War

No.

I’ll try my very best to keep my secret identity by not getting caught. In a Civil War situation I’ll absolutely not fight in any side.

If the situations get too tight I’ll leave temporally the country, and start over. Probably I’ll always keep in mind the idea of coming back, but never in the scenario of working as a government agent. – I’m not an American, but I wouldn’t work full time for my government either or any other as a registered superhero.

If you were superpowered would you?

I do thing the Registration Act would be the more adequate, likely to happen or logical scenario, but I’m convicted that force individuals to register is a wrong course of action – and until someone prove me wrong, I would also comment that it's completely agaisnt everything a good old school superhero represents!

The obvious need of superhero, a Batman, a Spiderman, a Superman, or even an Ironman have nothing to do with power, special abilities or gifted skills – in the end of the day it’s just about taking the decisions that other can’t or won’t take.  It’s about using their personal experiences to do the greater good.  Usually this will come with a great selflessness and a deep respect for live.

Does that sound like a description of any government you know? – Political organization attracts corruption.

But one man, woman or a small group can stand “clean”, fight their “inner demons” and in the end of the day, do the right thing.

Just thing about this one thing:

You can explain anything you want to one person, because the human being is rational, but you hardly can explain the simplest things to a crowd, because a mob is irrational.

The outcome of superheroes working for the government is equal to the spies for example: the spy receives an order to go and kill this one person, or whatever, and he does it. – he can probably destroy the person who was to cure the cancer, but how cares? If his corrupted boss is being pay by some rich pharmaceutics company who cares right? Orders are orders and superheroes are made to obey!!!

I just wanted to end with something I saw on the initiative that was simply disgusting to me, Cloud 9 was saving a mother and girl, and the girl was really excited, and then her mother says something like: “don’t you see this isn’t fun for Cloud 9, this is her job”. – Her job? Saving lives is just a job?  It's just like my job? Or it’s just like a job like an Accounting?

The Story of History

"What are you doing?"

“What are you doing?” – I recall this question, since I can remember myself.  – My mother, in particularly is asking me this question for a long time.

I not like she can’t see what I’m doing or that she is unable to comprehend what I’m doing. This is one of those questions. You ask what, when you really want to know why! – And don’t try to explain this to your mother when she asks you “what are you doing?” – really, believe me that would not make things any better.

“Why?” is the really true question?

But when people ask you “why” just tell them when and how.

Tell them where it all began.

Man of Tomorow
Man of Tomorow
For instance if I was to tell the Comic’s History I wouldn’t stat in the previous century.  Neither in the Egyptian art, or in any other classic/pre-classic civilizations. – I would go straight to the cradle.

I’ll go to that night were a man felt that words weren’t just enough, and so  he use colors and forms , painted on a wall – and those mans gathered around that fire initiate something.

And so thousands years past – when nobody ever had heard of that man and History had forgotten all his words, and even his language – the images were there. They’re still there and haven’t failed that man, and they haven’t failed us either. Even death was unable to erase his thoughts – and those people, fathers of everyone who ever was – couldn’t see it, but what they set off that night, never stopped, and it still grows today.

Because under all those stars… they dreamt. What they saw, how knows? But it must have been just as amazing as dreaming about man over populate earth, built towns, cities, empires, travel over so far lands, oceans, skies and even stars!

Only some remembered those dreams, only a few hold on to those dreams. But those “impossible” dreams let to the invention of the wheel, the agriculture, the mathematic, the writing, the science itself. Those dreams are the foundations of cities, entire cultures and civilizations! Those dreams build Today and dreams will build Tomorrow.

We ComicViners, we fellow readers, collectors and fans in general, we and all the writers, penciler and inkers – we who dare to dream – we hold Tomorrow’s.

So if somebody asks you “why?” why do you read comics, you tell that person that the yesterday’s dreamers built Today and the today’s dreamers will build Tomorrow.

And who knows fellow ComicViners in so many years from now on maybe some flying men will came to Earth to enjoy some summer vacations, and read about what the 21 century people called a website, and maybe, maybe they’ll read about me and you, in the ComicVine’s forums.

For DC Universe fans...

World's Finest
World's Finest

... probably the current Trinity's story arc.
At least I would really like to see it on TV.  - It's also cool because it involves the rest of DC Universe.

I even think people who know a little bit about Superman, Batman or Wonderwoman would like it. Maybe it would even attract some people back to comics.

And Supergirl's series, by the way. -  Kara II - Personally I would like very much to see on TV. - I really enjoy the last plot to save Thomas, the cancer kid. I like to see her deal with what paper should she perform in earth, I think many would relate to her struggle to find her place - and not be just the "Superman's cousin"...

friends and who else wants to know

I don't hide it.
Altough I don't talk about it with everybody. My friends and most people I known in my live don't like comics, or simply never was interested in try it.

Power Set

My power set:

  1. Flight (at super speed)
  2. Technopathy (connect, interact and control with anything technologic, in a very vast area, like from earth control any satellite)
  3. Telekinesis
  4. Force Shield (to protect me - or anyone else with me - on super speed flight and to space travel)
  5. Dimensional Travel (if I’m dreaming about superpowers I want to visit other realities, like the DC, Marvel or Star Wars Universes! )

These powers would be alright!
