Early Life

Jonathan Hazard

Born in 1978 in Houston, Texas, Jonathan was raised by his military father, David, and his mother, Susan. Because of his father's connection with the military, they moved around a lot which Jonathan adjusted to early in life. When Jonathan was two years old, his brother Mathew was born. Almost immediately, Jonathan began to look after his brother as if it was his responsibility to raise him and take care of him. Both Jonathan and Mathew had to be home schooled by their mother because it was easier with all the moving their father's job made them do.

As Jonathan got older, he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. He had a great sense of respect for his country, and wanted to live his life serving it in the military just like his father. So when Jonathan reached the age of eighteen, he signed up to joined the Army. Due to hard work and determination, Jonathan began to rise through the ranks quickly. While serving at Fort Wainwright in Alaska, Jonathan met Sarah Park. The two quickly fell in love and were married within a few weeks after meeting each other. Sarah didn't mind having to leave Alaska and move around as Jonathan's job required him to do so.

The Monster is Born

Eventually, the Hazards were stationed at Fort Huachuca, AZ where Jonathan was asked to over see a weapons demonstration with his commanding officer, Major Banks. The scientist showed the two soldiers the high tech pieces of equipment that they called, "Manhattan". Hazard was given the gun and ordered by Major Banks to test it out at some long ranged targets. As the gun began to charge up, it started to shake and overheat. Banks and the scientist took cover in a bunker while the gun explode in Jonathan's hands.

Jonathan awoke a few hours later to find himself laying on the ground and soldiers aiming weapons as his head. He stood and and realized that his entire body was covered in some sort of organic metal. As he stood up, one of the soldiers fired which ricocheted off his body and struck another soldier. Soon all the soldiers had began to open fire on Hazard, and with a yell he released a mighty explosion of energy killing everyone in it's radius. Scared and confused he flew away trying to figure out what was going on and why he had these new abilities.

Jonathan came home to find soldiers surrounding his house. Sarah was in the front yard crying and was standing protected by the armed forces. Jonathan landed and tried to talk to her, but she screamed at him calling him a monster. Enraged, Jonathan wiped out the soldiers at his house and flew to a nearby cities where he started his rampage of destruction. Hazard was drunk with power and betrayal, and he was going to take it out on the rest of the world. In the midst of his carnage, Hazard was suddenly beaten down by an invisible hero named, Nobody. Hazard was taken into custody at an unknown facility, but he eventually broke free.

Through the years, Hazard began to ally himself with other so-called villains in hopes to gain from the world what he thought they owed him. He even joined up with a league of villains called the Vine Villains which he remained with for a long while. Eventually the Vine Villains, had a falling out and he joined the ranks of Gambler's Hellfirce Club. There Hazard was given a position of power, but it was never enough to satisfy him, and he was soon arrested and put into custody again.

Captain Hazard...Superhero?

Hazard in Action

During his latest arrest, Hazard was asked by Major Banks to turn over a new leaf to get a free start and he would be released. Tried of sitting in his five by five cell, Hazard agreed to become a "superhero". He joined the ranks of the New Age Outlawz, where he allied himself with those he would once call enemies. For the first time in his life, Hazard wasn't be hounded by the government and found a sense of peace. This new found sense of justice in Hazard would not last though.

Eventually Hazard's powers began to overwhelm him and he snapped. Thinking that he could control the country through force, Hazard stormed Washington, DC where he planned to kill the President and become the most powerful man on Earth. Before he caused any serious damage, Hazard was met in combat by the hero Nobody once again. The two battled it out throughout the city, but in the end, Nobody saw only one way to finally put an end to Hazard's reign of terror. Nobody created an invisible bubble withing Hazard's brain and expanded it. Instantly, Hazard's body went limp, and he was declared dead by authorities.

Rebirth?

Rebirth

Two years had past since Hazard infamous battle and death at the hands of Nobody. Thought dead by the world, Hazard's body was slowly healing while he slept in the grave. One day, while still in his coffin, Hazard finally awoke from his long slumber and dug himself out of his grave. With two years of doing nothing but thinking, Hazard is now more unsure about what he requires out of this life.

Powers

Metallic Armor: Captain Hazard's entire body takes on the form of a organic metal that acts as if it is his normal skin. This metal is highly durable and acts as though it is his natural skin.
Radiation Manipulation: Captain Hazard's body is constantly absorbing radiation from his surroundings and storing it in his body. His body is able to story almost any time of radiation or energy, Hazard is then able to protect this energy from any part of his body as powerful or deadly blast of radiation.
Super Vision: Captain Hazard is able to see in Infrared and X-Ray Vision.
Flight: Captain Hazard is able to at near light speed, though while in the atmosphere he tends to keep it at Supersonic levels.
Superhuman Strength: Hazard is able to life well over one-hundred tons, but the exact amount remains unknown.
