Blinking back the blood that dripped in her eyes, Chevie opened up and squinted in the dark space around her. She was moving, she could feel the engine and the wheels thundering along beneath her, the ground was smooth, so they must have been still somewhere in the vicinity of a city. Her brain was calculating faster than she could follow, the throb in her head from where they had dragged her was almost blinding. Lifting one of her hands, she felt the weight of the Titanium manacles binding her hands and feet. There was something more inside them, something that was blocking her powers. She was unable to shift or hear what was going on around her.
Lifting her head quietly she peered into the space, her eyes adjusting she made out the shape of a large carrier truck, big enough to fit about 20 prisoners. It looked much like a converted flat bed, with metal seating around the edges and grille along the middle. She could smell blood and fear on the air, even without her powers. The other prisoners were in various states of calm or fear, each of them looking down at their hands or focusing on the wall across from them. She could see two guards at the other end, a small table between them, two huge guns sat on the table and they carried small buttons on their hips. Blinking down at the manacle she spotted a soft blue light flashing and guessed the point of the devices they carried. Shuddering, she tried to force the tears back, but they dripped down her face. She was scared and powerless, it was not a feeling she was used to.
"Chewey?" a soft whispered voice beside her drew her attention, she peered over at a blonde man with a blind over his eyes, his hands were holding a piece of tinfoil covered chewing gum "I.." she muttered before one of the guards leapt up from his post and clanged down the grille, bracing himself on the bar across the roof he shoved Chevie aside and punched the man next to her in the throat "Shut your mouth shit shot" he laughed menacingly "And keep it shut" the guard glared across at Chevie, licking his lips slightly she could sense his desire as he peered down at her chest. He leaned in close to her "you behave too, little girl" his hand hung at his waist, inches from her chest "Or I'll have to make you" his breath smelt of cigarettes and coffee, melded with body odour, his muscles rippled under his shirt though and she could sense his Alpha senses. He was not used to being challenged. She raised her eyes to stare at him, her mouth in a grim line, just as she was about to reply the guy next to her stood up. The Guard whipped his head around shocked, watching as the blonde man glared at him, and spoke.
"Yeah, I don't like care for how you're talking to that hot piece of ass, dip shit"
