@monsterstomp:

Of course Ronda can beat Floyd. Ronda is most likely the most skilled martial artist in the world right now. She could beat Floyd or John Cena barely trying. How does her godlike skill apply to Cena though?

This is a pretty silly argument. Anyone who thinks it's easy to tackle a trained fighter even if the person can only throw a punch is retarded. We are also saying this is a street fight situation, Floyd's gloves are off. The size difference is almost non-existent in this match up, due to Floyd's punching power and accuracy greatly exceeding John Cena's and even if they were even and Cena could somehow throw a punch with the striking power of a world class boxer, he'd still be outclassed due to Floyd's defense, and counter striking.

If somehow John Cena managed to tackle Floyd without running into a fist and breaking his nose, or him simply casually side stepping the tackle. On the ground isn't a guaranteed win for either of them. It's a street fight, which makes it a 50/50 coin toss. John Cena will probably go for ground and pounds he is an actor and is relying on brute force always. But if Floyd felt threatened and I'm just assuming that since he is in his own fighting circle. That he would attempt proper self defense. Like shoving his fingers into Cena's eyes, and forcing him off of him.

Over all I'd say it's 9-1 match up in Floyd's favor, John Cena needs a miracle to pull this win off, unless he has some actual training that we don't know about. And I actually like John Cena way more than Floyd. But I'm also more realistic. If you've ever trained in proper self defense or martial arts before. And after you've sparred enough times you'll figure out that brute force alone won't help you in a fight if you've got no technique to back it up.

I don't know much about G.I. zombie, the art looks a little generic looking on some of the characters in my opinion as well. However it looks like the writing is pretty good. I might just have to check this out!

I'll just say while I don't really have much of an opinion on round 1, Round 2 Saber stomps solo, she then proceeds to defeat Goku, and Superman free because they can't even touch her. Avalon = Plot Hax.

@shenkuei:

Thanks I'll be honest I don't know a ton about current Lizard. But I know that Scarlet likes head shots, especially with his stingers if they are above average strength level. I have very little doubt that he could land them on the Lizard. If Peter was able to do so with regular punches, even if they didn't faze him.

I don't think Spider Sense is a big factor in this fight at least not to me, I doubt the Lizard would be hiding, and Scarlet Spider is quite fast when he wants to be, not taking any damage from a room full of thugs with guns, and knives on numerous occasions with nothing but his speed should be proof of that. This battle will probably end very quickly. I can't see it being drawn out at all. Scarlet and the Lizard rush in, and go for the kill. One of them dies, or gets knocked out asap, if not both of them at the same time.

I'll say this is a 5/5 match up, too close to call. But that's my take on it. I don't go by he doesn't have feats showing this. To me that makes the situation irrelevant. He doesn't have feats showing he can, but he doesn't have feats showing he can't either.

I've got a question for the Viners who are more knowledgeable about The Lizard, and about this fight in general. Can the Lizard survive attacks like this?

Let's say if Kaine was to aim for the brain. Also is The Other version of Kaine allowed to enter this fight, or is that form considered a different character?

One of the main attacks with Katana is a thrust. It's long range, and it's ability to obscure it's length makes it effective. But yes it does have the best cutting power out of all of the different swords. However you better be extremely skilled with a Katana to go against a heavy blade like a Claymore. If you don't block properly it will bend or crack your blade.

Over all it depends on the situation, but a katana is well rounded, it looks cool, and can cut up a human with little effort. Also it may just be me, but sword fights also seem cooler with katanas at least within movies and media instead of western styled swords.

I liked both quite a bit, I actually never noticed that Spider-man didn't throw a punch in The Animated Series. The more you know, I was more interested in the characters, and story arcs. I love the show and still do. Yes even with some of the cheesy dialogue, and the reused animation. I still think it's very good. And I can't really say it's nostalgia if I've watched it recently.

I've also seen Spectacular another great Spidey cartoon that ended way too soon to be replaced with that garbage Ultimate Spider Man. I think it's an unfair comparison in a way. If The Animated Series came out the same time as Spectacular. I strongly believe that The Animated Series would blow it out of the water. However being newer it has the better action scenes, and better animation, even if I prefer the old series style better. It also had a bigger budget so they didn't have to reuse footage.

But they both were truly amazing in their own way, and no one should be upset on who won imo. The only thing we should be upset on, is there isn't a good current spidey show :(
