Whether you like the casting or the costumes this concept of comparing the two is just so cool. The people at Empire who came up with this deserve a raise.
All this hate. Honestly one of my favorite Superman stories is "New Krypton" and just about all the stories surrounding it. I don't care that it blows up, I personally think its cool to see this society that was always talked about. A few episodes could be about all the different guilds, and how the labor guild is mistreated. Explore their religion, their weaponry, etc.
What was the point of 300? They all died, am I right?
Agreed.
Wish DC would release a New Krypton omnibus already.
Wow, Marvel fanboys are being salty on the truth that their movies are way too non serious.
Funny given how salty DC fanboys have been about the reception of BvS. Going as far as accusing Disney of paying for negative reviews.
Good thing DC Comics has hired Jonathan Hickman to write for them. My money is on him writing the Justice League. I hope if and when the time comes that Zack Snyder will take notes on how to tell a serious superhero story properly.
@abdullahzubair: MOS featured a boring and brooding hope-guy,not my Superman. Marvel.s Daredevil respects the source material and shows a love for the comics.
Man Of Steel also respected the source material....Before you reply, you should check what respecting the source material means...It means paying homage and relating to the original material yet offering something completely new and not a complete copy of the original material.... And that boring and brooding hope-guy added new layers and dimensions to a fairly same-same guy in comics...
In this case MoS respected Richard Donner's Superman and Superman 2. Originally Jor-El did not wear the S-symbol, but a planet resembling Saturn in appearance.
Let's not kid ourselves, MoS made Superman into a dull Jesus character, just like Bryan Singer's Superman Returns. That has nothing to do with the source material.
