Team Cerberus

Reality M is a world that is like none we have ever known. It had devolved into complete and utter war. War against the power figures Ziccarra and Alexis and against the 3rd Society, who it was recently discovered had been the ones maneuvering the world into such chaos.

But it was also war against each other. Because the end of times brought about the worst parts of humanity and very often obscured even the most altruistic traits in lieu of plain old-fashioned survival. What were people willing to do to survive in times such as this?

In the midst of a world thrown into such complete and utter chaos and annihilation, a group of protectors and freedom fighters arose. All having unique qualifications, skills, and abilities, they are known simply as Cerberus.

Having abandoned hope in Reality M, they have ventured into another world, one that ran parallel and slightly behind their own in order to protect this world from suffering the same fate, as well as with the hopes of retroactively preventing the destruction of their own world.

Cassidy O'Rourke

Real Name: Cassidy O'Rourke

Alias: Cass, Stochastic Savant, Tech Siren, Stochastic Siren

Height: 5'5"

Weight: 133 lbs

Age: 27

Hair Color: Blonde

Eye Color: Ice blue

Species: Human

Birthplace: Dublin, Ireland (Reality M)

Marital Status: Single

Family: Deceased

Alignment: Hero

Occupation: Tech expert, op-tech, assassin

Cassidy was born to a mother who lived with constant depression and a father who escaped his home life by serving in the Irish Air Corps. When at home, he escaped his home life by drinking, and yelling at his daughter and wife. One night, when Cass was no older than five, her mother up and left without a word of goodbye. It was that night that she learned that love was not always as it seemed and ties could be cut quickly,

Left alone with a father who was only growing angrier and more reckless with his drinking, Cassidy withdrew into herself. She played with her toys and played with the worlds that she built in her head. But mostly, she played with the technology that was all around her. She found her mother's old laptop at the age of seven and immediately began tinkering with an intuitive sense of what she was doing.

When she was nine, her father struck her for the first time. It left a small smattering of bruises across her face and dashed any dreams that she'd ever had. She began spending more time at the base in the company of other pilots and their families in order to be outside of her home as often as possible. Often this meant sleeping over at friend's houses under the guises of playdates.

She became very skilled at learning to hide the marks and also learning how to avoid raising her father's ire entirely. One of her closest friends during this time was Aiden Callahan. Six years her senior he took to her quickly, often entertaining her by bringing her new pieces of technology to fool around with.

When she was thirteen years old and had begun developing, her father flew into a fit of rage one evening. It was a beating worse than any she'd ever received. It was Lynda Cosgrave, her father's CO, who found her. She hadn't been out and about at the base for over a week and her absence was noted, leading Lynda to perform a house check, only to find Cass sick in bed, injured and with a fever.

From that point forward, it was all the pilots on the base who essentially raised Cassidy, giving truth to the old adage 'it takes a village to raise a child.'

When she was a young adult, the entire world changed as the entirety of it erupted into war. War against Ziccarra and Alexis, war against each other. War against everything.

At the age of twenty-one, an attack on the base left mass casualties. Aircraft were doing a flyover and dropped artillery. It was a distraction as much as anything, intended to disable to aircraft and to strand key pilots at the base. During this attack, Cassidy's father was passed out drunk on the couch. As she, and all others on base, fled, she checked in at their living quarters to find him unconscious on the couch.

Hellfire was raining down and the world was ending once again. And in that moment, with the now-healed injures she'd accrued over the years aching in her bones, she made the decision to leave him without attempting to rouse him and clear him out of the house as it burned down around him.

She spent nearly a year working for what was left of the Unified Resistance Factions, which had now adapted into something different altogether in order to fight the 3rd Society. She quickly rose in the ranks of their techsperts, crafting new weapons and specifically defenses, and improving old ones. It was Cassidy who discovered how to track the signals of their opponents and preemptively strike at their locations. She spent a year developing defenses and shields as well as routing out double agents within them before she ran into Aiden Callahan, who at this point had become a legend.

She quickly acclimated to their friendship once again, and found herself particularly intrigued by the tech implants that he had. It was then that she was quickly able to suss out just what the defect was with them, and create new enhanced ones that would allow him back onto the field of battle without risking himself and his teammates when the old defective implants overheated.

It was at that point that he approached her about getting a team up and running. This force would come to be known as Cerberus, named after the three-headed hellhound that guarded the Underworld and prevented live souls from entering, and those that had already passed from departing.

Aiden Callahan

Real Name: Aiden Callahan

Alias: Fraga, Archangel, 21st Century Ares, The Mauler, Irish C4, Irish Mauler, King of Dublin, Warpath

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 245 lbs

Age: 33

Hair Color: Raven (Bald)

Eye Color: Hazel

Species: Mutant

Birthplace: Dublin, Ireland

Marital Status: Single

Family: Adam Callahan (Father), Lynda Cosgrave (Mother), Alana Callahan (Sister)

Alignment: Antihero

Occupation: Resistance Commander, Defence Forces Soldier/Lieutenant Colonel (Formerly)

A former soldier of the Defence Forces of Ireland, Aiden, half-brother to renown public persona and secret underground resistance leader, Alana Callahan, was reputed to be a soldier known for getting results by any means necessary. More often than not, he'd make use of an approach of pragmatism, though lacked the extreme vision of his fellow teammates who resorted to killing anyone and anything in their way, be it the target, any witnesses, or even innocent bystanders. He quickly grew disillusioned with the political undertones and shady dealings of the Defence Forces whose main priority seemed securing the defenseless territories of England and Scotland in an attempt to the forge the beginnings of a new empire, presumably one with the firepower to end the war.

It was however, his fellow military personnel's sabotaging of a civilian carrier route in Liverpool, England that saw the massacre of hundreds by the Third Society that strayed him from his position as a Defence Forces soldier. Refusing their reasoning that their actions as saboteurs were calculated attempts at forcing upon the populace in Liverpool the necessity of their presence there as armed supplements to the military force that had failed to prevent the sabotage, which they felt a competent military group would have, Aiden sought to forsake his duties as a soldier and find his purpose in one of the many paramilitary resistance groups prowling the countryside. His departure however, was prevented. He found himself forcibly awarded the rank of Lieutenant colonel in a public ceremony that threatened overwhelming public backlash and scorn should he refuse the honor.

With no choice but to accept lest he wish to be painted into a villain who refused to fight for his country in a world that saw its foundations torn by a global war that sought the eradication of freedom, Aiden found himself imprisoned in an inescapable situation. As a Lieutenant colonel however, he feigned a reborn interest in the Defence Forces' imperialist agenda to ward off suspicion, but then commenced his plotting. Communicating with his overseas sister, Alana, Aiden enlisted her expertise in leaking information and revealed many a detail regarding the Defence Forces' counterproductive objectives to an abundant number of resistance groups, all of which Aiden rallied under him with Alana's help. For months he plotted and made preparations, and then as the resistance groups arrived come night, a war was waged between a force comprised of resistance factions and the corrupt Defence Forces of Ireland.

On the battlefield, Aiden, a Lieutenant colonel, led his battalion of 439 Irish soldiers into a premeditated ambush by the the Unified Resistance Factions that saw the slaughter of over 300 Irish soldiers, and capture of the rest. In what was a crippling blow to the Defence Forces, Aiden officially abandoned his rank as Lieutenant colonel and joined the Unified Resistance Factions in the effort against the corrupt Defence Forces of Ireland. Under Aiden's leadership, the Unified Resistance Factions, with logistical assistance from the local population of Dublin which was exhausted from the Defence Forces' mistreatment, attacked many an enemy military post. As the war spread across Ireland, the Unified Resistance Factions were able to evade pursuit and surveillance by use of classic guerrilla tactics involving ambushing, patrols, the sabotage of communication and travel routes, conducting hit and run attacks against enemy outposts before retreating.

In a war of guerrilla attrition, they proved difficult for the Defence Forces, and during seasons of heavy rain, they were difficult to track by air, negating the Defence Forces' aerial superiority. And armed with lighter equipment, the Unified Resistance Factions enjoyed greater mobility that saw them further overcome the corrupt military forces. Come victory, the Unified Resistance Factions disbanded, though many remained in Ireland to help ward off Third Society attacks while the nation rebuilt and recovered from the war. And though Aiden found his reputation equaling that of the celebrated 'Guardian' Gideon Ames from Manchester, he'd suffered grave war injuries that saw doctors declare his injuries too severe and permanent for a future return to the battlefield. Victorious but left crippled and broken, Aiden found himself grow desperate, and agreed to partake in a procedure that saw the introduction of tech implants that augmented his physiology and rendered him fit to return to the battlefield.

Though as he quickly found out in his encounter with future teammate, Kevin Oa, his cybernetic tech implants while effective and powerful, were prone to overheating and with that came the consequence of crippling migraines that often left him unconscious. Battle after battle, his tech implants would overheat, and the migraines would come in full force. In time however, Aiden was directed by locals to who tales told was Ireland's greatest tech expert, Cassidy O'Rourke. With aid from a team of qualified surgeons, Cassidy replaced Aiden's defective tech implants with newer, more stable ones absent of the migraines the previous ones caused, and with a more efficient cool-down process to return them to functionality should they overheat. With his trust in Cassidy quickly established, Aiden after convincing her to use her talents as part of Cerberus, a resistance faction he was assembling, repaid her services by conditioning her into a competent armed and unarmed fighter. And as they recruited more and more members, Kevin Oa, Gideon Ames, Rosalie etc. they found their bond growing and strengthening as she often acted as his off-field partner, offering him crucial information from the shadows. She was the mind, and he? The sword.

Real Name: Nyssa Kearney

Alias: Violet Violence, Phantom Blade, Death

Height: 5'6"

Weight: 124 lbs

Age: 34

Hair Color: Sable brown

Eye Color: Light brown

Species: Human

Birthplace: County Mayo, Ireland (Reality M)

Marital Status: Single

Family: Deceased

Alignment: Antihero

Occupation: Assassin, Shadow Operative, Resistance Fighter

Nyssa Kearney was born to a first-generation American mother and an Irish father. She spent much of her childhood split between Washington, D.C. and County Limerick, Ireland.

When she was very young specifically designed aptitude tests were able to pick up on her unique ability for problem solving and reasoning. Further physical tests confirmed her quick reactions, unique physicality, and her ability to combine these two spheres of ability into one cohesive unit.

As a teenager she was recruited into an organization known as the Shadow Initiative. It was a group of elite spies and black ops soldiers who worked independently from the United States government and completed their missions with full immunity. It was this training and the weapons and items that she was able to acquire through her job as one of the most notorious assassins in remembered history that put her in the unique position of taking on missions once Ziccarra and Alexis rose to power.

The Shadow Initiative took on mission after mission, all designed to undermine what had become a world power. Things were grim everywhere. Worse in the UK than the US and even worse in Australia, which had been all but razed and burned save for the prisons set up. Funny how what once was becomes so again. What started as a penal colony was reverted to prison camps for mutants and humans alike.

It was on a rescue mission to Australia in order to retrieve a high-value prisoner from one of the camps that the entirety of the Shadow Initiative was taken out in one fell swoop. It was a devastating blow to the entirety of the world's resistance, as it was eleven members of both mutant and human persuasion who were unique qualified in a world that was no longer capable of providing the same kind of training that they had received.

Nyssa was the last one left, and at the age of 27 she doubled down on her mission. She went dark and didn't bother checking in to anybody. Death was left in her wake. Her kills became more conspicuous, there was no longer any doubt that these targets were being taken out by the same person. A swathe of blood was left in her wake as the bodies began piling up.

Eventually, Cassidy O'Rourke implemented a device that allowed her to contact Nyssa, and once doing so managed to persuade her to come in and join the team that she and Aiden Callahan were setting up, a team called Cerberus.

Real Name: Kevin 'KO' Oa

Alias: KO, Super Samoan, Samoan Superman, 21st Century Ares

Height: 6'4"

Weight: 288 lbs

Age: 35

Hair Color: Onyx (Kept Bald)

Eye Color: Chocolate Brown

Species: Human (Enhanced)

Birthplace: Los Angeles, California, United States (Reality M)

Marital Status: Single

Family: Unknown (Presumably Deceased)

Alignment: Antihero

Occupation: Resistance Fighter, Firearms Specialist, Mercenary

A renown resistance fighter muscled to the proportions of an ox, and with arms and legs as thick as trees, Kevin was born in the city of Los Angeles to an American father and Samoan woman. Though much of his history remains undiscovered and beyond recollection, tales tell of a potential past as a mercenary whose herculean frame, streak of battlefield aggression and penchant for shotguns, tales that garnered the attention of a human supremacist organization, 'Athena', behind 'Project Ares'. While masquerading under the guise of an organization whose purpose was to improve the world's chances in the global war fought throughout every corner of Reality-M, Athena's true purpose was to develop the blueprint for the posthuman, a being beyond the standards of the ordinary human, physically, psychologically etc.

Why? In order to bring forth an age of scientifically inspired evolution that would see them grant humanity the powers to finally eclipse those of their mutant cousins. Convinced of Athena's supposed purpose to find methods of physically and mentally aggrandizing soldiers into a new breed of super soldiers to help in the war effort, Kevin, when approached with an offer to be among the first test subjects of Project Ares, showed no hesitance in his acceptance. Restrained, injected, scanned, cut into, Kevin Oa found himself being altered and augmented at the cellular level where synthetic, experimental retroviruses traveled to each of his cells and introduced the genes of some of the greatest warriors of past and present. While forged into a living, breathing Petri dish of the genes of history's most formidable warriors and soldiers, Kevin's memories were dealt a blow. With a Third Society airstrike destroying Athena's base of operations and prematurely terminating Project Ares, Kevin suffered from the effects of the incomplete process.

His memory became fragmented, and his aggression on the battlefield translated into an assertiveness and brashness that turned away all potential employers. He returned to his life as a lone mercenary, one whose reputation spoke of a man too incompatible with the ethics of teamwork. Here and there he went, an aimless thug who killed those that men with money wanted dead. He met Gideon, a future teammate in his travels, and he lived the life of a lone gun until he was recruited into Cerberus by the one man who through an exchange in battle gained his respect, Aiden Callahan.

Age: 30

Hair Color: Brown

Eye Color: Honey brown

Species: Mutant

Birthplace: Madrid, Spain (Reality M)

Maria Guerrero was born to two high-ranking politicians in Spain right before the beginning of the end of the world as it was known. She grew up in the lap of luxury, never knowing hunger or need. From the time that she was three years old, it was evident that she had high ranking telepathic abilities. She would often answer questions before they were asked, and her parents recognized this ability and got her the best training possible.

Tutored by several of the world's foremost telepaths in utmost secrecy, Maria developed her gift and added a focus on how to utilize it while in battle, as well as subtle maneuvers to blur the memories of any people who may have seen her. She was in the middle of her studies as a teenager when the world changed in ways that nobody saw coming.

Ziccarra Liafador and Alexis Pettis turned on the world in order to shape it in their own image, or so everybody believed. It was later discovered that the 3rd Society was the true culprit behind the apocalypse. But that didn't mean anything to the people who were going through it.

Maria was 17 when the world changed forever. Her parents were culled from the population quickly, as they were deemed to be high level threats to toppling the power structure that the Liafador-Pettis rule had created. Left to fend for herself on the streets, Maria was able to thrive better than most, as she utilized her thieving skills along with her telepathic ones.

Now, she is the mental lynchpin of Cerberus. Able to hold mental bridges between any and all team members, as well as a vast variety of other psychic abilities, she plays a key role to the team dynamics.

Gideon Ames

Real Name: Gideon Ames

Alias: Israeli Sniper, Copper Cobra, The Guardian

Height: 6'1"

Weight: 188 lbs

Age: 37

Hair Color: Raven

Eye Color: Hazel

Species: Mutant

Birthplace: Manchester, England (Reality-M)

Marital Status: Single

Family: Kept Private

Alignment: Ideal Hero

Occupation: Resistance Fighter, Marksman, Tzahal Soldier (Formerly)

A former soldier of the Israel Defense Forces who grew tired of all the rules and regulations that his position required, Gideon, an Englishman of roguish appeal and Israeli blood, abandoned his obligations to the Israeli military due to his lack of satisfaction with their unwillingness to favor pragmatism over unnecessary ideals in the fight against the Third Society. A believer that on the battlefield, certain moral beliefs and ethical values serve no practical purpose, and are no more than social fabrications used to hold back the few superior men from victory, Gideon, following a disappointing military campaign in his father's native Israel, made his return to England where he formed a vigilante group, called 'The Shield', consisting of former mercenaries and disillusioned soldiers.

Under his leadership, The Shield began a violent armed effort against the Third Society forces that had reduced the city of Manchester to an apocalyptic shell of what the history books imply was once a grand city of British flair. Combining his mutant power of extraordinary sensory perception with slick marksmanship and a killer instinct that could not be manufactured or conditioned, he quickly grew into the stuff of urban legend in the shanty towns scattered across Manchester. They sang their praises and in his many victories over the Third Society's forces, he was named 'The Guardian' by the people of Manchester. His growing reputation however, effectiveness on the battlefield and superb tactical awareness garnered more and more attention, not from Englishmen, but the Third Society.

Resolving to eliminate a growing threat before it spirals beyond their ability to destroy, the Third Society embarked on a campaign that saw a congested horde of their forces overrun the city of Manchester, slaughtering any and everything that moved in an attempt to crush The Shield and this Guardian. Warned of a coming horde of enemy forces by a traveling mercenary by the name of Kevin Oa, Gideon poured his sweat, blood and tears in convincing both Manchester's citizens and those who fought by him in The Shield. Manchester residents dismissed the rumor of a coming attack as a scare tactic used by men from neighboring cities who sought to drive them out, seize their remaining resources and enjoy the celebrated protection offered by The Shield. And The Shield themselves? They'd grown cocky.

Overconfident and drunk from their seemingly endless streak of victories. Time and time again they'd defeated the Third Society's forces whenever they'd come. Surely Gideon did not doubt they could do so again? Refusing to leave, they remained in the city, confident in yet another victory. Gideon's heart sank that day, and as he left Manchester, left England for Ireland, his world went gray. He remembers boarding the hovercraft he piloted during his departure. Remembers glancing at the window and bearing witness to the first signs of attack, the cloud of smoke that reached high into the sky as the bombs were dropped and screams were heard. It was and always would be the most painful decision he'd made in his life. He'd left not only his teammates to die that day, but with them, he'd left part of his humanity to die as well.

He arrived in Ireland a broken man. His mind told him to continue, reasoned that he'd left The Shield, men and women who'd grown into his family, because he could not die. He had to live to fight for tomorrow. But his heart remained unconvinced. In Ireland, in the streets of Dublin, he drank his sorrows away, hoping to numb the pain of loss with the euphoria of alcohol. Whiskey became his beverage of choice, and day by day he drank himself into a shell of who he once was. But news of The Guardian's arrival in Ireland began to spread. The men and women of Dublin, they anticipated a great figure of urban legend, but found only a drunk whose hope and heart died with The Shield in what was once Manchester, and now a ghost town. Soon however, as the Third Society's attacks increased, struck Dublin with rising fervency, Gideon's sorrow turned to rage. To anger. Anger over the murder of his friends, his family. He armed himself, and as ill-prepared and lacking in fitness as he was, returned to the battlefield.

A mistake that nearly cost him his life. Nearly. For it was the intervention of Aiden Callahan, The Guardian's equivalent in Dublin, a man of urban legend, that spared him his life. He was thankful, Gideon, and Aiden? He was ecstatic. He'd been eager to meet The Guardian. He saw the fire in Gideon's eyes, Aiden. And in Aiden, Gideon saw the man he now owed his life to. He sought to repay him and joined Cerberus where he conditioned himself back to his peak and forged a steely bond with the Callahan, and there found another he'd once met, Kevin Oa, the Super Samoan who would grow into his on-field partner.

Rosalie Devereaux

Real Name: Rosalie Devereaux

Alias: Rosie, Brains, The Baby

Height: 5'2"

Weight: 120 lbs

Age: 19

Hair Color: Honey brown

Eye Color: Hazel

Species: Unknown

Birthplace: New Orleans, Louisiana (Reality M)

Marital Status: Single

Family: Deceased

Alignment: Heroic

Occupation: Team brain, troubleshooter, know-it-all, polymath

Rosalie Devereaux never had the luxury of knowing her parents, at least not as somebody cognizant of the fact. Her last and only memories of them are from when she was three years-old, the year that they were killed by a drunk driver who'd had one too many during Mardi Gras.

There were no relatives on either side who were both willing and able to take her in, and so she became a ward of the state. At the age of five she was adopted by a loving couple, a doctor and her husband, who were able to give her the nurturing and love that she had longed for for so long.

She was given the best education that money could buy, something that was a necessity to her due to her genius level IQ. Her mind was always working, always solving problems, and she was always yearning for more information to devour and process. Rosalie lived a dream life until she was nine years old.

At the age of nine, the political axis of the world shift and every country, whether they wanted to or not, entered war. It was either fight or die, and many unfortunately wound up doing both. Her mother worked as a medic for the Southern Coalition, an army amassed from the forces of the southern states and in collaboration with the United States' armed forces as a whole.

When she was almost ten, her family was deployed to the UK, who were being overtaken quicker than anybody knew what to do with. They were on the ground there for just shy of four months before both of her parents were killed in an attack. Truly with nobody left to care for her, Rosalie took to the streets. She was smart enough and old enough to find her own way. Steal some rations here, some knives there, and she'd built herself a good enough cache to survive for a while.

One day, she made the mistake of attempting to lift a dagger from a hidden cache that she had found in the sanctuary of a church. Believing it to be abandoned, she soon enough found herself caught in a trap set by Nyssa Kearney. It was three hours before the assassin came along and let loose the pre-teen dynamo. From that point forward, Nyssa took Rosalie under her wing. And so when the time came for Cerberus to form and Nyssa to join, Rosalie was brought along as well. It was with Cerberus that Rosalie found a new family of sorts.

Despite what has happened in her past, Rosalia has an effervescent and joyous personality. It's very hard to sadden her and even harder to make her angry. Everybody on Cerberus knows that the way to her heart is through dresses. She has a weakness for that specific piece of apparel, and it's common knowledge that if you manage to offend or upset her, the quickest way to smooth her feelings is with a gift and a genuine apology.

Of course, everybody takes extra pains not to hurt Rosalie. There is very little that every member of Cerberus is able to agree one. But the one universal constant for all of them is that they protect Rosalie at all costs. This drives her crazy, considering her genius intellect and the fact that she's known nineteen. But it's very hard for any of them to see past the girl they've known since she was ten. As the youngest of Cerberus and the adopted sister of Nyssa, she's a priceless member of the team.

Wyatt Pierce

Real Name: Wyatt Pierce

Alias: Doctor Pierce, Doc, The Medic

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 238 lbs

Age: 31

Hair Color: Dark Blonde

Eye Color: Denim Blue

Species: Human

Birthplace: Worcester, Massachusetts, United States (Reality M)

Marital Status: Single

Family: Kayla Jordan Pierce (Mother), Nathaniel Christian Pierce (Father)

Alignment: Ideal Hero

Occupation: Resistance Doctor, Surgeon, MRO (Massachusetts Resistance Ops) Medic (Formerly)

Born and raised in one of the few cities that managed to resist the Third Society's war and remain largely unaffected, Wyatt Pierce was a welcome addition to a family whose members all made their worth known in the medical field. Taught by his parents to believe that a greater service could be done to those suffering in the war by seeking to advance medical science and aspiring to be a doctor as opposed to fighting in the war, Wyatt's military experience and battlefield exposure was absent as was normal for those living in the city of Worcester. With no immediate need or desire to condition himself into a soldier of icy heartlessness, Wyatt grew into a kindhearted man brimming with optimism for a brighter tomorrow.

A naive outlook partially due to his lack of exposure to the war's true horrors. Nurturing his genius by dipping his fingers into the field of genetics, neuroscience etc., Wyatt aspired to, as opposed to simply making his due as a surgeon, become a professor. However, when approached by the MRO (Massachusetts Resistance Ops) one of the many government-sponsored resistance factions in the United States, Wyatt found himself unable to turn down the offered position as their resident medical specialist, his acceptance driven primarily by his intention to realize his parents' vision of helping the war effort not through combat, but by offering his services as a medic to wounded soldiers. While he was offered basic training, he failed to meet the requirements for combat readiness, and for much of his time with the MRO, he conducted research and performed his medical duties, never setting foot on the field.

However, during an emergency mission that saw him boarded onto a hover-carrier that sought to perform an extraction of wounded MRO soldiers from a hectic war-zone, Wyatt found himself, for the first time, exposed to the true nature of war. The irony, pungent smell of blood and rotting corpses, the sight of blood smeared on walls, infrastructure destroys, skies darkened by smoke, city burning, and rampant explosions, things his senses burned deep into his mind. He was stunned and traumatized. He recovered, but then came his second experience on the field, then came the third, and by the fourth, he'd changed. Gone was the naive pacifist who shunned violence. In his place, a consequentialist was born. One who then held the belief that the world provides many a way to help others. Sometimes by healing patients, sometimes by killing dangerous people.

The latter of which he embraced and accomplished through the use of dangerous toxins and the exploitation of his knowledge of biology. Though personable and affable, a man of smiles and kindness, his spirit had now become that of one whose actions were guided by an impersonal logic, often refusing to allow his conscience, personal and emotional connections to cloud his judgement over what he believes is truly best in the grandest sense. And what the amicable and approachable doctor felt was truly best was offering his talents to Cerberus, a resistance faction in Dublin, Ireland where the casualties of war far eclipsed those in the United States.

Weight: 128 lbs

Age: 29

Hair Color: Red

Eye Color: Teal

Species: Mutant

Birthplace: Perth, Australia (Reality M)

Marital Status: Single

Family: Deceased

Alignment: Heroic

Occupation: Team pilot, driver, mechanical engineer

Riley King was on holiday in Ireland when borders of almost every country were shut. She lived there for six months fighting with the resistance against the 3rd Society and eagerly learning everything that she could. Since childhood she had a natural aptitude for engines and the mechanical workings of things. One of her favorite pastimes as a child was taking things apart to figure out how to put them back together.

It was a natural progression for her to begin maintaining the myriad vehicles of the resistance and once she'd stolen them enough times, they began teaching her how to pilot the aircraft and how to maneuver the more complex vehicles, It was a short matter of time for her to rise in the ranks from engineer to pilot and begin taking care of supply drops as well as getaways during hit and run missions against the society. .

On many missions she worked in tandem with her father and brother, who were both pilots out of Australia, one of the UK's closest allies during the war for the world.

One such mission was the rescue and retrieval of Nyssa Kearney, who had managed to infiltrate a council meeting and take out several high-ranking politicians who were working in collusion with Alexis and Ziccarra. Nyssa had fulfilled her mission, but all of her routes out were either unavailable or lead to certain death.

Riley was killed in with a shielded helicraft and managed to pilot almost unsurvivable storm conditions in order to retrieve Nyssa from what was once Paris, France. It was at that point that she was officially invited to join Cerberus.

Since then, she has been in charge of all vehicles and their piloting. She's a hotshot daredevil while driving wheeled vehicles and on drop and grab missions. The only time there's any semblance of smooth sailing with her is when she's piloting a larger aircraft. Other than that, you'd best hold onto your seatbelts and hope that your lunch is settled well.

Despite being a hotshot pilot and daredevil adrenaline junkie, outside of those conditions Riley is laid back and relaxed. The first of the females of the team to grab a beer and settle in for a sport's game, she's become very buddy buddy with the guys, especially with Wyatt. They frequently bet each other over sports outcomes and partner together to play pranks on the more high strung members of the team, specifically Gideon and Kevin.
