The size difference is pretty massive. Marvel's digests are as small as manga - So if you have a collection of those, they'd fit alongside them nicely, but if you have more trades, then they'll fit better with those. I would go with the trades, myself - The reproduction of the art in the digests is much too small and the paper quality is quite poor.

Definitely works for me. Someone else said elsewhere that it seems to change with each setting - In Arkham proper, she gets a nurse's outfit, here she get more street-geary stuff. It fits, I think. I was never a big fan of Harley's regular costume in the first place, but if you're gonna reinterpret it for a quasi-realistic setting, this is good, and way better than any number of crappy photomanips of poor Kristen Bell made to look like TDK's crappy Joker.

It was hardly love at first sight for Peter and MJ - We all knew Peter was still into Gwen when she first turned up. What really made their relationship tick was that it took a good long while for them to get going, and it took even longer for them to get married - Which makes the 'NO MARRAIGE BAD' stance look even more ridiculous than it already is.

The argument does seem especially bland, to me. Kyle wasn't shunted out of the spotlight - He was given the lead role in GLC after DC had tried to get support for an Ion ongoing and it failed. He's still there, they haven't faded into obscurity. And more to the point, what of the other Lanterns? It's always about Kyle. What about Guy or John? Does no-one care that Hal usurped them as the lead in Green Lantern?

Also, Julia Carpenter was obscure for YEARS until recently, when she appeared in Omega Flight, then Grim Hunt. No-one was doing anything with her, and now she's in a position where she's primed to become more involved with the other Spider-Characters than she's ever been. Jessica Drew didn't take her place. For years, no-one gave a shit about ANY Spider-Women, especially after Mattie Franklin's title bombed. Bendis just happened to pick up using Jess because he had wanted to use her in the first place in Alias.

It seems to me that this argument is really quite flawed. Julia and Kyle aren't comparable to the Sentry and Wally West. Now, if you had said Mattie Franklin had gotten the shortest straw lately, I would've happily agreed.

I don't see why reprints shouldn't be added, myself. It still counts as a valid appearance of a character, since American books will only be exported to the countries that speak English, so really, thinking about it, they're not even reprints in the first place. So yes, I think they deserve to be there, and more to the point, what does it hurt? They don't really pollute anything. You don't need to look at it, don't click on it, really. Simple as that.

Heh, which is the end of the movie anyway, near enough, though I think there's something wonderfully sad about Penguin's death, myself. I also like the sad and sombre bit with Bruce finding the black kitty and Selina observing the Batsignal, which if Burton or anyone with even a hint of talent had continued with, would've been a good thing to follow.

Right, so I guess I'm overreacting a touch, but I don't think it helps that this immediately follows a set of stories where Peter has been made a buttmonkey by situations of his own creation - Such as doctoring photos of JJJ, and I suppose stuff like that generally lends me a little biased toward how the writers are currently portraying Peter.

Jesus, how many of you people are attacking these girls for being thin? Can anyone look how they like these days? You look 'too fat', people attack you, you look 'too thin', people attack you.

As it is, I'd like to see Poots as a Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane-style Liz Allan, since she has the right sort of look, and then how about bringing back Elizabeth Banks - Who, like JK Simmons as Jonah, was great as Betty Brant in the first trilogy.

People are forgetting America's not  the only country in the world! When Scott Pilgrim opens in Europe - Which is a good two weeks after the Expendables opens, there's almost nothing left in theaters over here. Just because it's performed poorly over in the USA, I bet it'll do much better here.

The soundtrack is entirely Inception's. If you listen, nothing like that was in TDK. It's an ongoing joke these days, too, to put a trailer for anything to Inception's music.
