The sequel to my version of Dark Phoenix. Following the defeat of Mister Sinister and his subsequent retreat into the shadows, the X-Men find themselves divided when Jean's growing powers lead to more tragedy, and things are complicated by the arrival of the Shi'ar Empire, a group of aliens led by the enigmatic Lilandra, who seek the power of the Phoenix Force to restore their homeworld.
