Why is Tom DeFalco writing instead of Higgins? He's a terrible writer.

@RedX9: I just remember The Culling. Terrible Villain, zero drama, and a story spread over 3 books and an annual that made it impossible to know what was going on unless you bought all 10 issues of series you may not have even wanted to read. But I guess that since Superman has sold terribly (relatively, considering he's the biggest superhero ever and hasn't cracked the top 20 books sold month to month recently) you have to milk sales for all the're worth

Wait. Baz is Lebanese and recently deported to Gitmo without due process. Hawkman and MM are aliens. Katana is Japanese, and Catwoman is apparently russian or something (screw that origin).

so...

I'm gonna miss Cornell when he's gone. This was my favorite book from DC

@Impala: Actually, the new Superman hasn't been given a release date. Probably sometime in the summer

Also, most of the concepts of the entire Star Wars universe came from no input from lucas at all. There's a great article by Cracked explaining how a man named Ralph McQuarrie made up most of the franchises' iconic moments on the spot while pitching it to studios, including most of the characters, not the least of which being DARTH FREAKING VADER. And producer Gary Kurtz had more of an influence on a new hope than Lucas, whereas the sequels were directed by entirely different people.

Lucas only gets so much credit because he owned the rights. So no big loss there.

While I have a certain amount of respect for George Lucas for using his money the way he did, I think that you missed a big point here: While a good man, it was Lucas who made such crappy prequels and updates. With him taken away from the series, the sequels have a fighting chance at being great.

JLA honestly seems like the series where failing characters are going to die. Green Arrow, Catwoman, Hawkman.... all terrible books. And Ann Nocenti hasn't had a good track record with DC. Katana, while an interesting character, is probably gonna suck under her. However, Vibe piques my interest. But why does he get a book before Martian Manhunter?!?!?!

However, if anyone can inject some life into Oliver Queen, it's Jeff Lemire. Here's a hint: START BY BRINGING BACK THE VAN-DYKE, THEN MAKE HIM A COMMUNIST AGAIN. I want a hero committed to social justice, NOT HAWKEYE.

Wait, I take that back. Fraction's Hawkeye run is ACTUALLY GOOD.

I'm sorry, but I got enough of Dollar Bill from Minutemen, which isn't that much. Probably a good thing, since it seems like he's quite the homophobe in that book. Really, does anyone really care about him.
