@broo1232 Forever Evil and Infinity were fantastic. Darkseid was amazing also but it felt a little bit rushed you should've gotten the 2D covers much better and cheaper.

@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: 3 out of 5 of the covers I got were 3D I planned to only get a few, as I'd rather be cheaper, and buy more than with a 3D cover, but my comic shop wasn't going to get restocks for weeks because they were sold out of almost all of them, but from now on they should be 2D. Forever evil was good, but I liked Infinity more, as Forever evil was more setup. Agree Darkseid was rushed, but should have been double sized or two issues.

That's good. I was either going to get Darkseid in 2D or 3D but realized how stupid the 3D thing was and went with the 2D cover. I thought both were amazing but Forever Evil should've been longer like how Infinity #1 was. Agreed it should've been double sized at least 40 pages or more. to add more story and development and not jump around as much and able to explore that whole plot with Superman overall though it was very good but the art dipped in quality for about the second half of the book. Pak seems to be building to a big Superman story though I noticed some hints about it in Darkseid and I hope it continues in Zod, Doomsday and in his ongoing titles Batman/Superman and Action Comics.

@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: I think for the valuable ones (joker, Darkseid) I got a 3D and also those look better than some of the others. I agree on that, but it was at least a few pages more than a normal comic. I agree as that book basically did his origin for half and then just sped up skipping through Darkseid killing hundreds of Supermen ,and there should have been more detail on it, as well as the bit with Highfather, and Kaiyo. He is, and I think it does continue in Zod judging from the preview, and what Pak has said in the past in interviews, but I don't know about Doomsday as I thought he was going to be in Superma/Wonder woman, but Pak may use him as well knowing his long term planning.

Yeah. Agreed like Justice League. Yeah well Zod will be the main villain in Superman/Wonder Woman but Pak has said multiple times that there is a connection between Zod, Doomsday and Darkseid. So just because SM/WW are using Zod and Doomsday right now doesn't mean Pak won't in the future. The preview for Zod was great can't wait for the issue i'm so glad that Pak is writing 3 of my favourite DC villains and doing them as much justice as he can because his characterization and depiction of power levels for Darkseid were spot on.

@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: I know he can use them at some point, but I think it might be a while before Doomsday appears, as he's not the sort of villain that I'd expect to be going on in two series at a time that haven't got a connection with the story in some other place. (say a crossover of sorts) I'm happy as well, and can't wait for Doomsday especially, but I really just wanted Darkseid as I feel like he'd be best at writing him. I felt Darkseid was even more powerful if you think about it, as he was able to kill of the Superman without help although in some cases he got some of his minions to do it, but maybe that's just me, and I haven't actually read that much Darkseid overall.

Yeah. Well Darkseid has always been extremely powerful but after Crisis on Infinite Earth's he suffered the same problem as Superman and got a massive depower. Although they both became more powerful overtime they were always portrayed as equals. Where as Pre Crisis and New 52 Darkseid are superior to Pre Crisis Superman and New 52 Superman.

I've never read crisis on Infinite earths, but I'll take your word for it, but I always thought the reason (in my opinion) Darkseid could do so much was he had all of his minions on Apokolips (steppenwolf), as he hasn't killed all of the supermen by himself, although he can hold his own against Superman, I think mainly that was because Darkseid caught Superman by surprise.

@johnkmccubbin91: Deadshot changes his origin slightly from what it originally was, but it's the best villains month issue I've read so far just beating Darkseid, and there are some really clever moments in the book as well. Poison Ivy is interesting as well, retelling her origin, and the art's good as well, it's not the best as in the present she's not really doing much, but it does setup a lot of interesting plotlines with her.

Darkseid can handle Superman alone he killed most alone. There were only some that he used all his minions in. Earth 2 Superman was pretty powerful though. Darkseid could easily beat Superman alone but he has better things to do. I hope he comes back soon though in the present and has a rematch with Superman and see how drastically his power levels have changed.

Thanks. I was considering getting Deadshot straight away but wanted to hold off just in case it wasn't good. I did however hear that there was a small change to his origin. I wasn't initially going to get Poison Ivy as I was sceptical on the creative team, but I've not heard a bad thing about it, so I may get that and Deadshot, but I'll probably wait till villains month is finished now to make sure I can afford what's still to come. Thanks for the advice though : )

No problem, but given the choice get Deadshot, as that's the best one I've read :)

That wasn't shown as it skipped through most of that, but he probably did kill most of them. I know he was, but in Earth 2 compared to the New 52 main universe there had been a long war with the forces of Apokolips, and I think they came down harder on that Earth as he saw it more as a threat compared to the younger version of Superman. I hope so too, as that would be interesting.

@broo1232: Kaiyo said he killed them (most of them anyways). Yeah of course the heroes were more experienced and powerful most notably Superman. Yeah it would also be a pretty good fight to see.

@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: Missed that, but then a lot of things were dropped quite quickly in that issue. I agree on that, so maybe Darkseid underestimated the normal earth thinking it would be easier to do take down, since they were younger. It would.

Yeah. Exactly but he wasn't expecting them to be as deadly and reckless as they were. Yep.
