I have to report a minor problem with the video player: after pausing the clip for more than a minute or so, the sound disappears and only refreshing the page brings it back. I double checked if the problem was with my browser and/or the installed flash player, but everything seems to be okay on my side.
Dropped the show forever. It's not that they betray the source material. What bothers me is they keep the annoying characters alive and degrade the decent ones into being annoying or they just simply kill them off. Am I supposed to cheer for the zombies all of a sudden? F*ck this sh*t.
It's hilarious how Lori is devolved into an inept idiot. Furthermore no sign of Tyreese on the horizon. The show is like a bad parody of a redneck's wet dream, where only southern white men can be competent in any way.
Since Kirkman's zombies are much easier to handle under constant freezing-point, I would say Russia and Scandinavian nations would most likely have a fair amount of survivors. Same goes for every remote and isolated region with the opportunity of agriculture and stock-raising, maybe fishing (plateaus, islands, coves, etc.)
China Miéville is one of my favourite authors ever and furthermore, he is the flagship writer of the New Weird movement.
On the other hand, I'm almost crying because of O.M.A.C.s cancellation. It was so much fun... And Blackhawks started to get really interesting too. Why can't they keep previous titles anyway?
We don't want DC becoming post-2004 Marvel where every issue is a part of an event or a continuing crossover. We want individual and self-contained story arcs with occasional crossovers done well - quality over quantity.
