@richard_stank: you probably know this, but the 90s 411 page is kind of like a "How to Live Like the 90s" website.

@jake_fury: if you like alternative 90s music I'm willing to bet your local rock station has that on there (if you didn't find out before) :)

@mimisalome: Another great part of the former half of the century: Wartime Christmas looks great. The music sounding aristocratic and a balance of modernity and old-fashioned formality.

@johncena69swag: Poverty is the easiest way for that lol Unless you're talking about widespread, then just find some poor Southern town. More people (still not a lot) dress up so it'll be hot, poor, and easier for moonshine; maybe even bootlegged too!

@indomitableregal: Thank you, this is more convenient. I always recommend living like your preferred time period. You don't have to be crazy obsessed or perfect, I would think that living the nostalgia brings self-satisfaction.

@spareheadone: you're welcome, I hope you find what you're looking for and I sometimes think being a fanatic of a certain time period makes life more worth living.

SpareHeadOne- I don't know if it makes you more sad for not being alive for it, but it happens to me, I'm a late '90s baby and I only wish for the past. What makes me feel a little better is when i find new releases or artists that make actual old sounds (vintage) as opposed to a mix of new and old (retro) cuz it's still around. If you like early 60s, there's plenty of surf rock made in late 90s and 2000s, and a much more rare find: would be mid to late 60s pop made today.

Wilkiins17- Women did indeed have more respect and freedom (a good balance) back then. I'm not for woman abuse (despite my avatar) but I would agree than not a lot of people "know their place" nowadays.

IndomitableRegal- In this scenario, yes, people behaved with the same attitudes . The only hard part would be the attitudes, but nostalgia is a powerful thing so if the media is on board with this, this can be achieved. Possibly there will be a time with 90s revival.

Penguindust- There were a few news articles I recently found (sadly forgotten) about wanting to honor the 1920s for the 2020s, it was definitely a much simpler time, and with more classy people.

Lan_Fan- If you're nostalgic for the early 2000s, it was like the 90s but if it's later 2000s, it's a bit easier to go back, history has a habit of repeating itself, albeit unpredictable, 2020s might go back to 2000s because it is the closest time to bring back.

If I repeated myself, I'm sorry I thought I might have deleted the last post
