Well I most certainly have to go back and take a look now don't I. We know the Iron Fist is strong enough to do damage to Luke and Elektra did ko him albeit under the influnce of a poison. However I do not think this is the only instance where Luke had trouble with her, Jessica has had trouble with her and so has Danny. But I'll definitely go back and take a look before saying anything further.

There's a difference between giving someone trouble and one shotting them. Personally I don't think Luke operates at a durability level where he wouldn't be bothered by someone that can do stuff like this.

I wasn't even aware that we were in disagreement that she uses chi at this point. In Daredevil we never see her use that type of power, it doesn't appear to be brute strength. I think her punching Matt throw a wall and sending him in the air with her attacks, breaking the book shelf is as much implicit as Sonny gliding through the air like he's flying or what he did there to the widow. They don't talk about his chi ability at all but its evident he uses it.

I mean my whole thing is Luke is highly durably, no less so than anyone else. I'm currently not at liberty to argue with you however as I've only been watching Into the Badlands, and don't really care for the Defenders enough to watch. From what I seen, her damage output is enough to hang with Sonny at least, and what she can take left me impressed to say the least. 1. You didn't have to. Seemed pretty implicit to me.

2. Luke has super strength, has had weapons built specifically to screw with his healing and kill him in the past and survived that too, Claire says the guy thinks he's invincible and that's not for no reason. Elektra shouldve been an easy KO for him not the other way around. Instead it was kinda easy for Elektra. I understand the poison made it easy. However that was not the point I was making.

3. Strong defense again all of those things. I would think poison would be among them.

4. Looking at full context this statement was about what Elektra could do Sonny not Luke. Also we've yet to really establish the strength of Sonny yet, he can with stand chi attacks from strong users, but he was still out of commission. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing on Sonny winning this match up just looking to explore all angles is all.

@amcu:Was not aware that Stick poisoned Luke but my point is that she still did, with the use of her chi. Only other person we've seen do that is Danny and his "Iron Fist" chi is supposed to be stronger than anyone elses, that which she also took nearly full force of or am I mistaken on that?

@war_of_light_2814: Does it matter "much less". I think that's taking credit from the feat as well. It should've been much easier for Luke instead of the other way around poison or not, Luke has a strong defense against most of those things. While I agree its not as impressive, it's still quite a feat.

How ever for now I'll side with Elektra due to the fact she koed Luke. Luke has falling from buildings and survived blast from a missle irrc. That's a pretty high end feat of damage output.

Though I'm glad to see it's quite possible Sonny is more durable than that given those were chi shots he was taking. And I think he may have the edge in his skill with those swords.

@amcu: Idk to me it seems a Elektra has some skill with Chi as well as enhanced Durability since Defenders.

She has some very noteable feats in this area, however, I do not know everything that Sonny can produce as he's also dealt with fighters who use attacks similar to this. What I am unsure is how well he fairs with them. As far as reflexes and fighting skill I don't doubt they're about even, Sonny may even be a bit more skilled as a fighter.

I cannot say for sure as I haven't been keeping up since late in "Red Hood & the Outlaws" after Starfires story arc as queen. I don't even know what's going on well since new 52 started.

As far as training. I would like to know more about what Jason actually went through, though I will say I think Matt's being prepared for with the Chaste was interesting too.

I'd like for everyone to understand this in full detail, do you care to elaborate?
