Long ago, before humans evolved upon the planet, when the Earth was young, there was the First Born. Even as today the humans and mutants are the dominant sentient life in the world, so once were the Elves and other fairy creatures. Some greeted the coming primates with cool resignation, shrinking back into the darkest corners of the forests, falling into extended, enchanted sleep, or disguising themselves with glamour to live and die amongst the newcomers, their kinds falling slowly into myth.
But some were dissatisfied. The ancient Elven King had two children. One, Celebriel sought to preserve their peaceful but detached existence, the other, Celebuir desired to reclaim the globe once more for his fantastical kin and punish the people for their destruction of their home. This forced the king to place his son into a magical stasis until such a time he would recant his violent ways. At the death of Anorion, he was released from his prison. He now rallies his forces to exterminate the humans and their genetic offshoots.
Celebuir in the son of a Sun Elf and a Moon Elf giving him the aptitudes and appearance of both. His hair is half white and gold per his moon elf and sun elf lineage respectively. His skin is white while his eyes are golden to approaching orange. He has a twin sister who is quite similar in appearance to him though slightly shorter with lighter colouring about the eyes and mouth, this colouring being ceremonial tattoos to match the carved scars upon their faces. The prince once raided a wyvern nest and stoled one of the eggs. He raised and trained the creature to be his faithful steed.
Blackscale is a wyvern, a dragon-like creature with two bat-like wings and two hind legs. He has a poisonous stinger on its tail, sharp teeth, and raptor-like claws. His scales fade to a lighter grey about his stomach, and his eyes are glowing red. The wyvern is a living weapon as much as it is a form a flying transportation, cunning fighters in their own right capable of remaining undetected in the night sky before making a swoop attack. Their jaws are capable of easily breaking human and elvish bones even some poorer quality or medium armour. Blackscale himself has the advantage of age (being several thousands of years old) which has only increased his strength and abilities. Having died centuries before, Blackscale was brought back as an undead wyvern via necromancy to continue serving his master.
Celebuir's preferred weapon is an enchanted, telescopic lance with the density of steel and the lightness of aluminium. It can be as small as two feet (the actual blade being around seven inches) to extending beyond seven feet. The magic surrounding it allows for it to have an almost regenerative property if it is broken, and it's edge will never dull.
His battle armour is similarly enchanted to not inhibit his agility while maintaining a strength and metallic regeneration that grants optimal protection. His outer cloak is imbued with shadow magic allowing him to move through the darkness and the shadows much like teleportation, making his location difficult to see and predict.
