@rudygiuliani: citing a cartoon example isn't much to go on. those movies have their own continuity. in the comics it's been established that Dick Grayson can hold his own against Bruce (I think he has even beaten him once or twice). Batgirl Cassandra Cain has beaten BAtman I think.
But Batman has trained them. He should be capable of defeating them. So I don't see the problem.
Back in 1987 The Justice League was relaunched. Guy Gardner Green Lantern wanted to take over as the boss of the group. Batman got on his nerves. Eventually he challenged Batman, took his ring off and launched at him. Batman knocked him out with one punch.
Batman's one punch knockout of Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Superman Fighting Doomsday to the death, Captain America shot dead, Magneto seeping out Wolverine's adamantium through his pores, The Fantastic Four meet Galactus... comics is full of amazing moments.
So the challenge is this: Do a pin-up illustration of your favorite comic book storyline moment. There must be a moment you cherish, you remember, that it affected you. So do a poster of it! It can be superheroes, manga, horror... anything you saw in comics.
@yejj: That’s fine, but do you care if Superman comics get retconned, and turn Superman into some quippy idiot antihero who has dances for no reason? If you say you’re a big Superman fan, I’d imagine you do care.
