While you do convincingly make points for the x-men possibly winning, I just can't bring myself to believe that depowered x-men could kill overwhelming numbers of highly trained regular people. My lack of belief in the X-men winning has less to do with facts and more to do with jealousy on my part. I have long been bitter over the fact I have no superpowers, and the idea that the X-men could beat highly trained regular people without their powers is infuriating to me.
The X-men were born with their powers and they learned to use them at the same time they learned to fight. They will be so pathetic without their powers that the agents and ninjas will literally be able to walk up to them and snap necks.

The movie Joker would know he could not kill Spiderman, but that would be okay with him because he was all about creating chaos. He would probably play up the Jameson angle, getting the public to hate spiderman somehow. This would probably put him in contact with Harry Osborn who he would manipulate and make more dangerous. Through Harry the Joker might sniff out Mary Jane. He might even get some of the goblin serum from Harry, and then you would have a Joker who could take on spiderman physically. At the same time he would have taken over all the criminal families and be using their resources to be pulling off criminal activity all over the city to keep spiderman busy. And yes, he would do all this in the 2 day prep time.

If you will remember all I did was put up a two sentence hypothetical about how I thought a battle between these two might very well go. Actually, I don't care what happens to Goku so I don't have much to deal with. Those couple of sentences I wrote regarding Goku making a spirit bomb to satisfy Galactus was just hypothetical speculation on my part. I did not realize that putting it out there would somehow personally affect you. What exactly does Galactus get out of the planets he eats? What exactly is it that Goku takes from all living beings when he creates the spirit bomb? Is it so unreasonable to think that maybe the two things could overlap? Maybe whatever Galactus gets out of eating planets he would also get from a spirit bomb. If this was the case, wouldn't Galactus see the benefit in having Goku act as a herald so he would no longer have to destroy civilizations? I don't know, it's speculation, but I do maintain that it is far from nonsense.
