While that thing was analyzing him, Cadmus was doing his own analysis, her skin seemed to rip easier than it would normally, Catalina never would have been harmed by an explosion of that size. The infected also still had some semblance of battle strategy though clearly not as much as the uninfected host had possessed before. While he couldn't smell the rotten blood he could see it...and while gross it wasn't the craziest thing he had seen nor the goriest. But he had already concocted his plan, all he needed was Catalina's blood.

Which he now had in spades collected on his sword.

While quite unfazed by the situation going on between the two cousins what did unsettle Cadmus was the stare that it was giving him, unreal feral rage as its body fell apart around it staining the city below, by now the citizens would have seen the fighting and would begin clearing the area to avoid any collateral damage leaving Cadmus to be able to think independently without having to worry about them.

I have only one chance to take her in without harming her he thought, scowling slightly at the lightning that tore through the air

While the fact that its body repaired itself pissed him off beyond any end he realized this as a good thing. If he could immobilize her he could get her back to Ashley Knightfall and further see if they could cure her. But if he couldn't....he would have no choice but to go only for the kill, Cadmus' fighting style was meant for assassination, and he doubted any conventional means of immobilizing her would have any effect.

His eyes narrowed as he saw her hand drifted up and he internally cursed as he realized that he was within her telekinetic range. His body was yanked like a puppet on a string as he flew towards Catalina's corpse though Cadmus had enough time to see the blades of her sword flying at him.

Damn

Using the momentum of his own flight abilities Cadmus would twist his body in a circle allowing the Godslayer to intercept the petals before they could strike his armor, he had no idea if that blade could pierce his uniform and he wasn't' keen at all to find out.

Cadmus watched Cat's sword fall from her hands and act independently which could only mean that she was about to close the range between them for some attack, which turns out to be correct because suddenly Catalina's right at his left, taking this as his moment Cadmus would swing his sword once again as the TK blast sent Cadmus blasting like a missile away from her.

The sword stroke was masterful, his technique prestine, but he wasn't actually aiming to kill the monster with that slice...he just needed a means to transport the nerve gas he had made out of Catalina's blood that had been attached to his sword. After he had swung the blade the thickened blood would instantly explode into a brilliant white gaseous substance that attempted to shoot it's way through her nose and into her brain where it would then wreak havoc on her nervous system and hopefully eventually shut it down.

While not a typical weapon Nerve Gas was a tool of complete biological warfare able to do destructive things to ones body and this is what Cadmus aimed to use to stop Catalina, the gas was made out of her own biological stucture using her chemical makeup as a base to try and bypass any immunities she might have, after he had seen that striking her heart had no effect other than pissing her off he knew that he would have to go for her brain. Because without a functioning brain the virus couldn't move much less infect others.

She really is a funking zombie.

If she had still not fallen then Cadmus would sigh and shake his head, The kill it is. Don't look up bastard. He would have to keep her distracted long enough for him to enact the final part of his idea.

But If Cat had fallen victim to the gas a wounded Cadmus would begin floating towards her with his sword at the ready and a gun in his spare hand, his armor torn in several places and the Promethium scurrying to heal his bleeding arms. He would prod her body with the Godslayer and then it's unbreakable material would wrap itself around her holding her still.

@catalina_liafador:

Pretty much *LOL* so the blades flying from the Godslayer were supposed to distract you from the Promethium rod which appeared near your ribcage which is angled to go through your heart

I didn't like much about the New 52, but Deathstroke definitely was not an L that DC took during that time.

The beasts inhuman scream solidified Cadmus' resolve, this thing wasn't his cousin, nor was it a subject of his mercy, The Godslayer hummed brightly in his grip with its golden brilliance shining in the Fall air empowering the Twilight Assassin. A switch turned off in the Assassin as he looked at the monster inhabiting Catalina's body, his posture grew strong, his hand tightened as he observed, his body adapted as he stared. Cadmus' body was the pinnacle of perfection and while he couldn't mimic her abilities his body shifted in strength to allow him to go toe to toe with her. The change wouldn't last forever just until the battle was over and then his body would revert back to its base stats.

His feet clung to the roof of his plane as thunder began to clap with the force of mountains above him, and soon she was right in front of him, eyes glowing white with feral intensity, lightning beginning to shoot from the sky clouding his view of her and turning the infected goddess into a Spectre of Divine Death. His plane weaved through the first few blasts but as expected was struck by one of her bolts which tore through the wing-like paper. Raising his arm Cadmus caught another one of the electric projectiles on the Godslayer and slashed it away redirecting it into the open air.

His plane was going to go down and he knew it couldn't sustain flight any longer.

And so he jumped.

And with the Godslayer he flew.

The Twilight Assassin pushed towards Cat following her to the city, if it was a fight the beast wanted then it would get that fight, but Cadmus couldn't allow the infection to spread even in the slightest which gave him two options: Keep the fight in the air, or Relocate to another area. But before he could do either of those things he first had to get Catalinas' attention on him fully.

As the duo dove towards the city Cadmus' arms would reach his sides as he torpedoed directly besides Cat, and with a shift of his hand the air directly beneath her would turn explosive as the air particles turned into tiny, compact microscopic bombs which blew with enough force to level a building. While the blast was powerful it wasn't meant to harm her which Cadmus knew it wouldn't, his goal was to get her back up. Using the updraft of the explosion combined with the Virus' own downward momentum Cadmus aimed to throw her up, up and away from the city and the people below where he would then cease going down and fly up after her.

Wasting no time Cadmus would instantly go on the offensive, maneuvering in the air as he would on the ground, in less time then an eyeblink the Twilight Assassin's blade would slash through the air toward Cat's head with murderous intent, his wrist twisted shifting the location towards her neck looking to decapitate her with but one strike.

If unsuccessful the Godslayer would split apart from the hilt and lash out towards the infection as if it had a mind of its own, enclosing her in a 360-degree circle with Cadmus once again manipulating the world around him to suit his needs. If the infection looked it would be greeted by a 3-foot long shaft of promethium attempting to puncture it's way through her ribcage and through her heart.

@feral_nova:

Oop, guess we're about to find out if Cadmus was right in getting the name Godslayer 0_0

My only wish is if I lose that Zeon gets my sword and kills evil Cat with it.
