: These arrows are used to knock out an enemy. One arrow containes "2,000 mg of horse tranquilizer" Incendiary arrow: Used to burn through objects in Connor's way. Remote detonator arrow: An explosive arrow that can be detonated by remote control. Syringe arrow: An arrow with a syringe in the tip to inject liquids into the target. Electric arrow: An arrow with a device that emits electrical discharges of high voltage, by remote control.
Zip tie arrow: This arrow has a pair of zip straps that can be used similar to handcuffs. Bola arrow: An arrow that releases a set of connected cords which wrap around a moving target in order to take them down. It is often used to tie the targets wrists, legs, and neck. Rope tying arrow: An arrow used to tie around a person's legs and hang that person upside down. Non-lethal arrow: Arrows designed not to penetrate the target's skin, making them non-lethal Cable net arrow: When the arrowhead explodes strong cables are sent in all directions, similar to a spider web, to block the path of escaping criminals. Boxing glove arrow: Connor has an arrow in his quiver that shoots an arrow that expands into a boxing glove so that he can hit his enemies from afar and knock them down without causing serious injury. Double arrow: The tip of the arrow splits in two when fired. Allowing for two targets to be hit, a wire can also be projected between the two arrowheads. Tear gas arrow: An arrow that releases tear gas used to calm down a riot.
Magnetic arrow: Magnetic arrows can cause enemy firearms to fly out of their hands and be magnetically bound to the arrow. Shield arrow: An arrow that releases a metallic net which can latch itself to a surface and essentially become a bulletproof shield. It can withstand fully automatic firepower, but hits its limits on grenades. Firework arrow: An arrow that emits colorful fireworks when shot. Cluster bomb arrow: An arrow that releases a small group of bombs midway and detonates on impact. Drug arrow: Used to deliver a spray of an aerosolized drug. This arrow is designed to stick to the target's chest and spray the drug in their face. Freeze arrow: Connor uses them to freeze his enemies, he can contain temperatures that dip to almost absolute zero.
