@judasnixon: I read the first 20 issues or so and never got into it as much as most other people and ended up dropping it.

I am excited that Velvet is back but may put off buying it until I have a chance to re read the last arc since it has been released so slowly.

Velvet is back. I might have to actually pick up a book the first time in a few months.

Dan Abnett sure is going to be busy with all these books and the Dark Horse Life and Death books.

I might give that Predator book a try. I've been reading through the AvP books and nearly finished reading through them all.

I agree with what he is saying. I don't see it getting better though for the big 2. As subsidiaries of public companies, the focus is usually on making quarterly figures now as opposed to being ok with a drop in sales to promote long term success.

While there are a bunch of books that I am interested, none of them pull me enough to need to buy them the month they come out. Secret Wars ended up being a perfect jumping off point for me with Marvel. This time last year, I had around 15 monthly Marvel books, but I have completely stopped picking up new issues from them with the end of Secret Wars. I enjoyed the start of Uncanny Inhumans, but it too can wait and be read as a collection some time down the road. I'll probably only be purchasing Marvel books now when they go on their $0.99 sales on Comixology.

New address is blocked by my work.

As for the swearing debate going on above,I like the rule. It's nice to have a little decorum and require people to use other adjectives and adverbs than curses.

Ninjak is my only pull for the week. I'm really cutting back on my weekly reading and reading back collections. Picked up all the GI Joe trades and am really enjoying them so far.

Velvet is my essential. It has been so long since it has been on the stands that I hope I remember what has been going on.

I really enjoyed reading the Infinite comics during Infinity that featured the Silver Surfer. It really does tell a dynamic story.
