Hello, all of you! This shocking surprise is also fittingly my last post ever on Comicvine, and everything I say here also applies to Animevice, right down to me not posting there anymore, either, though it's posted here on comicvine. My battles today were both for posting fun battles and a countdown to this post. What is the shocking surprise, you ask? Why, I'll tell you. Although I have enjoyed Comicvine a great deal and although I do thank everyone who ever participated in my threads, battle or otherwise, and/or gave me praise and encouragement, here's the thing. You know how it seems like I've been following Marvel and DC to this day, like most people on this site have? Well, I actually have not been picking up any new issues from Marvel since April 2004, nor any new issues from DC since October 2003. ALL THIS TIME, since I first posted here, I've been pretending to keep up with any further stories just so my battles and other threads would not turn out in a way I didn't want or expect them to. My claiming to have read such things was all a facade. All a lie. All pretending. Faking it, you might say. Shocking, isn't it? Well, it's true, and I've been this way for one VERY simple reason...not only could I tell from those dates on that Marvel and DC were only gonna destroy their respective continuities and shit all over characters like the assholes they are, but they proved me to be a genius to think this, given how both of the big two have butchered continuity far beyond repair in every way. As such, I have declared any issues published by DC after October 2003 and any issues published by Marvel after April 2004 to be nothing but discontinuity. Piss-poor fanfiction below the worst and stupidest of online fanfiction. Sorry excuses for comic stories published by a bunch of jerks to like to make their fanfiction "canon" and turn the DC and Marvel universes into Hell-Verses. The real big two ended on the dates I mentioned, and anything after that never happened in TRUE canon, and was in another universe entirely. Hell, the reason for DC's cowardly reboot, which has only made things worse, was that sales were tanking because many fans were of a similar standing to me, and like me, have not picked up a single new issue of DC Comics since, even now. And the fact Marvel's sales are tanking so badly as well(hell, remember how issues used to cost 1.99? Well, now it's been raised to 3.99. Shows how low the sales are plummeting, along with quite a few other factors that prove the same thing. As such, I have utterly disregarded all stories of DC past October 2003 and all stories of Marvel past April 2004. In fact, I say that these stories did not happen on New Earth, nor on Earth 616. They happened on Earth-S, the "S" meaning SHITHOLE! And I'll have you know some people have made their discontinuities go as far back as 2000 or even 1992, so you can tell I'm being pretty fucking generous making mine where I do, especially since I only do so to balance out bad writing of the past that went along with the good stories. So, as you can see, all this time, I have seen the end of the REAL, ACTUAL CANON, FOR TRUE FANS Marvel Universe and DC Universe to end at their respective early 21st century dates I posted, and with sales as low as they are and the audience shrinking along with the comic book industry's respect and reputation, I know there are WAY more than a few people who agree with me, even if there are some variations. The fact I loved going to Border's Books, but because of shit like those rotten so called creators(who are actually bullies and scumbags who focus much more on themselves and the fact they like to piss people off and ruin their favorite characters/stories than continuity and how the fans feel)have made, and some other crap, too, it went bankrupt, only adds to how much I stick to my guns here. Marvel and DC are the comic industry's two biggest losers, and with the exception of me posting on sites like this, they lost me LOOOOOONG ago, and I have bought not ONE issue of what I call their discontinuity/lowlife fanfiction excuses for stories. And so, to wrap this long post up(sorry it's so long, but there was a lot to cover), I am well aware that I could risk being banned with talk like this. But whether I'm banned from this site or not, I'm logging off for good, seriously and for real this time, either way. After all, I've posted as much as I want to on this site, and I just want to view from now on. Look at scans and such. Maybe even read a thread from time to time. But I'm always gonna treat discontinuity like discontinuity and thus that it never happened, and especially since, when it gets down to it, it didn't, what with all the ruptured logic and contuinity wrecking beyond any hope of being fixed and the like. Therefore, this is the final post I will ever post on comicvine, and no more animevice, either. Animevice may have been fun, too, and I may thank everyone who participated in my threads there, but if I'm quitting comicvine this severely and seriously, I might as well include animevice in it. Now that I'm finished, you can read, reply and discuss this shocking surprise I just revealed to you all you want, but it will have to be in my absence, for I have just crossed myself out in full, at least in the sense of being logged into this site. Farewell, everyone, and all who replied to my threads and/or commended me? Thank you very much, and it's a shame it had to come to this. But it did. I feel so very sorry for anyone who's read DC past 2003 or Marvel past 2004, and for how they're soon gonna notice it never really happened and was just a hand me down, discontinuity piece of trash disguised as a comic book story but really a bad fanfic in a whole different and worse world. Such disappointment and emptiness they'll feel. And even if they don't notice, it will be no less true at all. Which is quite tragic. I pity them so, indeed. Such a waste of time and money. I wish they would spare themselves the pain and upset of it all. Famous last words, you might call these. Certainly my last words as a poster on this site, that's for sure.

This is both my last battle today, and the second to last part of a countdown to a shocking surprise I have for all of comicvine, and also all of animevice, but it's posted here on comicvine. Anyway, see General Discussion for this surprise, but in the meantime, for my last of battles, I'm having characters from other franchises who are, IMO, counterparts of the X-Woman known as Rogue. Granted, some may disagree with my connections, or at least some of them, while others may think they are good, or at least some of them are, and so on. But either way, these are Rogue counterparts in my eyes. So whether you agree or not, please just focus on the fights I list, while I accept your opinion whether it differs from mine or not. In all fights, no prep and morals apply, and they all take place in rural Mississipi, for obvious reasons. Here are the battles... Huntress(DC Comics, pre-reboot, post-crisis)VS Vitani(The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride) Asuka Kazama(Tekken)VS Colleen(Road Rovers) Chun-Li(Street Fighter)VS Tigress(Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2) Pixie(Monster Rancher Anime)VS Blackarachnia(Beast Wars Transformers, original Beast Wars form, in robot mode) Renamon(Digimon Tamers)VS Hermione Granger(Harry Potter) Jasmine(Disney's Aladdin Trilogy)VS Esmeralda(Disney's The Hunchback Of Notre Dame) List the outcomes individually and in the order above, please!

Two different rounds, two different fights! In Round 1, Diego from the Ice Age Trilogy fights Baloo from Disney's The Jungle Book 1 and 2. No prep and morals apply, and the fight takes place in a snowy jungle. Who will win this round? The brawny saber or the obese bear? And in Round 2, Mirage from the Aladdin cartoon series(1994-1995)takes on Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare On Elm Street. There is no prep, morals are off and bloodlust is on, with the fight taking place in a mixture of Egypt and dreamland(for obvious reasons) and being to the death. So, who wins this round? The feline femme fatale or the nightmarish fiend?

That's right! The Fantastic Four take on their DC Universe(pre-reboot, post-crisis)counterparts! In this fight, no prep and morals apply for both sides, and the fight takes place on the roof of a comic book store. Here are the exact battles... Mister Fantastic VS Plastic Man Invisible Woman VS Invisible Kid(yes, he's a young boy, but his powers and the first part of his codename make him qualify) Human Torch VS Fire(I know she's a woman, but she's still a fiery fire hero who can fly, so it works) Thing VS Blok List the outcomes individually and in the order above, please!

Early 90's Disney villain VS late 90's Disney villain! Gaston from 1991's Beauty And The Beast takes on Shan Yu from 1998's Mulan! No prep or morals, and both get all their respective powers, weapons, skills, abilities, etc. Bloodlust is on and the fight is to the death, taking place in a mixture of France and Mongolia, for obvious reasons. Who will win? The French hunter or the Mongolian conqueror?

Two sexy 90's Disney princesses from a similar region of the world(Middle East and Greece), though from different times(12th Century for Jasmine and B.C. times for Megara)go at it! Jasmine from Aladdin 1-3 takes on Megara, or Meg, from Hercules! No prep and morals apply, and the fight takes place in the Roman Colleseum. Who will win? She who debuted in 1992 or she who debuted in 1997?

I mean, think about it. Yes, she's a devout Catholic, and yes, she's a loyal comrade. But despite that and being a heroine, let's face it. Under that faithfulness and religious piety, she has more than her share of vices and moments of less-than-kind behavior. For instance, there have been times when she lashes out at others, even her comrades, and loses her temper, which seems to be quite short. Having been damaged so badly by her prick of a father, it should be no surprise she seems much angrier than the average devout Catholic, not to mention angrier than the average heroine, mutant or otherwise. Hell, once, when Sabretooth threatened Moria McTaggert, Rhane went from human form to hybrid form and exploded that if he so much as put a hand on her, well, she didn't finish the sentence, but it's pretty clear she was intending to say something real fucking nasty. And Creed, despite being an arrogant, monstrous, sadistic motherfucker who takes great joy in his victims' pain and thinks no one is his superior, was impressed by how vicious Wolfsbane was being and admitted she had more spunk than he gave her credit for, and he was wrong to figure her as some kind of wimp. As if that were not enough, Wolfsbane once even went so far as to lash out at her THERAPIST, and if you can't trust your head shrinker, who can you trust? Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. Between that and a few deplorable stunts she's pulled despite being one of the good guys(such as her attack on Cloak and Dagger and theft of their powers, murdering a Trans-Sabal man, trying to continue a sexual relation with Elixir, someone too young for her and tearing off the wings of Angel before eviscerating X-23), not to mention how she occassionally gloats about winning a fight and sometimes growls at her comrades in a hostile way, I can't help but wonder. Yes, she's a great character, yes, I am a fan of hers and yes, she is good to read about, but do you think there's any chance Wolfsbane is much meaner, tougher, crueller, darker and more vicious than she appears to be most of the time?

Maria Callasantos AKA Feral takes on Wilson Grant Fisk, the Kingpin Of Crime! Here's the scenario: Feral has been ressurrected through complex circumstances, and, deciding to right her wrongs and become a true heroine(albiet a dark one), she manages to fix and redeem herself through a series of events, deeds and weeks after going on a quest to do so. Although she has succeeded, and although past comrades who turned to foes for a time(like Thornn, Wolfsbane, Cable, Siryn and Boom-Boom, for example, though are are quite a few more, obviously)find themselves able to pardon her along with the public, especially since they all acknowledge her mutation and the uncontrollable killer instinct it brought was the cause of most of her problems along with her irresponsible father and piggish lech of a stepfather, Feral has not seen the end of her quest? Why? Because part of her quest for redemption made it so Wilson Grant Fisk, the Kingpin, was badly inconvenienced and had a major gap torn in his criminal empire, without Feral even knowing some of her heroics indirectly led to that. So he wants to pay Feral back...by killing her. As such, he has her sister, Thornn, kidnapped, along with Wolfsbane, and both are held prisoner. Feral hears of this, and it's up to her to save them and defeat Kingpin! She finds him in his underground headquarters, and sees the containment units holding Thornn to the left of him and Wolfsbane to the right. Kingpin informs her of his intents, how the only way to rescue his furry captives is to beat and kill him and how she ripped open part of his empire on her crusade, and Feral replies that she will now finish what she unknowingly started by taking his fat ass down...to hell. It's clear they both mean to murder each other, and the fight begins with bloodlust on for them both. So, will Feral dethrone the Kingpin and put him six feet under, then subsequently rescue her sister and canine counterpart? Or will Kingpin send Feral to the catbed...for good?
