Sure enough the story matched, a fall of all one knew for what they were or might be. A desecration of ones home because it didn't align with someone else's vision. Perhaps some deserved the judgment and ceremonious end others did not however and most not to the extremes taken. Someone sensed war but war was a common occurrence. Sensed it'd be a blight on other worlds but should they even weigh in on the crisis of such worlds? And within any such case was the cost of noncombatants worth it? Casca couldn't see an action of genocide as justifiable by any person against any creature.

Wars always had casualties granted but what'd been done to Typhon was not war, and the hate he felt was something Casca had felt denied. So instead she sheathed her blade a sigh escaping as she looked at the cataclysmic landscape from their fight. "If you're fights looks worse then this or this is done to a city we'll be at it again. Otherwise just find Reynard, it'd be wrong of me to hold you back. That said remarked from one warrior to the other she began floating back to the forrest below planning to use what power she had to try and snuff out the flames and fix the scars on the earth they'd recently made. This fight hadn't been the fatal one she longed for either, that desire to pass on in the embrace of combat still boiled her blood. It also hadn't been the fight that should kill her though she concluded, it lacked the purpose. Leaving Casca as just the nomad like goddess to return to, with any luck the Symarrian would find that peace she couldn't.

The clouds scattered for miles tossed away by a power to rival the highest of gods. Debris cleared, and aircraft had to make adjustments for turbulence. Every once and awhile in the grand radius there was a brief puff of scarlet mist to the air. A sign of birds atomized by kinetic potency. Hurricanes ceased and tides went still under the collision of gods. Or at least beings that while falsely titled such perhaps, could rival such things.

She'd come back full force and struck hard blows shattering armor. It's remains sent like supersonic projectiles briefly ripping through the forest. Trees falling as shards pierced their bark clean, brush caught a flame in the trail it left. She met eyes of hate a face with scars from who knew how many bouts. Markings told a tale, ceremonial rank earned through the contest of wars and battles. She could also sense loss though something gone, and made more so as the armor had shattered. One of the few reminders of what he had been was ravaged like her shield speaking to who she had been.

Then it came consecutive blows to her gut, armor denting under the force. Armor meant to match her shield, to be impervious it wasn't though against him. She could feel the stress on her body it was something she could endure, these strikes were while cataclysmic to surroundings bruising only for her. A blow hit's her chest another goes for the gut and through an exhale and a brief trail of blood to run down her cheek she catches it. Her hand looking to tighten around his, though only able to go so far given her strength would only match.

"We seem born of a similar loss, just with different hate. What did Reynard do?" In the end Casca not long ago had decided she wished to be better then just a champion for some fallen forgotten false gods. That seeking out those responsible for the fall of a godly city wasn't going to get anywhere. She needed to look after earth, and fighting this alien wasn't going to save earth. A crater deeper then it was wide, a forest spotted with raging fires, this wasn't going to result in anything good. "I rather like this rock, I'd rather not break it just cause I had to fight you to the death." Bloodied lips remarked with a smile confident and briefly twirling her sword, lightning dancing along it's trail. Really she had no reason to think she'd win. Her very nature being to try and rival someone not have a clear advantage, there was still a warrior's pride to her though.

The sword edged closer to it's desired point of contact, the eyes to meet it seemed passive to stare on with a expression that knew moments like this all to well. Defiant competition of a man who could it would seem embrace whatever competition that may come. It wasn't possible to read the expression beneath the helm he wore, she had the feeling though it was like her own. Purpose was something proving hard to find, moments like this though where the world screamed in cheers of cataclysmic combat that spark of what one was could be found. With it came the resolution she could he'd been holding back. On the one side she could feel it, her muscles were starting to understand the strength within them and with it came the knowledge of just how apocalyptic this fight could become.

Despite being airborne and some of the force intended to carry through the strike dissipated through the air it wasn't enough. Not even close, and mother earth if such an entity existed likely wept in agony of the action. The forrest became barren in a large area from the force millions of slivers of wood raced into the skies like rain in their quantity. Rocks and stone became powder just pockets of dust upon the monstrous winds. Earth collapsed below them, a crater seemingly exaggerated in size formed with cracks along it's edge seeking to weave ever further outward to expand in size as every strike looked to dig closer to the center of the earth.

Casca was able to catch this and turn her blade just enough that the strike might find it's edge instead. That his fist would find a point over the broad side. She didn't know if it made it all that far into his own person, if it'd carve through his own hand for such an action. All the same the area felt the impact of such strength meeting the weapon. The whip was caught, folding over itself to pull her closer the goddess doing the same on her end aiming to do a simple task of keeping the two in close proximity. Her weapon was blessed to not hurt herself, she knew it matched the inferno from his eyes though and as such could threaten him. Let it stay around their wrists cuffing the two together until hopefully the heat and pressure took his arm away. More strikes came her way though, forceful impacts she could track with her eyes and place her shield before but in the end a futile effort.

Her shield didn't have the kind of bite her sword did, an edge to help surpass whatever met it. And when not bound to such a unique attribute it was just against such strength a hearty shield. For once the instrument had limits, a certain level it could seemingly go to before it found it's end. More dust and atomized side effects, power behind the strikes inflicting war on the planet it seemed by simple meeting of sides. Then it came, sound of a planet snapping, of continents reduced to crumbling like glass. Thunderous in sound the very air seemed to ignite an inferno spawned to kiss the trees. The shield of hers having been destroyed, shards of gold raced through the air, spearing deep into the soil, or cutting trees and stones down in horrifyingly fast projectiles.

The deity crashes into the soil and bounces in a tumble leaving a trail of erupting earth and eventually road. A trail of fire behind her before she manages to slow herself. A scar left as she slowed herself down. Her whip for the time being was gone just a hilt at her hip. Her blade used to help decrease momentum though survived lightning dancing along it's path. No shield left to use and the whip would need time to find the energy it used to recharge. It'd likely just be a contest of strength for the most part now.

That wasn't good, she could match it if a fight called for something unfair though to win. Other unique weapons or powers the goddess was short on options. That being said she flexed her shield arm, a fracture maybe in her wrist where the shield had been over otherwise not to bad though. She could still fight she just didn't know if skill and a good sword was enough to win. She lived to die though, to fight until conflict came to a close or her body lay dead and broken. So cars leaped from the roads, and buildings trembled as Casca leaped into the air and flew to close distance and then upward. Seeking to draw the world breaker into the upper atmosphere, to spare the surroundings of astronomical destructive ability. Only that though, she was more then content to fight this man until death or other heroes came. She just didn't want it to involve the disgusting level of ruins it could lead into.

Rubble and bark was disturbed and thrown about the area with every strike made. A force that even in the air hovering above cliff sides and tree tops rattled the region. Heat blazed past her cheek and briefly painted the clouds of smoke with a vibrant hue. Not before it dragged away a section of her own jaw though. A small pocket of boiling blood and blackened flesh. A decent hole that easily could have become more of one.

A fist comes in, with enough physical might to shatter planets. Enough power behind it to obliterate vessels traversing space in singular hits. The kind of might that would break most anything it came in contact with. But not Casca, her body was designed to adapt to the opponents to fight on their level. Fair skin becoming durable enough to weather attacking and being attacked with such rarely rivaled force. He readied a fist, bring it back and drive it forward as the two fly toward the other to close the distance.

It meets her shield. She feels the strain rocket through her arm and to the shoulder. A slight sting to the joints as the might rattles her figure. Clouds of smoke and ash dash away the concussive force scattering it until thinned to a point of obscurity. The landscape not to far below buckling under the impact. Casca however only makes for another attack of her own.

In the time to move back for another wind up or to ready some other offensive she sought to find the opening to make a counter. Her sword, looked to thrust not unlike a scorpion lashing out with it's tail in a sudden jab. The point of the blade seeking to dig into his right eye and sink into the skull. Lightning danced along the edge and it's path of motion as it always did with a divine and fierce edge. Her whip comes undone, as her shield was drawn closer to her chest dropping the rope to reach her feet and a tap of her foot hits the end. The motion was swift, the only tell really being behind the monstrous might that had the air detonating in a theatric radius with each of their moves.

The whip of hers, radiant and golden burned with a plasma to match the lance of energy that had marked her cheek. The inferno looking to coil around his left leg and begin to burn deeply into his figure. A turn in flight and the goddess looked to rotate behind the world breaker. The whip looking to pull at his leg and hopefully drag it free as she now knew at least his body was only so durable. Granted such durability was far from most anything she'd ever fought. The rotation also came with a flick of the wrist, a rapid strike that looked to separate vertebra of the neck. With a blade casually able to carve through him so far and his own astronomical might Casca ignored the pain radiating through her jaw and looked to remove his head in a fluid motion.

The cut was clean and deep enough it's edges nearly kissed the bone. Blood flowed and sparks danced as the blade traveled quite free. The goddess however found a foe that didn't crumble beneath such a strike, a rare occasion where the wounds were not enough. A hiss accompanied by the crackle of cooking sinew. Cauterizing the wound swiftly and choosing to just continue the fight. That stench and aroma something that played off her spirit. The goddess was destined to die in battle, she didn't think herself as noble as heroes, and she didn't have a nation or people to protect any more. Of all the battle hardened and the bloodthirsty she didn't think to much of herself this however captured her drive.

Her strike sends him into the air, the air cracks like thunder of the speed of it. Brought on by a force that detonated into a thousand fragments. Leaping into the air to take flight against her air bound foe she collides with strikes heading her way. The sonic disturbance of the two meeting mid air creating domes of devastating concusive force. Her shield weathered the blows and during the opening of one thunderous impact and the next the goddess sought to slip through the divide. Her devine weapon in a underhand strike looked to carve upward and separate the arm from the rest of the body. The air racing with electricity a streak of lightning behind the sword swing.

This opened her up however to the additional ability. Burning like suns it escaped the figure's eyes, air grew thin as heat consumed all that it could. The scorching lances would find her immaculate jaw line, they'd travel the contours of her cheek and she had no way of knowing how effective they'd be until it was to late. However well the heat vision would have faired against the armored terror that was how they would against Casca.

An inquiry is the first thing to come her way from the armored figure. Looking for another hero of the world, someone dressed like a grape from what Casca could remember. She couldn't tell what the reason was he looked for such a man, or why he thought China was the place to attack for it. If she had to guess however it was like her, a fight from before demanding a rematch, demanding a payment in blood. And so far nothing had provided away to find possible comfort at breaking someone who'd done oneself another harm. Military was clearing for the fight to be carried out, and the goddess readied for things to escalate she could feel the change in her biology already.

"Never met him and didn't keep eyes on his history so couldn't say." In a way it disappointed her to have said it maybe she should have known him. Maybe when her city fell what she should have done was adapt to seeing other heroes and vigilantes for what she'd lost. Perhaps that was her purpose, to look after others when they got into situations to much for them. After all as her muscles tightened she did know her role in the fields of battle. To be an equalizer, to match speed and terrifying strength in a fight. He comes at her, close the distance and then look to strike her down.

Her shield raises to defend against the punches, earth webs and cracks under the force. Air creates a shockwave that scatters leaves and even knocks down some trees. Fires are snuffed out and blown away while other embers are blown outward to set new fires to the surroundings. Casca only slides a little from the force a inch or two line dug by her heels. "Tell me you're more then just muscle" she countered drawing her short sword down in a arch intended to cut into his knees, her blade with an edge sharp enough to carve an electron away it cared little for resistances it might find in armor or durable skin. Electricity trailed behind it's every motion by simple nature of the edge. She pushed off with her shield, A shield bash aimed for the arms that'd been hammering against it looking to toss him aside with the same amount of strength he could put behind his own fists.

Unlike most however Casca had no way of containing the side effects of her actions. She knew all to well that her movement could become enough to combust the air. That her strength could become something to make the earth tremble. Not wanting to unrepeatable harm to the earth Casca would look to move in for an uppercut looking to plant the shield below the jaw the motion also looking to throw the shield into the air with any luck the edge of her shield and monstrous strength she could use dragging the unknown killer into the skies.

Purpose.

That was what Casca found herself missing in recent months. She fought against an attack at a truck stop. And by stupefying levels of luck it seemed her opposition had gotten away. Before then she'd fought others loosely tied to her past. Such conflict seemed to be a venture heading nowhere though just soldiers and lost figures nothing substantial. She had a desire for a vengeance that couldn't be filled. Meaning she needed another course of action and living, finding that was taxing however. Relationships, pointless. Hobbies, trivial to the side of her that she couldn't escape. Sight seeing and art had been the current attempt of a vice and still to no avail. She could here them behind her, comments and commentary that dug under Casca's skin.

So many wanted to label one thing or the other the finest piece. As if the pinnacle of achievement had been reached by others already. Which perhaps it had been, perhaps there would be no growing beyond a certain point Casca struggled to believe in such a mentality however. In a world as grandiose as the one they walked it seemed impossible to her to think there wasn't room to grow. Her eyes seemed to roll in frustration as another comment came by. A diminishing of work of countless others to sing praise of one. This wasn't filling her need for purpose, the wandering deity turns away.

Chinese food is purchased and attempted to be savored. It seems richer then it otherwise would have been elsewhere. From the people and silly traditions passed down through the family in the small shop ran by a family for generations. Better prepared and better cooked, and coming perhaps even close to perfect, she could see it however. Behind the counter the grandson taking her in she could see beyond that had ideas of how to change a recipe. He was distracted now but Casca felt she could read it off of him, strangling in a praised past. His ideas might have been good, or they could have ruined an otherwise good meal. In either case however the chance to grow was being withheld. Time goes by a crawl of monotony enjoying a meal wasn't a warrior's purpose either.

Stepping outside however she could see it off in the distance a trail of smoke and fire piercing the skyline. Chunks of iron and various parts dashing into the winds looking to rip through the air until they would tear into the forest below. The woman moves into an alley abandoning her clothing of a civilian life unfulfilling to who she was. Didn't matter what came of such fabric either. Stolen, burned, admired by a creepy old Chinese guy it wasn't substantial to her. Focus fell only on the signs that pierced the veil of a cloud line. A situation had come to her, and who would she be if she declined such a call.

A plane crashes and immediately the woman was there on it's arrival. Smoke blossomed into the air, fires raged dancing through the ravaged tree lines and splintered earth. Pieces of the plane were scattered about in a way that suggested likelihood of survivors was probably slim. Another villain racking up a body count for reasons yet unknown but likely to be soon clear. Raven hair snaked through the wind's as the fallen goddess looked on at the figure.

"If it's attention you wanted you have it." Her blade being drawn with a brief song of iron as it was set free. The very edge of the blade seeming to race with electricity in it's trail. For the edge, sharp enough to cut away electrons had a current trailing behind it's every motion.

He's not going offensive flows like a dancer while being evasive. Good technique wood do just fine on probably any standard dance floor. The art of combat wasn't the same performance though. Couldn't just have a light step sometimes it took a stomp. Couldn't just give a posing kick to the air, boot had to find a home. He starts going down so the shield looks to dig into his body, a wide miss from a perfectly timed roll away from the scene. Good moves, it's all evasive though so far let the shield be. Heavy edge burrowed into the street, up the weight heavy as a car nobody here is dragging it out of the road but she can summon it to herself.

Shield down Casca goes for the whip of mars, rope radiant like a star as it blazed of plasma. Good at cooking through armor or through it's heat almost melting off a limb. She throws it a segment behind and good amount forward for the next layered attack. The whip looks to coil around a dancer's wrist, rope it around the warrior's legs one more obvious other subtle pull back and stomp down. Blended together it should if successful pull her opposition in so that her boot can strike below the jaw. Pass or fail the warrior looks to lunge forward. Downward swing goes for the ankles, more likely the jugular if the opponent was downed. The edge of the blade takes electrons from atoms a static charge trailing every swing.

With the jump forward however the whip had been kicked back roped around the handle of the shield as it became light enough for the fallen goddess to move. Her foot that touches the soil after the brief jump forward puts whip back in hand reversing the length of the whip and leading to pulling the whip up and over designed to end the attack with a scorpion tail attack from above. Where the shield came down from above looking to bludgeon the skull of the dancer range of the whip helping craft a guided range attack to coincide with her otherwise melee focused move set.

Finishing with an attempt to simply pull the shield back to her, ready to be caught and used ones more as her defense against whatever her foe might bring to the table. Provided of course he was more then a dancer in the ball room. "Well my advice start doubling down on skill. Faith betrayed me I don't believe it'll favor you for eternity."Apart of the ngods crafted by artificial means and not able to help as the domain fell hope in the value of faith had faded for the fallen goddess dedicated to now finding a cause to die for.

Death on the field of battle was all the fallen goddess longed for, a moment to be freed from existence when all the fighting had gotten the better of her. To die defending others sense those she longed to fight for and defend was gone, she wasn't the strongest deity, and on the level of powers some had she was a joke almost. When placed against others she would match their speed and strength. Against planet shaking gods she could match that Herculean strength. Against love struck outsiders who moved at daunting speeds she rivaled them. The same applied to when she fought a soldier who at least at the time of their fight was just an attractive blonde with a rather large pistol. Matching the opposition met and that alone Casca existed more as a equalizer on the field in most ways then anyone of substantial power. Drawn to the scene she raced through the air with a crack of the sound barrier reaching the destination in no time at all. Heels skidding along asphalt as she approached the chaos that was the truck stop.

Sword rested in one hand carving up the road with little effort, very edge of the blade danced with electricity. Shield was ready of course edge sharp and metal reflecting of divine material. She could feel it though, outside of her armor from what she could tell she was human. Fighting with only the strength and speed that was her own. Always a refreshing course from the greater possibilities.

Cars were flipped and fires burned, people screamed and the panic was palatable. Exit from the vehicle said it all though this man had played a part of what'd transpired. A phone call and fact of survival all she needed to confirm it in her opinion. Course Casca wasn't to interested in sending anyone to the local prison or the like either. Mind set on blood she was on her feet and flipping the sword of hers in hand to be at the ready. "Please tell me you survived on sill rather then luck." The only words she cared to direct the man's way. Pretty face but a villain all the same. Fas as the goddess was concerned only words he was worth was the hope of someone worth fighting and perhaps dying by.

Distance was short, more then enough space to get a few gunshots off likely but not enough room to escape. From what she could tell they were to equal for any ground to be gained in that fashion. Gunfire was the most likely approach to be used, the shield would cover for that a slightly lowered stance to allow the shield to mask as much of herself as possible on approach. Then would of course come her own flurry of attacks, with a sword that could carve electrons from atoms it was a weapon that cared very little for the durability of most if not all foes. Lightning trailed behind it's ever swing looking to shock whatever was struck with the edge.

Her initial swing came at a medium height looking to divide sternum and heart to open the chest in a single lethal slash. The direct follow up was a two pronged attack of shield and sword, intended to come with enough prowess in combat so as to avoid much chance of a counter coming her way mid combo. A thrust of the shield with a step inward looked to pummel ones face, maybe shatter tooth and bone upon collision. Edge of the shield maybe creating fresh gashes and cuts along its motion. At the same time the sword looked to come downward a swipe looking to carve into thighs and knees intended to cripple if not outright amputate the raid participant partially behind the chaos on the roads and truck stop.

"Really, you knew her to. Girl gets around." From the fight that Casca had been through with the woman she wasn't of this caliber. A beauty and very capable fighter, but not the kind of woman who danced with gods. Yet not only had the woman been dating a lightning casting speedster of grandiose power but also apparently this man to. What was next, Supraman? The thought just crazy enough to get a smile from the fallen goddess.

Sighing Casca explained. "The helm of Menhit" she remarked gesturing to the tiara like armament resting on her crown. "It points me in the way of my desires, at the time it was those who played apart in the incident that toppled our home. Those responsible for the fall of gods, sure it was done through unnatural ways and some didn't live up to the task. They were my people though and now a few miles back behind us is the only place that seems to remember them. Kaija played apart in that so eventually I fought her."

As for his advice she mostly agreed, it was a lost cause she had to find another meaning. "We're fallen, theres no legacy to see built just an ending to find. I can't just launch wars for the dead. I'm not looking to live on though." Which led to a turn of the back and a start to walk away from the other deity. Needed to go find something to fight for, someone who could kill her in the valiant art of combat. Just some way for things to come to their end. Although perhaps alternatively she should give thanks to those who helped the few of her people who remained and the few trying to reclaim who they were.
