The question I think you are really asking is how will our world in which man is the dominant species will end?
George Carlin for all his comedic Satare pointed out that several thousand of the creatures which have inhabited the earth have become extinct and because of this the fate of man is to go the same way to be phased out by the next dominant species so the world in and of itself will not end, only we will.

Indeed though insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result it is also the abandon of morals and constraints the ability to do without reguard of consequence in short a truly free mind is a dangerous weapon indeed lol
