15-20 years ago it was Wolverine. But since Robert Downey Jr. came along, Iron Man is pretty much the new face of Marvel.

Wolverine = everything but movies

Iron man = movies.

@Timandm: For the last time.... ANNOUNCED NEWS, days ahead of the issue, DOES NOT EQUAL SPOILERS, events that happen in a comic that you wouldn't know without having read it.

.And just because I'm not sure at the point....

No Caption Provided

That is all. And don't worry I'm an expert at avoiding doors. ;-)

@Timandm: First off, the key word you used there was NEWS, not spoiler. There is a big difference and I've stated it like ten times now.

Second off, you seem to have a nack for ignoring half my statements with valid points then patching together other comments, out of context, to try and get it to fit you're point Haven't I asked you not to turn my words around and put words in my mouth before?

Third, if you include the parts of my statements you ignored, yes I said that not all people might not have read the news, I actually said that a while ago, try and keep up. BUT, I also said that people on here have every right to talk about news once it's announced, regardless if you haven't read it yet. Everyone on the plant doesn't have to read it before we can talk about it. Once it's announced as news by credible sources it's fair game and perfectly acceptable to talk about.

We're not talking about an event that you would only know by reading that comic. That would be a spoiler. Something announced ahead of time is not. That's news and the very point of this site and these boards is to talk about comics and the latest news.

The fact that you haven't read it isn't our fault or concern. One last time, you're acting like your the center of the universe. Because you haven't heard an announced piece of news we're not allowed to talk about it until you deem it okay. You see how that looks? You don't see a problem with that?

Bottom line, my point is once news have been announced as fact to the comic community it's, in a way, "common knowledge" and fair to talk and treat it as known news. Especially on a forum made to talk about comics and news regarding them. So if you're the type that doesn't want to hear any news ever this isn't the place for you.

Lastly, yes we're done here. Please don't try and twist my words around again my points are quite clear when you read ALL of what I've had to say.

@Timandm: Ok this is the last I'm going to comment because this is going no where.

First off, no I didn't contradict myself. Not knowing about something doesn't mean learning about it is a spoiler. You're trying to put 2 and 3 together to get 4.

If I haven't heard about the new Pope and someone tells me they didn't spoil it for me. They can't because it is news, all they did was inform me. It's just like the Super Bowel point you tried, and failed to make. Announced news and unknown story plot points hidden in the story are two different things.

If it's the title of the thread or in the thread it doesn't matter, it's still announced news so it's not a spoiler. And this is a comic book site where people come to talk about announced news. If you want to avoid the DC site, and others news sites, then you should probably avoid here too because we have the right to talk about any news that has been recently announced in the industry. That's what the forums are for and you really need to realize that. You said yourself you wouldn't get mad if you read it on DC's site. It should be no different here. This is also a site to find out about comic book news and you have chosen to come here.

I also find it funny your hung up on thread titles when you began this very thread with a completely untrue and misleading statement just to get yourself attention. Not a good way to make your point or sway people to see where you're coming from. Your thread title was actually worse than anything they did with their threads.

If you went to the DC site or not isn't the point. They fact that you don't isn't our problem. Once again you think you're the center of the universe and because you don't go read news that means no one here is allowed to talk about it.

Give me a break with the cover angle. You couldn't figure out he was dying with a big R.I.P? You're grasping at straws again. And no you wouldn't have chosen to see the cover, you kinda can't avoid seeing the cover of a book your about to read. And who would do that anyway?

You also made a choice to go onto a forum where comic book discussion is going on. You should know people are going to be talking about stuff you might not of heard yet if you don't keep up with the news. So if you don't want to know, stay away. It's not our job to pander to you because it's what you want.

If the only way to know about it was to have read the comic you'd have a point. But that was never the intention and when DC decided to announce it early we have every right to talk about it early.

Regardless I've made the point I've wanted to make, if you can't see it that's not going to change.

You take care of yourself.

@theDCkid: The question was what is you favorite Rush song, was it not?

My answer was none and I provided my reasoning being because I'm not a fan of them.

I posted because I was answering your question and I have every right to.

@Timandm: Yes it's possible for people to not know,(I've said that if you weren't paying attention) but it's a public announcement and not their fault if you're not current with the news.

Now for the third time will you answer mine?

I'll ask again. If you happened to read the news on DCs site or another would you get mad at their editors for "spoiling" it for you? Would you write them e-mail and spend as much time complaining to them as you have on here?

And had you picked up the issue without knowing, would you really have not been able to figure it out by looking at the cover?

Did you even read the original post? It looks as if you didn't. I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS. THE PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE PERFECTLY FINE. I have a problem with people giving titles to their THREADS that give away spoilers. It doesn't matter if their was a public announcement. It doesn't matter if it was on the national news or even world wide news. IF it is a recent event then DO NOT put it in the TITLE OF THE THREAD.... There exists a good possibility that many people have not heard or seen the news. Some of them intentionally avoid it. So why should the readers be rude to each other? Why can't they show simple courtesy? I had managed (somehow) to avoid the news about Damian Wayne. I was planning on catching up on all of the Batman Series as I was a few issues behind. And then a couple of knuckle-draggers posted threads entitled, "WAS Damian Wayne the best Robin" and "I already miss Damian Wayne." Once I read those (and I had no choice because that was the title of the thread) I knew what happened.... They argued that EVERYONE IN THE WORLD ABSOLUTELY KNEW what happened to Damian Wayne, therefore, they didn't have to worry about spoilers.

Again, something that has be PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED CAN NOT BE A SPOILER. It is news nothing more. You don't want to hear about the latest comic news stay away from comic sites, don't blame the users of them for wanting to talk about recently announced news. Are are you even reading my posts?

You can't put a spoiler in a thread when it's not a spoiler. It's news its not our job to make sure you have read it before posting. You are not the center of the universe. Again, you don't want to hear comic book news then maybe don't go on sites where people are talking about comic book news. Is that so hard?

And I'm still waiting for the answers to my two questions (for the third time now). Or do you not a response because it proves my point?

Until you do I have nothing more to say as you obviously don't have any real points to make.
