i totally agree!!!was venom being passed to mac gargan a good idea?NOOO!!!such is the same with this situation!the villians that we loved were awesome cause of every reason they were created.to pass it on somebody else & call it the same thing is like saying a mc donalds cheeseburber is the same a real chessebuger.its just not.& all that it is,is a quick fix to satisfy the masses.venom isn't venom without brock & carnage isnt carnage without cassidy.the writers should've came up with a more clever idea.whats next iron man without tony stark?or wolverine without logan?FAIL!
HANDS DOWN THE JOKER!!! think about it.a hero is only as good as his nemesis,and nobody (AND I MEAN NOBODY!!!!) dose it better than the joker.that why batman is so freakin awesome!!!plus,batman and joker are two sides of the same coin.batman-scarred (mentally) by watching the murder of his parents thus becoming batman who seeks justice at just about any cost,& the pursuit of protecting the innocent.joker-scarred (physically & mentally) thus seeking vengence ON the innocent & batman.and what makes joker better than all other villians,is he dosent play by the rules.what i mean is,normal villians are always trying to just kill the heroes.lex just wants superman outta the picture,magneto will try to kill the x-men if they get in his way.but the joker DOSEN'T want to kill batman,he wants to brake him.thats why he destroys everyone who could possibly be close to him.he blew up jason todd,paralyzed barbara gordon then mentally tortured jim gordon only to kill his wife later.hell in the hush story arc,clayface disguises himself as a resurected jason todd & the only reason the joker was down was cause it would screw with batman's head!!!thats why he wont kill him,& its probably the reason he dosent want to know batman' real identity,which i think he already does.he wants to turn batman into what he,and the rest of the rogues are,a killer.& he will destroy,maim,mutilate everyone AROUND batman just to get him to do it.having a blast the whole while!lmao!know thats evil!!!!
personally,i would't call ledger the "definitive joker".granted his performance was stupendous,but,without the great dialogue & script written whos to say how good the ENTIRE movie would've been.& though it is EXTREMELY UNFORTUNATE (i am being sincere) that there wont be a joker in the 3rd movie,i agree with nolan.it takes something away from a series of films when a major charachter's actor is replaced.even more so in nolan's gotham city.it would totally suck if gary oldman,micheal caine or morgan freeman didnt return to play their just as iconic roles.look at tim burton's batman films,the first 2 were GREAT!!!!!but then directors & leading men changed in each film & we were left with one of ,IF NOT THE,worst film EVER! im speaking of "Batman & Robin".really the worst ever???THE WORST MOVIE EEEEEVVVVVVEEERRRR!!!!!!!!! right next to "The Village".there are ALOT of rumors around the internet bout the riddler being the next villian,but i dunno,as much as love the "batmaniverse" the riddler was one of my least favorite villians.i'd love to see black mask,he would totally be perfect for nolan's gotham!!!seeing nolan tackle killer croc would be interesting too.im almost positive there gonna throw catwoman in there now that rachel is dead.bane could also work the way the story is set up too!
