Sue storm is the linchpin to this thing, MM has been bested by weaker foes than the fantastic four, if you want to say MM can overcome them, thats fine, but the FF could but up a good fight. MM would not be able to phase through sue storms force fields, human torch is a master of MM's weaknesses. F4 wins but with the loss of richards, the thing, and a nova blasted Human Torch
J'onn J'onzz, the Martian Manhunter is almost literally a one man Fantastic Four. Like Reed Richards he has the superhuman ability to elasticize his body, he is super strong like the thing, he can fly and shoot fire like the human torch, and he can essentially disapeer like sue storm (though in a physical rather than visual sense). Too pit him against the fantastic four seems like a bit of a curbstomp . . . but there are several factors that should give the Fantastic Four several intagibles, mostly due to their history. The Fantastic Four have often battled a single enemy that had all of their powers in a composite. Super Skrull is the most obvious example, and though he is vastly weaker than the Martian ManHunter, he is a good example of the F4 working as a team to defeat someone much stronger than them individually.
A few Parameters
1. Martian Manhunter is much stronger than the thing. 2. Reed Richards has better Control over his elasticity than does the Martian Manhunter, But Martian Manhunter's shape shifting abilities far exceed Richards. 3. The Human Torche's Flames are equal to the Heat Vision of Martian Manhunter. When close the Human Torches Flame is Heavier, The Martian Manhunter's flame has far better range. 4. The Invisible Woman can sense and uncloak an invisible Martian Manhunter, block his telekenisis, and block density changes . . . but only with extreme focus. Any of these tasks could only be done for a short interval and would exhaust her powers.
Is the Fantastic Four able to outsmart Martian Manhunter?
