Tbh, i don't even know why people bring up the world engine feat. We don't know how heavy it was and the fact that it was increasing gravity seems like a non factor when you consider that superman's flight ability allows him to defy gravity.

Imo it was mostly a flight feat, not a strength feat.

Flash freezing a nuke......wow......that's why I don't read a lot of Marvel stuff right there.

Outside of Punisher, Ghost Rider, Elektra, Thunderbolts (current), Deadpool, Spider-Man, some Wolverine, and a little Hulk :D

It's not that far fetched, bobby's power allows him to decrease thermal energy at a molecular level, his power is a lot more... well, idk if believable is the right word, but it's definitely not as ridiculous as a nuke going off and the flash transporting a few million people to safety before before it can kill them.

It's the speed at which all of that happens. That Flash feat was Wally who can lend speed. It makes way more sense than freezing the blast of a nuke.

Whether you believe it makes more sense or not is your business, it's all subjective. But lets not try to act like dc doesn't publish their own fair share of ridiculous feats.

Superman

"Superman can't be hurt by that".

"What about the time where he was hurt by that"?

:"blah blah blah, i'm gonna totally disregard that and talk about how he benched the planet and consistently fights at ftl speed even though he doesn't".

"okay ... well what about this"?

"We have no way of knowing that would work on his kryptonian physiology".

"What about the time it did work"?

"Ftl combat speed"

" lol. Whatever, i got you now though, superman is totally vulnerable to this"

"A comic came out yesterday that totally invalidates that".

Dude, you lost any semblance of credibility the moment you decided to post a scan from AvX.

@cosmicallyaware1, thought you might want to get in on this after reading your CaV with Kidman. It looks like Colossus is getting wrecked right now and could use some support.

Thanks for the tag, I didn't know this was happening!!!!!!

Now, as far as how I would vote??? Hmmmmmm. I initially want to say X-O due to versatility, but the more I think about it, colossus has the durability to stand up to most of what Aric's putting out

and the real question then is can Aric/X-O armor take what Peter can dish out??? I am familiar with X-O and have the majority of Valiant stuff from 90's. Can't recall any serious high end feats specifically tanking damage from somebody that's in the 90-100 tonner range. But I could be wrong.......

So all in all I would put my vote up for Colossus here

Actually, back during messiah complex a nimrod sentinel calculated Petey's strength and had him at 750 tons, i don't know about Xo's capabilities, so i won't vote yet, but it seems like colossus has him severely out gunned in the strength department.

@oldnightcrawler: I am suprised with the direction of Cyclops character. He supposed to be goody 2 shoes, a good guy. Not the a person who treat people badly. Some of decisions he made has been horrible. I mean let the Avengers beat Cable to death, was the worst thing I ever seem him do.

  1. I think the writers unwittingly developed cyclops into a hero with the most organic character progression out of any comic book.
  2. Cyclops is still a good guy, but m-day forced him to go to a place that he never wanted to go, he saw that Xaviers' methods weren't going to cut it in the current environment and that forced him to take a hardline stance. Again... very organic, we don't know who we really are or what we're capable of until we get put in a position where we're forced to act, especially when it comes to defending our loved ones.
  3. Character decisions are subjective, I've read much of what was published after m-day to present, but i never once had a wtf cyclops? moment. It all seemed like a logical progression.

@brokenspear: You're ignoring the fact that Macklemore's statements are totally legitimate. Why does it matter if he's white? He's mainstream and putting that appeal to good use. Would you have a problem if it were Yasin Bey?He clearly was not referring to Talib or Lupe or IT (maybe a little, since IT uses "f*ggot" every other sentence). I don't think anyone can disagree that a large percentage of American culture, doesn't adhere to his message.

Fixed that last part for you.

  1. It seems that you think i have a problem with macklemore expressing his opinion; that is not the case, it's more about the social implications of a popular white entertainer criticizing a negative aspect of black music and the impact it has on the culture.
  2. I don't wanna talk about this dude anymore, lets do this thread a favor and drop the subject.
