The Prize Fighter's opening salvo proved she wasn't here for games. Standing with her hands folded across her bosom the Ancient Goddess drafted an arrogant smirk across her olive-toned face.
This woman, Zoe, had seemingly won Catalina's heart and mind; she became a distraction. Instead of rising to the challenge of trying to gain the respect of the Goddess within--that's what drew her out.
"You wanna know if I'm hot?"
Zoe asked drawing a curious brow from the cinnamon eyed Prize Fighter, before she could say anything, everything in her line of sight disappeared. A blinding flash from the Fire Goddess was potent enough to send the Goddess reeling backward; which subsequentially caused her defenses to fall. One, maybe two steps backward; and Zoe's fist plowed into her abdomen curling her frame. Shaking off the pain, the Prize Fighter instinctively moved to evade whatever was coming next, however, her lack of eyesight saw her wander into Zoe's reach.
The potent 'Ax-handle' strike immediately drew blood from the fabled Goddess. She couldn't see, but she could feel; feel the heat scorching the local setting. Making an 'X' with her wrist the Prize Fighter constructed a TK shield around herself that'd buffer the full power from Zoe's attack.
The sheer might of the Mighty Fire Goddess was enough to send the Prize Fighter plowing violently through various beach structures on her way to a rough stop. It was hard to figure out what hurts more; her stomach, her chin, or her wrist--she wasn't down.
"Heh" She grunted whilst spitting her blood into the ground, pushing her hands deep into the sand in preparation for returning to a vertical base. She beat Baerda the alien conqueror, Zeon the Cardinal Demoness; there was no way she'd allow herself to lose to Zoe.
Demonstrating her ability to strike from any and everywhere The Catalan Countess teleported to Zoe's right looking to send three consecutive strikes toward Zoe's ribcage, before teleporting to the left side attempting to TK push the Fire Goddess against the momentum if her kicks connected. Lastly, the jealous Goddess sought to repay Zoe's theatrics would a bit of theatrics of her own, pulling a lightning bolt seemingly out of thin air The Prize Fighter pulled back like the mighty Zeus and launched her divine lightning toward Zoe to show she could attack from long range too.
Extending her hands toward the heavens, another beam of lightning struck this time releasing Catalina's Raxius Shield, a shield her mother won by defeating Zoe in the WAL Invitational. "That was...good..." She applauded condescendingly, spitting more blood back into the scorching sand.
23 Hours of Fighting, heavy losses on both sides, all at the Line of ControlIt didn't take long for the Prize Fighter to stabilize the situation on her own. Not adhering to any specific banner she sabotaged operations on both sides until the leaders agreed to a cease-fire.
The Prize Fighter stood in plain clothes watching as the Indian President and President of Pakistan reluctantly engaged in peace talks.
The newly coronated Queen asserted her presence to hasten an olive branch that would penalize both countries should their useless conflict endanger civilians. In all honesty, she didn't know how efficient a forced treaty would be considering these two countries have been indirectly at war since 1947.
"We have come to an agreement" The man spoke his words actually in Indian, but the Prize Fighter's mind automatically processed the words in English. "Good" She responded motioning for the both of them to sign, as both men converge on
the document, she could feel the world around them, all of them, shift. Both men seemingly froze where they stood. The Prize Fighter? gone, now it was just the Queen of the Mazoi, Catalina standing in the Presidental Suite trying to figure out what had happened.
"Under normal circumstances, this would be a victory," A voice said causing the 5'11 Goddess' head to dart in the direction of the voice.
It was the woman that looked like she and her mother, The War Goddess Shira, only she didn't share the voice the Cardinal Scriptures. Shira the War Goddess was said to speak in an ancient language native to the 'Kindom of Bristol' now she was speaking with an Ancient Greek Dialect.
"Mortals live for fighting, it is their truest nature. I cannot allow you to come and disrupt the natural balance. You can't save them because they serve me"
"I don't understand, why are you here? Why are you doing this? What's the purpose?" Cat asked still not understanding what brought the Cardinal War Goddess to the forefront of mortal affairs after all these years.
Shira took a step into the mirror, finally gazing upon the form for which she appeared to Cat. "Ahh, that's right. You're seeing me within the scope of your own religion" Her eyebrows narrowed, the New Queen had come so far and still understood so little.
"I like you, but I need THEM to understand my power. I need them to see I am inevitable" From her back "Shira" blade streamlined straight toward the Mazoi Queen, Cat's TK SHOULD've been able to repel it but it didn't. The blade pierces Cat's abdomen causing the Mazoi Queen to fall backward, blood seeps through her clothes.
"Don't bother trying to heal, you can't. That cut of that blade can only be cured on one island" She informed Cat, as Cat struggled to free herself.
