Name: Originally a line of alien product code, which was quickly forgotten.
Nickname: Blip (he named himself after the noises his ship's tracking system makes...).
Alignment: His own curiosity, entertainment, and safety.
Personality: He carries a childlike demeanor and a sense of adventure and wonder, despite being fairly fearful and shy to new and scary things. Despite this, he is still very intelligent and can learn new things incredibly fast thanks to his artificially designed brain.
Likes: Adventuring, experimenting with new objects, creating devices and playthings, and any sorts of sugary treats.
Dislikes: Danger and/or pain, big scary things, loud noises, most meats.
Species: Bio-engineered humanoid, the host DNA is of indeterminate origin.
Age: By Earth years he'd be 11.
Height: Only 3'4.ft.
Weight: Less than 35lbs.
Assets and Weaponry:
While he may not be physically impressive by any means, Blip is well trained and well versed in alien tactics and technology. In addition to this, he has weak psionic abilities; although he can't read or control minds, he can affect other beings in a variety of ways (mostly inducing certain emotions, such as fear) and can block out some amount of mental attacks. This might not be enough on it's own to make it in space and on Earth, but his alien tech might help level the playing field for him.
- Weaponry and Ground Gear- When off his ship, Blip brings very few spare supplies unless he knows he's going into a fight... he doesn't want to leave much evidence around for either people or other aliens to find out about his existence. He usually only brings a plasma pistol, a personal shielding device, and a single plasma grenade.
- Flying Saucer- As cliche as it may seem, Blip does indeed fly around in a flying saucer... it is a class of experimentation and exploratory ship used by his empire to take note of inhabited worlds, Earth included. It has basic shielding and plasma weaponry, cloaking devices to keep it from being detected, and plenty of built-in systems for practical and entertainment purposes. It is perfectly capable of space travel and runs efficiently off of biological fuel of all kinds.
- Clones- One of the most useful and interesting machines aboard his ship are the cloning systems. Intended to create quick as easy replacements for the aliens' forces on the go, they can be used to grow several varieties of species found in the empire, the most efficiently produced of these being bio-clones like Blip. Thanks to the "engineered obedience" his overlords mastered, he ensures all these clones will serve him effectively if needed.
- Clicker- Named after the noises it makes, Clicker is a alien animal Blip adopted while escaping his overlords. It was originally intended to be trained as an attack dog, but is now Blip's affectionate companion. It is physically stronger than a human being and it's claws are strong enough to tear through concrete, which helps it climb buildings when exploring with Blip. When he needs to get somewhere fast on the ground, Blip will sometimes ride Clicker around.
- Drones, Bots, and Mechs- Meant for remote surveillance and defense, or even as heavy ground forces, these robots make up the most dangerous parts of Blip's arsenal. They come in many forms, from small repair drones to cloaked surveillance bots and even large tank-like mechs, but unlike his clones these are of limited supply. He tries to only use these if he finds it absolutely necessary, as repairing them would take months with the technology he currently possesses.
- Mech Suit- During his escape, he activated a mech to help fight his way through any forces in his way, and it did... until it was blasted out of commission. Instead of wasting time repairing the complicated AI, he redesigned the mech as a suit he can manually control. He prefers using it over mechs as he has more control and knows more about it's capabilities.
A genetic mishap, an adventure across the stars...
Blip's story is a strange and fantastical one, that likely wouldn't have happened had it not been for a mishap in the lab. Allow me to start at the beginning! Blip was to be one of millions of perfect genetic clones, in service to a greater alien empire you see, intended only to be a laborer and potentially an expendable soldier. However, something went wrong for him specifically... the aliens were very particular in their selection of genes, picking ones that would ensure that their clones were not only mostly capable physically but also intelligent and obedient. Most of them were essentially flesh robots... but not Blip.
The most minuscule of genes were left out of his design, and it lead to his "ascension" above his fellow troops; where they simply learned, Blip began to think. What is my purpose? Why are we all being herded around like cattle? Why am I the only one who seems confused by all of this? These questions and many more began popping up in his huge cranium, designed purely to house facts and knowledge but now creating his own thoughts and ideas, and soon enough his overlords began taking note of it. They spoke of destroying him like defective merchandise right in front of him, not believing he could understand their words, and on that same day he planned and enacted his escape.
Making use of his perfectly engineered brain to quickly formulate his strategy; he started by creating a clone to replace him in his formation during the early morning, so the overlords wouldn't suspect his disappearance. Considering behavior was down to genetic design with his fellow clones, it was fairly easy to create a replacement. Then, while training and learning sessions were happening, he snuck away and, to cause further distraction, released a few rabid beasties the empire had caged to be trained as attack dogs of sorts... he took a baby one with him, however, because he thought it was cute. While the chaos was occurring and no one suspected a mere clone of being the cause, Blip stole a ship and launched in whatever coordinates it was planned to go for... when he awoke from a quick cryogenic sleep, he looked out his window and saw a pretty blue planet that the systems referred to as "Earth".
