the ability to understand where women come fro- yeah no thats never gonna happen, so I'll have to settle for morphing so at least I can turn into a woman and play with my boobies.

Seriously though, if you wre evil-minded, you could cause so much sheet and pretend to be rich or famous people and if you were gonna use it benevolently (yeah right) you could visit sick kids in hospital and pretend to be their hero.

Instinct tells me (as well as brown-nosing) to say Emma Frost but if I had a mind of my own, I'd say Psylocke because shes a trouble maker with all the X- err men and I'm sure shes almost always ready to bone anyone (and whats not to like about that, she is fecking hawt). If she came back to the core team, Emma would stress out big time.

Gambit, Beast or Angel (unless Angel has a secondary mutation and gets some sort of ranged attack powers) are my candidates for execution, and should be replaced by:

Dark Beast - Hes more fun, not necessarily evil but willing to do anything to get the job done

Deadpool - Twice the fighter Gambit is and is the funniest guy in the Marvel Universe I tells ya

Bob - Can't have Deadpool without his favourite sidekick

Elemental says:

"Grimm, why would you want the New X-Men to be killed off when you have a New X-Men avatar. I hope it's not Bishop since he is the only black male X-Men who is popular. I'm a black guy and he should be back on the team. Last five years was that whole thing with Vargas in Xtreme X-Men, training Thunderbird, his history with Gateway. And I really really like Beast. I really do."

Oh I dunno...theres a de-powered David, he's pretty popular....lol jk

Beast should play a major part in what happens to mutantkind at the culmination of all this, although it would be Marvel-like to kill him off before he could save mutantkind.

As far as former heroes and such, I wouldn't cry foul about any of them, while Gambit and Random are in the Marauders, I read somewhere Sabertooth is joining X-Force with Cable, Mystique, Iceman, Sage and Rogue as the Leader. Also in the last X-Book I read, the one where Storm led her team down to the Morlocks and defeated Masque's band of misfits as well. Dazzler picked up the prophecy book and met Magneto and told him that he was in the book and that he wasn't depowered. I'm fairly sure we will see a few betrayals in amongst everything. I'm looking forward to this series!

yep pretty much, I did quite a few polls a while back before I realised I wasn't gonna go back to wor- home stuff, trapped for all eternity answering polls because of the cool match-ups, so I stopped and forgot to come back lol

I personally think it should be a Thor/Hulk fight, purely on the basis that power levels are of similar nature (strength-wise) but also because both storylines have been building, Hulk has come back, Thor has come back. All we've seen in Thor or Hulk is watch Iron Man get his butt handed to him by Thor, followed by some dismal attempts to subdue the Hulk.

I really don't have a favourable view of the Sentry as well, I know it's what Marvel does and basically the reason Marvel worlds are grittier and more "stark" but a superhero with a personality disorder, THE most powerful dude on Earth. Why do they feel the need to handicap someone just to make a story...

Better late than never I always say (but at least this posting made me join up to this discussion forum) but heres my opinion.

I partly agree with those who call for a draw as Nightwing is sublime at hand to hand and would give Wolverine or Daredevil a run for their money and even then he would win as much as he'd lose as it always depends on scenario. The success rate I would have to tip more than slightly to Cyclops, you can check this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclops_(comics) or:

  • His optic beam is Omega level in regards to power (but classified as Alpha due to being predominantly human albeit peak athletic) and can punch holes through mountains or knock small objects with a slight tap (if you liken it to a billiards/pool player, Cyclops could actually play close to 100% accuracy sinking by using just his beam instead of a pool cue)

  • His tatical mastery, while not natural leadership such as Captain America or exceptional brilliance such as Mister Fantastic, has extensively grown where even his peers in the Marvel Universe accept his position of authority without question but even more impressive can work under another leader directing his team without question.

  • Has reached peak athleticism and has as rigorous training as any metahuman in the Marvel Universe and is well versed in several disciplines and has also built several acrobatic moves to work in conjunction with his powers.

As a close combat cambatant, I would say Nightwing has the undisputed title, beating Cyclops in close combat, however easily, not in the slightest, but its probable. As a ranged fight, Nightwing despite his various tools is inferior in every way. Cyclop's visual acuity means he will see everything and have the next 3 or 4 counter attacks planned in his head before he fires a shot, both defensively and offensively.

Also, one last comment, it says his original visor was hand operated but further versions were neural or thought controlled which makes him on par with any marksman in the Marvel or DC Universes and certainly faster, where Green Arrow, Clint Barton or any using a weapon requires physical tertiary motions (cock > aim > pull), Cyclops reacts somewhat faster as his are thought driven, and requires minimal/no other physical movement.
