Motorcycle Mayhem

MOTORCYCLE.-A bicycle driven by a gas engine. There are various types. Single and multi-cylinder engines are used. Late models have four cylinder engine transmission, etc. An objectionable item is the noise of the exhaust and manufacturers are apparently doing nothing to overcome this defect.

-Audels New Electric Science Dictionary, pg. 296, (c)1933, reprinted 1944, Theo. Audel & Co.

For comics, it seems like the motorcycle is almost as popular as the superhero. To me, it's amazing to see how much motorcycles have changed over the years.
