Speed wins races, it doesn't win fights. There has never been one fight in this forum or comics that someone has actually proven that ( even with speedster it's generally tactics that win out). Bullrushes and Speedblitezs happen so infrequently and they rarely if ever end an encounter unless PIS. As a matter of fact no matter how fast she was in the movie, she still lost, and she was technically faster than Superman in Man of Steel. She lost to a missle which was slower than her. It's a default for people who can't debate a character.
Regardless of how fast she is, she can't hurt him, and Captain Marvel is Faster than her, she is a matter of fact Faster than Light character, and still he was not able to out pace Thanos who threw his weapon faster than she was able to move, to stop her from getting the gantlet to the microverse machine in the van. Thanos is not slow he's just big. He reacted to every energy thrown at him and none of it hit him except Capt's Lightning, and she still beat the crap out of Capt after that. He has way better strength and durability feats over her, and it's highly likely given his feats he will be able to react to her and land several blows to KO her.
Storm wins here rather easily. 2 factors secures her win. Her ability to be completely intuned with nature - this means there would be no place swamp thing could hide from her. Plus with this ability Storm has been shown to be able to communitcate with plant life. Secondly Storm can flash freeze. Pulling from the outer most atmosphere. She has done this countless times no plant life can survive that and she can do it on a massive scale. As she has shown before instantly. Its doubtful that swamp thing could grow inside her body.
Storm would know like she did with the brood and hit herself with enough energy to destroy the growth. But one good lightning bolt should do it.
@emanresu_20: not really... IIRC, the part of the movie where she starts glowing is because of her absorbing energy, enough to turn Binary, and that's why she becomes more and more powerful, and yes, at the end of the movie she is meant to be even more powerful than in the beginning, but the only impressive thing she did after Binary was going FTL in straight line... I'm looking forward to see her power level in Avengers: Endgame tho...
This is incorrect. At no time in the movie did Carol absorb any energy at all. And the other person is correct, this was not her in Binary form nor was that ever hinted at. Carol specifically states. "All this time I have been using my powers with one hand tied behind my back." Which meant she now has access to her regular powers.
Also her whole flight fight sequence both in and out of atmosphere is combat speed. People are confusing "Combat speed" with "Melee or h2h" fighting speed. Carol stomps WW in combat speed, but in Melee , she seems to be Super soldier level. Which also would be able to tag WW, because she's been tagged by WW1 soldiers and fodder in BVS, and fodder in Justice league. Which Batman was able to tag. WW has burst of speed not constant speed.
Lastly, there is nothing special about WW's sword.
This would be a good fight, Tony is the weaklink here. Vision could easily take out his systems Via Phasing. That would means Vision and Strange would be against Thor. I don't really consider lightning to be Vision's weakness. It can temporarily slow him down thats all. He was partially created by Thors lightning, and hindered by shield tech, which if anyone watches the show Agents of Shield. They would know those weapon are made to stop Heroes and Aliens and enhanced humans. Black widow used the same tech on Black Panther in the airport scene to slow black panther, but it did not stop him and he still reached that plane.
So i see Thor stunning Vision temporarily long enough for the Axe to ko him if he can keep Strange off him, which i doubt. Thor is not as strong physically as Thanos.
