Nothing this week. I think I have only had Marvel pulls two of the last 5 weeks. Used to be anywhere from 3 to 7 books a week I would have from Marvel.

I definitely thought it said 'Marvel Develops New Merchandise for Adult Films' whenever I skimmed through the headlines.

Another fairly small month for me. Only 6 titles right now that have piqued my interest for Feb. After seeing the solicits for all the publishers, it'll be a pretty light month in general.

  • Marvel - 6 books (Uncanny Inhumans, All-New Inhumans, Karnak, Daredevil, Squadron Supreme, Red Wolf)
  • Valiant - 5 books (Bloodshot Reborn, Imperium, Ninjak, Wrath of the Eternal Warrior, X-O Manowar)
  • IDW - 1 book (TMNT)
  • DC - 1 book (Swamp Thing)
  • Image - Nothing. The books I read are not solicited for February (Velvet, Lazarus, Invincible, Southern Bastards)

Invincible

Uncanny Inhumans

I liked Robinson and Kirk together on Fantastic Four so I will probably give this one a try. Never read any of Robinson's DC stuff, but it sounds like this is the type of book that he excels on.

@cap10nate: Val IS older than 3 in Secret Wars... We enter the story 8 years after Doom took control...

She isn't alive at the time though in the Secret Wars world. When Sue is telling Franklin the bedtime story in the last issue she talks about meeting Doom after her father dies (who is part of the Fantastic Four in her reality) and then they get together and presumably had a family sometime after.

There sales hit a all time low and they were cancelled.

The last volume averaged over 32,500 units an issue which is not bad. I think it is more so that the book could be replaced with a title that they want to push like Inhumans without any drop off in numbers. They can then keep the FF title on the shelf until they want to do another round of new releases to get another big bump. The longer they are on the shelf, the bigger the bump whenever they come back without ever losing any revenue because they have comparable properties like the Inhumans in terms of sales potential and a greater upside.

Secret Wars, Southern Bastards, and Imperium are my essentials for the week.

Also picking up Thors and Infinity Gauntlet (not even sure if I read the last two issues yet or not though so I may pass).
