Movies I've Watched Recently, That I Kinda Review Part 2

I've had another movie marathon. This time I decided to just watch whatever, and not just keep it current. In fact none of these movies are that recent, so they probably have even less power and relevance as a review, but I really just want to talk about them, so there you go.

Movies I've Watched Recently, I Kinda Review Part 1

The Score(2001)

This movie is pretty good. It’s standard heist stuff. It doesn’t do more than that. And it doesn’t have to. Thing is though, when you get freaking De’Niro, Edward Norton, and Freaking Brando in the same movie, you kind of hope for something a bit bigger. Like Roger Ebert put in his review of the movie “These three performances are what they need to be and no more. It is a sign of professionalism when an actor can inhabit a genre instead of trying to transcend it." And I agree with that. My thing is. . . would you hire Usain Bolt to slowly shuffle? Or Barry Bonds to bunt? I think, and I know this is impossible, but they should’ve started writing an entirely new script when they cast these juggernauts. Ah well, too late for that. Again though this is a pretty fine film. And these guys do good jobs in the roles. The movie's biggest sin is its under use of freaking ANGELA BASSETT. I mean the other actors are just playing the roles they were put in, but you don't hire Angela Bassett to be just the main character's girlfriend. She's as much a powerhouse as De Niro in my opinion, and though this is a really restrained movie, I wish they would've done more with her more than anything.

Hot Fuzz(2007)

No Caption Provided

I’ve always heard this was a hilarious movie, the quality of comedy from other people. Like all art, humor is so subjective. I think Eddie Murphy, Earthquake, & Bill Burr are hilarious. But there are people who don’t find them funny at all. I don’t know any of those people. My affirmation is purely in a statistical way. Anyway so unlike a drama, I’m usually not going to watch a comedy based on another person’s say so. But I passed this on Netflix, and I figured why not? Those people were right this movie was hilarious. Like all good parodies, I think what makes it so good is how authentic it is to a genre. I mean you could walk in the room while the movie is playing, and think this is just a general genre film. It's so ridiculous and so over the top and that's what makes it so smart.

A Trip To The Moon(1902)-

No Caption Provided

This is a classic film. And seeing as it’s only twelve minutes, I figured I could go ahead and watch it. If you’re looking for an accurate depiction of space travel or the moon, you won’t find that here. Though I’m not going to make fun of it for that. Unlike a inaccurate movie made in the 1980s, this movie was of course made pre moon landing. It was made pre-Wright Brothers!!!!!!!! So of course the science isn’t going to be accurate. Though maybe a cannon that shoots a bullet to the moon wasn’t even plausible back then. I digress. This is mostly a novelty to watch though. I am not of the mind that older art can’t be entertaining. I mean you can pick up a film from the 1930s and have it be just as entertaining as a movie made in 2016. Hell depending on the movie, even more entertaining. But considering the subject matter, the length, and the lack of story or cinematography. This film is mostly just a novelty. It’s enjoyable in it’s goofiness though. If you’ve got twelve minutes to spare, why not?

The World of Tomorrow(2015)

No Caption Provided

I’ve always been a fan of Don Hertz work. And when I saw this short film on Netflix, I figured I’ve got to check it out. It’s only fifteen minutes, so I definitely recommend it for you too. I laughed out loud at least a dozen times. Then the ending made me depressed, but in a good way. It was a really good ending. Suffice to say you should definitely give this a watch. If I talked about it at all, I’d ruin it. SO JUST WATCH IT!

Come and Drink With Me(1966)

No Caption Provided

I was in the mood to watch some classics, which is reflected in the movies from here on out, and I started with this. A movie I had never heard of, but the description intrigued me. It might not be considered a classic here, but it is wildly considered one of the greatest movies to ever come out of Hong Kong. And I don’t have any problems with foreign films or subtitles. So I gave it a look. Like a lot of great western or martial arts, the setup for the film is so simple. A sister, martial artist, is sent to get your brother back from bandits, who have kidnapped him to get their leader back. Technically speaking there’s a twist in this movie. But if you’ve ever saw a martial arts movie before, you know what it is as soon as you see a certain character appear. That being said. The story is pretty straightforward. And the acting is pretty good. Our heroine is decidedly serious and bad*** and the bandits are despicably fun. Well in one scene they take it past being cartoonish, it's kind of a mood whiplash, but it doesn't ruin it. The action might offput some people. I mean this is the 60s, so some of the combat is a little goofy. I mean I think it’s fine, but that might bother others. All in all, I think it’s a pretty great film.

All The President’s Men(1976)

No Caption Provided

Man I loved this movie. Typically speaking It can be hard for me to get into a story that I already know the outcome to. I mean Watergate is probably the biggest political scandal of all time. So much so that -gate has re-purposed as a suffix for controversy. You don’t have to know the particulars to know how Watergate ends, so I figured there wouldn’t be much suspense or tension. But somehow this movie manages it. I guess it’s how hard and how many leads Woodward and Bernstein check out. I mean at every turn they’re getting doors slammed in their faces, people who don’t want to talk, people who wan’t to talk but can’t. I mean about thirty minutes in I said this out loud ‘How are they going to find this out!?' By being relentless, dedicated, and a little pushy. They could’ve been killed, or kidnapped, or arbitrarily thrown in jail. But they don’t give up. The only problem I have with movie, and it’s very minor, is that I wished we could have actually seen the fallout. Actually seen some people in cuffs. Thing is, the ending, is so perfect that I’m fine not seeing it. I mean that final shot with Woodward and Bernstein and the t.v. is just so good to me! That I’m fine with that. This is a must see for me.

Network(1976)

No Caption Provided

Man this film was fantastic. Ever since I heard about this film, I wanted to watch it. However, I never really knew what it was about or that it was a satire or comedy or anything. I though it was just a movie about a t.v. network and what that entailed. And I’ve never seen a movie like that, so I thought it was an intriguing premise. So I went into this film not expecting the humor at all. I mean this movie came out before I was even born, so obviously I’m late to the party. But man it’s crazy how biting and accurate a satire this movie is. But even if it wasn’t, it’s just damn funny! But it’s the characters and the great acting that makes it fantastic. Everyone brings their A Game. Finch, Dunaway, Holden, Duvall, they’re fantastic. Even the bit parts are great. It’s just a wonderful film that you have to check out, if you haven’t already.

The Bigamist(1953)

No Caption Provided

The movie is acted well, it’s shot well, the dialogue is great. The problem I have with this story is that it's a little too simple. I mean it’s literally just a story about a man who loves and is married to two women. It isn’t even a thriller. It’s just a movie about that. Now there is a conclusion and a payoff at the end when SPOILER the husband is told on. SPOILER. But then the movie is just over. We don’t even get to see him get chewed out by one of the women. However that is a kind of delightful ambiguity. It’s nice not knowing what happens. However, I just wish the meat of the plot was more substantial. Ida Lupino, one of the wives, directs the film wonderfully. I just wish it was a more complex script she was working with. The movie is in the public domain, and on Youtube, so check it out. Fun Fact: Film historians cite this as the first film where a female star directed herself.

Glengarry Glen Ross(1992)

No Caption Provided

Another film with some great performances. I think everyone knows this movie’s story. At the end of the month, the employees of a real estate firm are going to have their sells evaluated. And by evaluated, the worst sells are going to result in termination. The sellers are caught in a catch-22. They are given the terrible Glen Ross leads, and only when they close these terrible leads, are they given the fantastic Glengarry leads. And the movie is literally the employees reacting to this within 24 hours. The story is all it needs to be. It’s funny and introspective, and heartbreaking. Pacino & Lemmon make this movie for me. I know believe really love Alec Baldwin’s scene, and I think it’s funny too, but those are what make this movie gold. So if you haven’t seen it, check it out.

Cactus Flower(1969)

No Caption Provided

This movie is perfectly executed farce. I mean the strength of a comedy like this hinges on the timing and the performances, because a farce, by it’s very nature, has to be quick otherwise suspension of disbelief might start to set it. But there’s no problem of that happening here, at least not to me. Ingrid Bergman is the star of this film, both in her place as the eponymous Cactus Flower and as the best thing in the movie. That isn’t a snipe at Walther Matthau or Goldie Hawn, they are both fantastic as well, but Bergman is just a force of nature every second she’s on screen. She’s just hilarious. What makes this farce work is of course the actor’s performances. However it’s also the script, see Adam Sandler re-did this movie, titled “Just Go With It” with Jennifer Aniston and Brooklyn Decker. Here’s a mini review of Just Go With It: Don’t watch it! Obviously you can do whatever you want, but if my opinion carries even the smallest weight, heed my words! If you’re going to experience this story, Cactus Flower is the way you should go. I mean I don’t think I have to tell you that Matthau and Bergman can wipe the floor with Sandler and Aniston on any day of the week. But it’s not just that, see the reason Adam Sandler’s version of the movie doesn’t work is because it’s too heavily bogged down with other side stuff and even more contrivances. See the farcical part of both movies start off with the same contrivance: After the main character, Matthau and Sandler, pretends to be married, the girlfriends, Hawn and Decker, request to meet the non-existent wives. Now of course, the lies begin to spiral out of control, but whereas Cactus Flower keeps the premise as grounded as it could possibly be. I mean Cactus Flower is almost equal parts drama, lest we forget that the movie begins with Goldie Hawn’s Toni failing to commit suicide. Sandler’s movie spirals out of control with Hawaii subplot, and fake British little girl subplots, and fake kids missing their dad subplot, and sheep farmer subplot, and sheep birth scene subplot, and Anistion’s rival subplot, played by Nicole Kidman, also showing up adding another unnecessary layer to the farce! And of course wrapped in the juvenile humor of today. All in all, Cactus Flower is a great dramedy, that I think is worth more people’s time. I mean I can’t know popularity for sure, but I’ve never heard anyone talking about this movie and it really is good. And remember: Don’t watch Just Go With It!

PS4 Games I'm Ready For, What Are You Ready For Part 3!?

I'm back with another list. Games I want in 2016/2017. However some of them are bereft with real description. Why? Because there are only so many ways I can say this looks fun or this looks awesome. But then if I put it in this blog, that means it at least denotes something I think looks fun. Here are parts 1 and 2:

2016 Games I'm Ready For Part 1

PS4 Games I'm Ready For Part 2

Severed

No Caption Provided

Oh Damn! I can’t believe I left this off the other ones. I’ve wanted this game more than any other! But it went quiet for a while, but it’s coming out Tuesday April 26th! It’s made by Drinkbox, the studio who made Guacamelee! One of the best games of all time! Look at the picture, nothing more to be said. Besides to reiterate that it comes out in two days!

Pyre-

No Caption Provided

I literally checked SuperGiant Games the day before this was announced. I’m not being hyperbolic when I say SuperGiant are one of my favorite developers. Bastion and Transistor are fantastic games, and we hadn’t heard anything in awhile. Now we hear of this new Pyre party based RPG. And according to Kotaku, it's kind of like a sports game! I don’t know much about it, just revealed and all, but it’s SuperGiant so I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Battle Chef Brigade-

No Caption Provided

I have this weird obsession with chef characters and cooking in general in my media. So an RPG where you play as a battle chef is intriguing to me. Like above, I don’t know much about it, but from the art alone I’m excited for it.

The Last Blade 2-

No Caption Provided

This is an old SNK fighting game, I’ve never played it before. S here’s my chance.

Psycho Pass: Mandatory Happiness-

No Caption Provided

I liked the Psycho Pass anime quite a bit, and so a game in that universe seems right up my alley. You play as an original character, though it's a visual novel so I have to assume it's one of those voiceless make any choice character, in the universe. Male or female.

Cook, Serve, Delicious 2-

No Caption Provided

Like I said above I like cooking parts in my video games, even simple ones like the cooking mechanic in Dragon’s Crown. However, this one takes out the middle man and makes the focus of the game completely on cooking. From the looks of it, it seems to be a very detailed and through examination of cooking. With other 180 foods and 1,000 recipes!

Skylar & Plux-

No Caption Provided

I just learned about this game. Don’t know much about it, but it’s a 3D Platformer, and how many varieties of those do we get nowadays? At the very least, it looks like an adequate platformer, and for me that means there's a good reason to check it out.

Alienation

Housemarque has some of the best games Playstation systems, so I can’t wait to play their next one. This one comes out on tuesday, so hopefully it’ll live up to their craftsmanship.

Day Of The Tentacle Remastered-

No Caption Provided

This is one game that I’ve wanted to play for a long, long time. No time like the present.

Ronin-

No Caption Provided

I played this game on PC. It’s a turn based stealth game, where you play as a sword wielding heroine on a mission of revenge. I never finished the game though, mainly for time. But college classes are winding down, so I’ll have plenty of time during the summer.

Mother Russia Bleeds-

No Caption Provided

Devolver Digital just has this really awesome aesthetic. I put Eitr onmy last list, it looks so awesome. Ronin above is also made by them. This game is on this list because of aesthetic, because I actually don’t know what it’s about. Besides being a cool looking beat’em up.

MatterFall-

No Caption Provided

Housemarque again. Don’t know anything. But come on, it’s Housemarque.

Shadow Of The Beast

No Caption Provided

Looked cool.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X-

No Caption Provided

I’ve just got to experience this game, I’ve never played one before. But I HAVE to experience one of these.

Loud on Planet X-

I’m not necessarily into music games, but this one seems strange enough that I want to check it out.

Movies I've Watched Recently(I Kind Of Review)

I usually don’t watch movies, but over the past couple of days, I’ve watched a large amount of them. Soooooo I figured I do a blog post where I kind of review these movies or at least give my general thoughts. Basically none of these are timely or anything, so they might not have value as critiques, but I really just want to talk about them, so I will. At first I tried to stay in 2015, but I figured if I’m in the move, I shouldn’t limit my experiences right!? If there’s a theme across all of these movies for me, it’d be ‘unexpected’ And I explain that below. At least two of the movies I watched are sequels, so expect spoilers for established facts in the franchise. Also general spoilers about the movies in general because I am touching mostly on themes, not scenes.

The Hateful Eight

No Caption Provided

The scene in Django Unchained where he tries to escape Candyland is one of my favorite movie moments ever. I just love the action of it all. When I heard that Tarantino was making another movie, another western at that, I was immediately pumped. I was ready to see more of that fast gunplay. However that’s not what I got really, though I think I’m better for it. Instead what I got is a sort of think peace set to the backdrop of the South. I mean this movie is basically a Southern Literature novel in motion. We’ve got all the classic signs. Focus on justice and our place in community. Slavery, Civil War and the legacy it creates. The racial tension which is at the heart of post-civil war South. Maybe we should count Tarantino with the likes of Faulkner and O’Conner. And inside of that. . . well I’m not going to say. Anyway I’ve already watched this three times now, so there’s denying that I enjoyed it furiously.

Kingsman: The Secret Service

No Caption Provided

I got excited about this movie when it came out, but I totally forgot about it after it came out. So I never saw it. When I finished The Hateful eight, I figured I’d follow a link and watch another movie with Samuel L Jackson in it. This movie actually was what I expected and it was great. That scene is the church was absolutely glorious. But at it’s heart this was a fun and exciting secret agent movie. And I recommend.

The Dressmaker

No Caption Provided

I hadn’t heard anything about this movie. I learned about it hours before I watched it. Kate Winslet is one of my favorite actresses and I figured she’s got a new movie out I should try it out. When I read in the description that it was a revenge movie, set in a specific time period. I pictured a western where she’d be shooting and killing people, no joke. So of course what I got surprised me. Though again like I said above, I think it was for the better. This is a weird movie to me and I don’t want to spoil what it’s about. But know that the actors give great performances and there is payoff.

Slow West-

No Caption Provided

Now this is what I expected by the title. . . a slow western. I don’t know if I can recommend this movie or not. I’m not saying it’s bad. I’m just saying of these earlier movies I watched, it left the smallest impact. I think I would’ve enjoyed it better if it was just a straight up western with Michael Fassbender and he didn’t have to be tied to Jay Cavendish plotline. So even though it was an okay plotline, it left me feeling empty.

Kung Fu Panda 3

No Caption Provided

Kung Fu Panda 2 was so good, I couldn’t wait for this movie to come out. And it did not disappoint. When I thought of a village of pandas living in secret, I have to say. . . I thought it was going to lead to a terrible plotline. However the inclusion of that plotline lead to some great jokes actions and reaffirmation for the series. Again I really don’t want to spoil, just know that if you’re a fan of the series this is another great installment for the series.

Mad Max: Fury Road-

No Caption Provided

Since I’m probably the last person to see this movie, hyperbolic I know, I knew nothing going in. I’m never seen any Mad Max movies, never played the games, only saw the trailer. And I really didn’t have much of an inclination. But then someone told me it was one of the best movies of the year. So I figured, I should give it a chance. One of the things about human nature that is weird is how we gravitate to the same things we like. Because we can’t conceptualize things we never had. And so if you’d asked me if I wanted to watch a movie which is basically a two hour car chase scene. I would’ve say “HELL NO!" And I would’ve been wrong. Man I loved every second of this movie. Every second. In manages to pack action in just about every second, and usually that’s annoying, but in this movie it’s so well choreographed that I was just salivating. When I watched this it was like 2:00 Am and I had a 9:30 class, so I figured I’d watch 30 minutes and then watch the rest in the morning. But I couldn’t I stayed up till 4:00 to finish it. So since, again, I’m the last person to see this I don’t need to recommend it, but I will anyway.

The Big Short-

No Caption Provided

Now this movie, and the way it turned out is, the most unexpected of all the movies I watched. Now maybe I wasn’t paying attention, but I thought this movie was going to be a dramedy that leaned more strongly to the comedy side. I thought it would be like The Wolf of Wall Street for example. And it is kind of like that, if you replaced some of the humor with depression. We basically have a group of characters screaming to the mountaintop about a fire ready to burn a town down, but the townspeople just continue on there way, making dinner, washing their cars, and reading bedtime stories. Totally unaware. But I really loved this movie. I like the writing, the performances, and I liked this depiction of this crisis. No punches were pulled in making the banks seem like the biggest scammers in the world. I liked the tone. This might have something to do with it being a true story, but I liked that there wasn’t a happy ending or even a semblance of a happy ending or finality. I just liked everything about it.

Kumiko The Treasure Hunter-

No Caption Provided

This is a story about a young woman too socially awkward and/or depressed to engage with the people around. Maybe it’s a conscious choice, but the way she acts suggests a possible anxiety.Think about Tomoko from Watamote but worse. Not that she is technically worse socially confidant than Tomoko, I mean worse for the viewer. In that this is live action, and played completely for drama. Watamote pushes the boundaries of awkwardness, but the reason is capable of pushing pass it is Tomoko’s overreactions in her mind, giving the scenes humor to push pass the unbearable uncomfortableness. Not this movie. And it’s worse for our protagonist, as she is an adult. I’m not saying social anxieties are better or worse for people in their teen or adult years I’m just saying, children and teenagers are expected to go through awkward phases, and even though it can be more severe, can be expected to go through social problems. However, by the time you’re twenty-nine, like our protagonist, you’re expected to have the social points of life down, and we see at least two of the story’s characters verbalize this to Kumiko. Now like I said above, maybe Kumiko doesn’t have an anxiety. Maybe she’s so disillusioned that she has regressed into a depression. Either way there is a sadness that is is a core part of her character. Now this movie seems obscure enough that I won’t even spoil the plot. Just know that Kumiko’s anxiety and/or disillusionment takes her on a very weird adventure. And that I give it two thumbs up.

Sicario-

No Caption Provided

This movie is like Slow West above. Not in content, but how I feel. I like the writing. I like the characters, but in my opinion it doesn’t do much different in the 'war on drugs’ storyline. I mean do like the movie so I can recommend it. But like Slow West, it didn’t leave much of an impact on me.

Edge of Tomorrow-

No Caption Provided

When this movie came out I discounted it as a standard action flick and so I moved own. That was an unfair summation of the movie. It’s much more than that. It’s a very funny, very smart action film in my opinion. It has some hilarious scenes and some pretty good action. Now in retrospect I would argue that the story has some significant plot holes, but I’m not going to let that ruin an awesome movie for me.

Captain America: Winter Soldier-

No Caption Provided

After watching Edge of Tomorrow I wanted to watch another action movie. I remember when this came out, everyone I knew was telling me it was such good action. So I went to this, Marvel movies are usually dependable in that anyway. And they were right. First Avenger was a fine movie, but Winter Soldier is better to me. Or at least I liked it more.

Avengers: Age of Ultron-

No Caption Provided

First of all, I LOVED James Spader as Ultron. People love Loki, but I don’t. I think Ultron is a better villain anyway, and definitely in this cinematic universe. Anway as far as comparing the two movies, I don’t know for sure that this is better. I mean a coming together story usually just feels better, but there’s something to be said about a well oiled machine. There is no doubt that I really enjoyed it, but I don’t know if I like it more.

The Samaritan-

No Caption Provided

Samuel L Jackson is “The Man Who Play In Everything" I mean one minute he’s in 1,000,000,000 dollar grossing The Avenges. The very same year, he’s in this. Now I’m not saying that a blockbuster is better than a straight dvd movie on that premise alone. I’m just saying that A-List actors typically won’t put themselves in those movies. Mr. Jackson doesn’t mind. I’m cool with that, I just wished he picked better ones. The movie is about as basic as you can get. Guy gets out of jail, tries to make it straight, people force him back in. There is a plot twist here. I think some filmmakers confuse surprise with being a good twist. See it’s not hard to surprise an audience, because they never know for a fact what’s going to happen. So subverting expectations isn’t hard. The plot twist here is shocking, but only in that what it is itself is shocking on it’s own. Not in that it’s a good plot twist. In the end I’d give this movie a pass.

Little Witch Academia & Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade

No Caption Provided

These aren’t movies per se, but they are short films. I was on netflix and I remembered how much I wanted to watch it. And I kind of wanted to get The Samaritan of my brain, and this was a pretty stark contrast. Studio Trigger did Kill la Kill an anime I absolutely love. And I really like there style of animation, and I was ready to see them put out some great visuals. The story is basically oridnary. That is not a backhanded way to say it’s bad. I’m just saying it’s pretty standard. Young girl sees a magic show, and is then inspired to become a witch herself, she idolizes her her and aspires to be like her. It’s the visuals, the comedy, and the characters that makes this special to me. But not just special, the shorts are. . .MAGICAL.

In Bruges-

No Caption Provided

I’ve been trying to watch this movie for like TEN YEARS. It’s not like I had stumbling blocks. But like I said above, I don’t watch movies most of the time. I don’t know why. It involves two hitmen how are forced to hide out in a Belgium town called Bruges, until there boss calls. It’s funny, it’s dramatic, it has great dialogue, and the performances are excellent. It’s just a great film all around.

Sweetwater-

No Caption Provided

I’m not saying this movie is terrible, I’m just saying that it falls short of the ‘pedigree’ of movies I picked around it. Mainly because of cliches. We’ve got a preacher who is a trifecta in that he is ‘the hypocritically lascivious cliche,’ ‘The amoral preacher’ cliche, and the ‘Delusion God’s Plan’ Cliche’ rolled into one. And it has rape ‘both 1st in basically a drive by scene and then as a general atmosphere amongst all the bad guys. Because ‘all bad guys are rapists.’ Now maybe the main character wasn’t raped, but she was knocked out by a man she hates and is repulsed by and then we cut to her in bed with him, so yeah. And I haven’t seen enough of January Jones’ work to know if I enjoy her, but I don’t like her performance in this movie. The second half of the movie, isn’t what I expected, and it’s the better half in my book. . . but I can’t say that it’s worth it. There seems like some attempts at humor, but they fell flat to me. I mean there’s a scene where Ed Harri’s character is tied to a cross, seriously, and then beat with a broom by a church lady. Though there is one joke at exactly 1:19:24 that made me laugh. Again it isn’t terrible. I kind of like the writing, but towards the end, I was literally checking how much time was left. And that can’t be a good sign. All in all, I’d skip it.

Stretch-

No Caption Provided

This movie wasn’t terrible, but it annoyed me to no end. From the beginning it admits that it’s going to be a movie of coincidences, but I thought it was being tongue in cheek and wouldn’t revel in it. First of all there’s apparently only one tow truck driver in LA. And every time this tow truck driver speaks he has subtitles in a different language. Even though he’s speaking English. It just annoys me. Some of the dialogue is clever, some of it is annoying. Here are three lines, that annoyed me.

“We are going to have a rape party!”

“So come on Crayola, you wanna color or what?”

“You can have a rape party with them."

I just groaned at those. Then at this movie’s heart is a comedy. But it has major comedic moments that fall flat First of all is Chris Pine, who is playing this amoral degenerate, that’s just annoying. Maybe it’s funny to others, but I was annoyed from the moment he landed, from a parachute, on top of Stretch’s limo. When he dons tribal paint and brandishes a sword, I was ready for him to be shot. I was facepalming at all of his dialogue. But the worst part about his character is that the movie seems to put him in the light of this life guru. The movie and characters actually take his opinions and words seriously even at the end. This movie even trots out the ‘Annoying White Rapper, as corny as it has ever been, but extremely misplaced in a 2014 movie. But last but not least, is the ending. Maybe someone could find it sweet, but when I saw the big ‘twist’ at the end. I was so mad, that I can’t describe it. I can barely explain why I was so mad, but I was. With all of that, you might think I wouldn’t recommend it. But I like Patrick Wilson enough that I still kind of liked it. And another person’s suspension of disbelief is going to be higher than mine. So maybe check it out.

7 Video Games I Hope Are/Will Being/Be Made!

Thinking about games I'm excited for, made me think about other games I still want. Here's just a couple of games I hope are own some developers minds right now.

Beyond Good & Evil 2

No Caption Provided

The original Beyond Good & Evil is one of my top favorite games. If you want a quick rundown, here’s six of them

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence

Super Metroid

Mass Effect 2

Beyond Good & Evil

Crash Bandicoot: Warped

Monster World IV

Pinning the game down to a genre is unfair to it. Just know that it involves an adventure that involves photography, stealth, and some combat. And I’ve wanted a sequel since I first played it. Now saying a game I want to be made here might not be right. Because this game has allegedly been being made since 2008 or something like that. And rumors have resurfaced lately. Even today the Beyond Good & Evil was filed for trademark. So I hope the rumors are true. Though with a cavaet for me. Apparently the game might only be made for Wii U or NX, that means that I might not play it for years after the game comes out. Is not that I hate Nintendo, it’s just that Metroid is the only franchise that I truly care about. Speaking of.

Metroid(Either 2d or Prime Variety)

No Caption Provided

I actually didn’t get mad when Metroid Prime: Federation Force was announced. The way I see it, if it’s fun, it can bring fans to the series, so that Metroid can be the popular series that it deserves to be. I’m not saying it doesn’t have prestige, I’m just saying it’s nowhere as popular as Mario or Zelda, and I wish it was. Anyway, I hope that somone at Nintendo is making a game in the main Metroid series. I wouldn’t care if it was 2d or Prime. Just give me something. I mean think about it there has been a 2D Metroid since 2003, do you know what they could do with the technology now! Think about seeing some of Samus moves with new technology! The Screw Attack! I’d be so pumped! Last but not least, I know the last time this happened it fell short, but I think they should give getting Samus a bigger story is in order. I just believe they should be careful with it. I mean Samus’ job and the environment she’s in, automatically evokes story. It’s space, it’s bounty hunting, it’s saving the galaxy. I’m not saying it has to be complex. Just a little more. I guess Nintendo exclusivity is still a block for me. But if they made a new Prime game and Beyond Good & Evil 2, well I guess I’d have to buy the console.

Crash Bandicoot

No Caption Provided

Crash is a 3D Platformer that started on the original PlayStation. It’s my favorite of all platformers. I’ve always wanted a sequel that was a straight continuation of those PS1 games. Jumping into portals, twirling monsters, getting crystals, doing it over again. Obviously Naughty Dog has it’s handfull making some of the best experiences on PlayStation, but maybe they could, I don’t know, mentor a studio into making a Crash revival. I can always hope right!

Monster World V

No Caption Provided

There are 4 games in the Monster World series. . . but I’ve only played 1. Monster World IV came out in the U.S. in 2012. I bought as a fluke and loved this side scrolling adventure. Now there’s currently a spiritual successor coming out. However, it might not be the same fun that IV was, and besides I want to play with Asha again!

Dragon’s Crown 2

No Caption Provided

Dragon’s Crown is one of those games where I belive the controversy overshadowed the game. The hypersexualization, the criticism, and the way the creator reacted in turn. I think it might’ve overshadowed how fun of a game it was. I mean, I’m not trying to generalize. Maybe other people just didn’t like it. But I found it a lot of fun, and it’s setup could very well warrant a sequel that expands on the RPG elements and has even more quests and classes.

Transistor 2

No Caption Provided

In this example, they don’t have to give me a sequel to Transistor’s story. But they NEED to make another game with this game’s engine. I mean for me, this is one of the most unique systems, easy to use; complex, and capable of hundreds of different combinations. So they could give me a new story, but with the same gameplay.

Velocity. . . 4X

No Caption Provided

Velocity 2x is a hybrid side-scroller- space shooter. That revolves around a bad*** named Kai Tana, who can teleport and has a ship that can also teleport. If you haven’t realized yet, I’m okay with getting the same things from my games. I just want more. I’m greedy like that. So a bigger story, more complicated levels and more sidescorolling.

PS4 Games I'm Ready For, What Are You Ready For Part 2!?

Right after I posted the list, I remembered a bunch of other games. So here they are some indies and some mainstreams.

Eitr

No Caption Provided

I can't believe i left this off the first list! During E3 with all of the games showcased and big 'AAA' GAMES, this was the game that got me the most hype. I love the aesthetics and I loved the way it played. In this game you play as The Shield Maiden. As you use lightning sword and axe to try and plow through hundreds of dangerous enemies! I could say it's like Dark Souls, but I've actually never played Dark Souls, so that's just a feeling I have. Dark Souls or not this game looks awesome all on it's own!

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven

No Caption Provided

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is one of my favorite manga. And JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle is one of my favorite games, so when a sequel was announced, of course I was all over that! With more characters and features and allegedly NO DLC, it's guaranteed to be a great game for me.

Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night

No Caption Provided

Metroidvania is probably my favorite game genre, top 3 with Stealth and. . . something else. Anyway 2D Castlevania games are great, but I don't think we've got one in awhile. So the guy who made quite possibly the greatest of all Castlevania game AKA Symphony of the night, Koji Igarashi is making his own Castlevania with his own characters. It stars Miriam as she ventures into a castle to fight demons and cure a curse. This is a day one for me, though it might not be coming out this year.

Kingdom Hearts 3

No Caption Provided

Yeah I name checked this, but I forgot to mention it. I guess it's because I don't necessarily have hype for this. I mean I played the first two games, and I loved them, but I don't feel this definitive urge to play completely. Still doesn't mean I'm not going to pick it up when it comes out.

Ratchet & Clank

No Caption Provided

Ratchet & Clank is one of my favorite game series. Though I haven't played the original games for years now. I remember the game being very fun and inventive. And since it's been 14 YEARS, it's bound to be a fresh and great experience again.

Dark Souls III

No Caption Provided

I've never played a Dark Souls game. I played Bloodborne, but I've been told the series are only partially comparable. I've never actually had a Souls experience. And I figure this new one is a good place to start, though I might pick up DS2 as well.

Bioshock Collection

No Caption Provided

I've never played Bioshock 1 or 2. I have Infinite for the PC, but I'm not much of a PC gamer so I haven't gotten really anywhere in it. This collection is partially speculation in that it might not be released this year, but the collection has been rated so, it's all but confirmed.

The King of Fighters XIV

No Caption Provided

Little anecdote. I once went into a Gamestop and picked up a PS2 game case for King of Fighter 98: Ultimate Match and it actually had the game in the case. That was my first experience with the series, and I really liked it. With those large amount of characters I had never had any experience with. I mean I literally had never heard of the characters before. And I've been in to the series ever since. I was pumped when it was announced. Now I'm not the kind of guy who cares about graphics, but I would dbe lying if I didn't say the visuals kind of bothered me. It's probably because I really like the 2D look of the games, but it's not terrible. Besides VICE IS IN THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indivisible

No Caption Provided

I don't know if this game is actually coming out this year. But I sure do hope so. I mean the demo was just pure FUN! For me it's one of the most unique RPG's I've ever played. Now maybe it's like some other game, but I've never played it. The designs are awesome. The gameplay is awesome. As are the visuals. I don't want the dev team to rush, but I really hope this comes out this year!

Valkyria Chronicles: Remastered

No Caption Provided

I never got to play this the first time around. I actually enjoy turn based tactics, but in my list of games to buy. These games always fall low on the list. And so, I never got around to it. Hopefully I can rectify now.

Odin Sphere: Lefthasiter

No Caption Provided

Vanillaware makes great games! Dragon's Crown is one of my favorite. I bought this game for PS3 during a sale, but I really never got around to getting far into it. I only got through like the first two levels. And they were really fun, and I knew I wanted to finish it. So it's good that we're getting a remastered version, with new content! Also it's beautiful

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

No Caption Provided

Dialogue Options, Hacking, Stealth, Computer Flavor Text, Multiple Solutions, Multiple Paths, Side Quests. It's like Deus Ex: Human Revolution stuffed almost everything I wanted in one game. So If Mankind Divided is just more but better, I'm ready for it.

Gravity Rush 2

No Caption Provided

Never played the first one, though I might pick up the remastered version, and the premise alone is enough for me.

Code of Princess

No Caption Provided

I wanted to play this game since it first game out, but it was a 3DS exclusive and I'm not much of a handheld gamer. . . in that I've never once owned a handheld system. Not even a Gameboy Color or anything. But this game is being ported to Windows, so it'll probably one of the only PC games I pick up.

Danganronpa V3

No Caption Provided

I've never played Danganronpa, but people say it's on the same wavelength as Persona, and I love Person. So I'm probably going to pick up on release.

Shadow Complex Remastered

No Caption Provided

I've always wanted to play this, but it's been exclusive to Xbox systems, and so I couldn't. It's a Metroidvania game, and in my opinion, there aren't enough of these games. So I want to play anyone I can, including this one, especially since it was so well received.

Shadow Warrior 2

No Caption Provided

This game features over 70 WEAPONS! Nuff Said!

Ni-Oh

No Caption Provided

I think good swordsman games are lacking. I'm not saying good games with swordsmen don't exist. I'm just saying not a lot games make being a swordsmen feel real. I mean in a lot of action adventure titles, the sword is basically comparable to a big stick or something. Just from pure visuals, and having no experience with it looks like this game will be able to manage that.

Valkyria: Azure Revolution

No Caption Provided

I put this game at the bottom, 1. Because I just found out about it and 2. Because I'm pretty sure it's not going to be coming out in America this year. And 3. Because I'm not sure I want it so bad. But it seems like a kind of cool action RPG, so I might give it a chance.

2016 Games I'm ready for! What games are you ready for!?

It's April now! So we're even closer to some great game releases! Seven indies and Fifteen 'mainstream' There are probably more, but these are the ones one my mind.

Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus

No Caption Provided

The reason why this game came first, is because it's already out And I literally just found out about it. But it's exactly the game I want. Since I played one of top 10 favorite games called Monster World IV, I been wanting another game like it. And that's what this is, an action adventure game starring a badass girl with a sword, shield, animal companion, and giant bosses. I've got to get this

Nights of Azure

No Caption Provided

Part 2 of the awesome looking/sounding games that I just heard about. This game is also out and appears to be a fun Japanese action rpg. I saw gampelay and a trailer and it looks like a fun arpg.

Bound

No Caption Provided

I don't really know anything about this game. This is part 3 of the games I just learned about. But it seems to be an experimental experience kind of games, and all I had to see where the screenshots and the description. And I was in!

One Piece: Burning Blood

No Caption Provided

One Pirate Warriors was an okay experience. But it was lacking the full One Piece experience I wanted. One Piece, shonen anime in general, is made for fighting games. That's why I was automatically excited when I heard this game was announced. I'm buying on day one.

Mass Effect: Andromeda

No Caption Provided

I had absolutely no problem with Mass Effect 3. Ending or anything. I think it's because I didn't play the games as they were released. So I didn't get caught in the 'your choices really matter' hype. I just enjoyed playing through three space RPG's! So no matter what's it about or where it takes us, I'm ready to get my hands on it.

Hellblade

No Caption Provided

This is an action game that has a focus on psychological damage and the ability to fight through it. That's an interesting premise and the visuals are gorgeous. So I'm ready.

Battleborn

No Caption Provided

I don't think I'm really into MOBA's but then this is a 'hero shooter.' Whether that is semantically different is irrelevant, I played through the beta. With the woman in the picture Phoebe, who carries around swords, some of which telepathically float around her and can be shot out. It was so much fun. If it is a MOBA, it's the first I've been excited for.

Invisible Inc.(PS4 Version)

No Caption Provided

This game has been out on Steam. But now it's coming to PS4, where I do like 95% of my gaming, so I've been waiting for this port. I think turn based and stealth is like one of the most perfect combinations, and the stylized look is great. I'm ready to play.

Mirror Edge: Catalyst

No Caption Provided

Mirror's Edge wasn't my favorite game, but it was just unique enough and fun enough for me to want a better more polished sequel. And that's what this is supposed to be, also OPEN WORLD! I mean Open World parkour sounds so fun!

Horizon: Zero Dawn

No Caption Provided

I'm in the dark about the particulars about this. But taking on robotic dinosaurs has to be fun.I mean there has to be like a law of science.

Uncharted 4

No Caption Provided

I actually only played Uncharted 3, borrowed it from a friend, so I haven't had my feel of the series, like some others might've. I've been wanting to play another one since I finished it. And we're so close!

Dishonored 2

No Caption Provided

Dishonored was an awesome game. Stealth is one of my top 3 favorite genres, but I didn't know it could be so fun to have stealth mixed with unstealthlike superpowers. So I really like the way the feel of the game and it was really fun. Then the trailer just managed to make me even happier when I saw Emily's design. Pumped!

World of Final Fantasy

No Caption Provided

Final Fantasy is one of those series that I've dipped my feet in but never truly submerged. I've played FF1, FF2, FF4, FF5, FF6, FF7, & FF X-2, but I've never finished any of them. Though I am currently playing 4 & 5. In fact the longest I've been around the characters is the Kingdom Hearts games, which I did finish. So I figured a game that is entranced in the history would be right for me to get into the series, before FF15 and FF7 remake comes out. And it's so cute!!!!!!!!!!!

Hyper Light Drifter

No Caption Provided

Look at that screenshot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you need to see the game in motion. I think it's out now, and I'm ready to play it!

Persona 5

No Caption Provided

Persona 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. So I've been ready to play this game since all the way back in. . . 2015. So I played the game a little late, it's no less fantastic. Though I'm kinda bummed you can't have a custom character, I still can't wait to jump into this game!

The Last Guardian

No Caption Provided

Fool me once, you know the rest. I really hope this is coming out this year. Though I can't say I'm excited, I think a tentative release date might help spark something.

Doom

No Caption Provided

Look at that cover! I enjoyed Doom 3 for it's claustrophobic take on the series. But I can't say I'm not doubly happy to play a Doom that takes it back to it's root. I'm a writer myself, and I prefer great stories in games, sometimes to the detriment of gameplay. But in this instance, I don't care if there's no explanation for the story, I just want to shoot some demons!

No Man’s Sky

No Caption Provided

This is a game sold on concept alone for me. It's not that I don't think it'll be fun, but I really don't understand what it's about to a complete degree. So the idea is what I'm going to be purchasing. I hope it's worth it.

Star Ocean V: Faithfulness and Integrity

No Caption Provided

Never played any Star Ocean game, I just feel like I'll like it.

Final Fantasy XV

No Caption Provided

Besides the stuff I said above about Final Fantasy, I just think the game looks like fun. And now that there is a release date, I couldn't be more ready.

Overwatch

No Caption Provided

Since Overwatch is also 'not a MOBA,' it might explain why I am drawn to this game, like Battleborn above. The character designs brought me in from the beginning. The gameplay kept me in. I mean look at Phaedra!

I Am Setsuna

No Caption Provided

I'm all into traditional JRPG's and this looks like a premium one, that I can dive into.

Street Fighter V Character Hopefuls, Part 2.

Well Street Fighter V is out! Though I'm upset about the lack of features at launch, the actual fighting gameplay is superb, and I've gotten into some fun matches online(when it actually connects!). On Monday, I did a blog post called Street Fighter Hopefuls, where I listed characters(Street Fighters and Guests) that I hoped would join the SFV roster. And this is part 2! I don't have too many more Street Fighter characters I really want, so this is mostly guest characters. Some are actually kind of likely. . . maybe. I'll probably even do a part three, because why not!

Sagat

No Caption Provided

If you're a Street Fighter fan, I don't need to explain why Sagat is so awesome. Well maybe you don't agree, but I ceratinly think he's awesome. I would very much like it if Sagat's journey some how led him to Ryu and they became friends. That's probably asking for a lot, but yeah wishlist.

Doctrine Dark

No Caption Provided

Just look at this guy! I can't believe I left him off that last list! Doctrine Dark is a character from the EX series. He is certifiable insane! He uses knives, strings, and bombs to utterly decimate his opponent. He was one of my favorites from that series. Considering the entity of Shadaloo or the entire business of the brainwashing of characters, I could see a very easy integration of this character into the Street Fighter canon. As mentioned before, getting EX characters in the game is super unlikely, but one can dream.

E. Honda

No Caption Provided

It's not that I play with E. Honda so much. When I was a kid, he and Chun-Li were the only characters I played with, because they were the only characters who I could perform a special move with(mercilessly pushing the punch button). The reason I loved the character though, is because I love the reverence and humility they give to the sumo profession and it's embodiment in E. Honda. As such I would very much like to seem him return. He is a SF2 veteran, so it's likely he'll show up eventually.

Q

No Caption Provided

Q is just a mysterius bad*** and I'm very much ready to find out who or what Q is. He makes me think of Rorschach from Watchmen, and that's always good. I don't think they've even made a mention of Q since SF3(For comparison even though they haven't reappeared either, they've at least mentioned Oro, Sean, Gill, Sodom). However just doing a cursory search will show seemingly thousands of people eagerly awaiting the return of Q, including me.

C. Jack

No Caption Provided

Another EX character, surprise surprise. But I'm thinking this is the last one. This guy has style, a mysterious, not showing the eyes thing(I wonder why that's so common in media.) Like a more style conscious Daisuke Jigen. In one of his stories, he was going to rescue a family member. That could be recycled if he reappeared. And he has a bat which he uses to hit his opponents to the moon! Nuff said!

Crimson Viper

No Caption Provided

I think Crimson Viper was the best of the new characters of SFIV. Most people I talk to say Juri, but I think C. Viper here. I just think her fighting style is so fun, but difficult to master. That's all I have to say, Viper is very popular and she appeared in the last game. Also SPOILERS she appears in a character's story in SFV,SPOILERS-END so it's very likely she'll return.

Shadowgeist

No Caption Provided

I lied! Again if I had to take a boss from EX it would be Garuda hands down. But I won't sleep on this guy. He is also pretty cool, and has an awesome design. He's probably the most unlikely of these characters, but here's hoping.

Guest Characters

Vice

No Caption Provided

Vice is my favorite character from SNK's King of Fighters series. She's a psychopathic grappler, who can slam people and burst blood from their bodies. SNK characters have crossed over with Capcom before. And considering most characters look like normal people(save for some of their wardrobes), they can easily be transferred over to Street Fighter. I don't think Vice is too popular(actually I can't speak to popularity, but considering the amount of characters those games have. she's only appeared in like five, definitely less than half). Because of that, it's unlikely that if an SNK character was included, that it would be hurt. But like I said last time, this is a wishlist, the perfect place for unlikeliness.

Joe Higashi

No Caption Provided

Joe is hands down my second favorite character from KOF. He's a loud, goofy, boisterous, Muay Thai champion. I think he would fit right in with Street Fighter's roster. He kind of acts like Dan sometimes, except he can totally kick a**(though if he came over, he would have to fight Dan. . . also Adon and Sagat.) He could actually be Sagat's rival, as they are both Muay Thai practitioners. And since he isn't a bloodthirsty murderer like Vice, he'd probably transfer the easiest of the two.

Ruby Heart

No Caption Provided

I put guest character because technically she isn't a street fighter character. She's Capcom, but not street fighter. Anyway she was one of my favorite characters from MvC2 and since she didn't surface in MvC3(regular or ultimate), it'd be nice if she could reappear here. Of Capcom properties she has to be the least likely, but maybe fan demand is high. I hope!

Steve Fox

No Caption Provided

I don't know how Steve manages to twist his body like that. Like Joe above, Steve would fit in perfectly with Street Fighter, he is fairly normal and a boxer. If there not bringing either Dudley or Balrog back(though that seems highly unlikely) then maybe the boxer spot can be filled by Steve Fox. He's crossed over with Street Fighter before!

Benimaru

No Caption Provided

He should show up just for the chance for him to hit on Laura(another electric martial artist). He could also argue with Guile(when he is added) about whose hair is better. Oh, and he's also one of my favs.

Terry Bogard

No Caption Provided

If SNK did crossover, Terry would probably be the most likely. He is the face of the franchise, arguably so though. And why not, this guy is awesome! I don't know how he would fit into the story, but he's crossovered with Capcom before. They'll think of something.

Jade

No Caption Provided

Mortal Kombat crossing over with Street Fighter always seemed unlikely. The aesthetics are just too different. In fact MK drastically sets itself from most fighting games. If you don't agree, just look up USFIV character select screen and Mortal Kombat Armageddon's character select screen. . . see what I mean! Anyway, if the skies did open open and this could happen. The characters I would most like to crossover would be Sub-Zer0, Mileena, and/or Jade. I put Jade on the list, because she seems the most likely. Sub-Zer0's freezing power seems like it would clash with SF's system, and Mileena has a monster mouth. So yeah Jade!

Taki

No Caption Provided

Taki is my favorite character from SoulCalibur, and the one I'd want most likely to crossover. Even without her swords, Takis has a multitude of abilities(energy blasts, teleportation, lightning kicks) that could aide her in battle. SF and SC crossover could be possible, and if so hopefully Taki is the chosen character.

Street FIghter V Character Hopefuls

Street FIghter V is already preloaded on my PS4. I'm hyped. And for some reason I wanted to do a blog about the characters I hope come to 5 in the future, with really quick reasons. ISome of these aren't shocking, but I bet most are unlikely. One of the only unlikely characters I've wanted since IV is Rainbow Mika, thankfully she's in the game! And in case someone says it, I know about the legalities between Capcom and Arika.

Makoto

No Caption Provided

What's weird is I never knew about Makoto until I read Street Fighter Legends: Ibuki. And I just loved her character. Then I bout USIV and fell in love with the fighter. I love that she's so cute and yet pounds her opponents so relentlessly. I just think she's adorable, and was my main in Street Fighter IV(I usually wreck shop too!) She is a fairly popular character(definitely one of the most loved SFIII characters.) So yeah, this doesn't seem too farfetched.

Elena

No Caption Provided

Elena is just such a happy and joyous character, and she wrecks shop with only her legs. She was the most requested Super Street FIghter IV character allegedly, so fan demand was high then, hopefully it still is.

Skullomania

No Caption Provided

I haven't played Street Fighter EX since the 4th grade(11 years ago); however, I still remember just about every character that was introduced there. I think they managed to give them a great aesthetic that separated them from other street fighter characters. Skullomania, skull superhero, is fairly popular and he's just insane. He would be a great addition. Though EX characters are extremely unlikely.

Garuda

No Caption Provided

Akuma is a really awesome character. I mean as far as demons go, he's probably one of the most iconic, especially in gaming. However, if I had to choose my favorite demon from Street Fighter it would certainly be Garuda. FIrst of all, it would mean one less Shotoclone in the roster. But also, this MFER here is just the coolest. He's got knives coming out of his body, a bada** mask, and it just awesome. If I had to have one character from EX making it to the Street Fighter 'canon,' it would be him(possibly her?)

Sakura

No Caption Provided

Shotoclones right? Maybe it's because I'm not professional, but I don't feel too much difference amongst most of the shotoclones.Only slight differences. That might be what makes the game so technical, but when it comes to those characters, it can be boring. Only Sakura feels significantly different to me. Sacrificing some power, and giving significant speed. Sakura actually mangages to feel different, and is my favorite of the shotoclones, she's also so cute!

Sharon

No Caption Provided

This was the character I used the most in Street Fighter EX, I don't know why. I guess it's because of her awesome design. The outfit seems beyond impractical, but it just resonates bada** for me! Also the rose and haircut. I remember her being something of a secret agent, which is occupied by VIper now, but she was my favorite character from those games, so I want her.

Pullum

No Caption Provided

If Elena was in the game, Pullum would probably be repetitive. But Elena and Dee Jay were in the same game, and Pullum is as technically different as those two are. I had a lot of fun playing with her in EX. Though even amongst these EX characters, she still seems like a longshot.

Area

No Caption Provided

She's a cute girl with glasses, rocket skates, and a throwable rocket arm! Nuff said.

Nanase

No Caption Provided

She has a Goku power pole! I think I played with her the most after Sharon(mainly because I learned all her special moves), and she was awesome. Bring her back!

GUEST CHARACTERS!

Asura

No Caption Provided

If you've played Asura's wrath, then I think you know why. They already did a crossover. Again I love Akuma, but I rather see this guy in his place. He's already got an insane fighting style, just transfer it over.

Valentine

No Caption Provided

The best character from SkullGirls. Valentine is an a** kicking doctor and scientist who uses medical paraphenelia, to decimate and destroy her opponent. She's just insane with a great theme. I can't think of a reason she'd show up, and she is probably the least likely all of characters on this list, but this is a wish list. And I'd give up half of my requests, to see Valentine in Street Fighter V.

Paul Phoenix

No Caption Provided

Tekken and Street FIghter have already crossed over. Paul seems like the most obvious crossover character in my opinion, and he's my second favorite, so let's do this!

Yoshimitsu

No Caption Provided

My favorite Tekken character. I couldn't say with a straight face that Yoshimitsu(especially this tekken 7 version) fits with the Street Fighter 'aesthetic,' But neither did Necro or Twelve and a lot of others, and those characters aren't nearly as awesome as Yoshimitsu in my opinion. So again, let's do this!

Mega Man/Rock

No Caption Provided

Bad Box Art Mega Man in Street Fighter X Tekken was an okay joke; however, Smash Bros has shown me how fun it is to play with a fully functional Mega Man. He should appear in an official manner in Street Fighter.
