Reed undoubtedly has the edge in conventional scientific fields, Doom's intellectual focus extends beyond the purely empirical. Although Doom has achieved significant scientific feats, his true interest lies in the occult, leading him to pursue both paths simultaneously, ultimately mastering neither. It's possible that, were Doom to focus solely on science, he could potentially surpass Richards' achievements. However, I can't see this happening.
