@werst9: It is going to be very hard to do a live action Boy Scout Superman because they have tried that and already failed a la Superman Returns. It had everything in for classic superman, in the vein of donner films and was even liked among critics but it failed spectacularly. Now there is no 'no way' there can be Boy Scout Superman story but its slim at best

Superman Returns wasn't the boyscout Superman. It was Emoman who pined for Krypton so much he left Lois and his son. A deadbeat dad who spied Lois like a creep. You had cringy Jesus metaphors and--wait a minute!

It's as if Zack Snyder made this version of Emoman too, only with a lot more action. Both Singer and Snyder took Donner's Superman and made it dark, instead of retelling the story like Christopher Nolan did with his Dark Knight trilogy.

If Warner Brothers hires a good writer/director team and take their influences from All-Star Superman and do it right, then the boyscout Superman will work. If they made it a modern version of the science fiction silver age (basically All-Star Superman) it would be a smash hit.

Wonder Woman looks great! Made me more hyped for it than for Justice League.

I was one of the doubters of Gal Gadot but in the footage she certainly looks the part. I like her accent too.

That close-up of Wonder Woman's boots on the battlefield. Those looked perfect, really like the material and colors used. Colorful yet there's that certain grit to it. Not too cartoony. In the grand scheme of things it's just a detail but stuff like that adds up, creating a whole.

The jokes in WW were also better, not too forced as opposed to the League where Barry felt cringy at times.

Looking forward to the movie.

Why is Marvel so obsessed with teens ?? Why is Marvel so obsessed in having their most iconic heroes replaced ??

This is why I don“t buy anything from Marvel anymore, their cheap gimmicks are tiresome, honestly I hope their sales are horrible in the next year and they just go back to making good stories instead of cheap gimmicks.

I think Marvel wants to get a new generation while they are young.

Why do I like The Fix? There isn't a likable character in it. Same with Unfollow.

Characters don't have to be likable, they have to be compelling. That's how I feel about Manhattan Projects and East of West.

Light or dark, if the writing isn't up to snuff it won't matter.

I'm kinda surprised because what's considered male cancer doesn't get the attention female cancers do.

Agreed.

Men are expected to just walk it off, lol.

I like the name, I like the Tron look and the fact his origin is tied to the Inhumans whilst still being a new character. Count me in.

Speaking of, what happened to Thane? What's he been up to? Comic book limbo?

People wanting Tom Welling for the part need to understand the man doesn't wanna be Superman. He played Clark Kent for 10 years only because the producers promised it wasn't going to be a Superman show. And it wasn't. We barely saw him in costume in the series finale and I believe even that was just awkward headshots/CGI suit.

The best moments in this issue come from the art of David Marquez, with Justin Ponsor on colors.

Yeah. Without it it would be 1-star or 0-star. Whole issue in two panels.

How anybody would stand for Iron Man side after this is very big question.

I think I'll be skipping Civil War II now...

Is it too late to get Jonathan Hickman back?
