Writers don't explore that kind of things nowadays. But back in the day he used fake alias like Frank Rook, Charles Fort and others to purchase stuff like safe houses and other stuff. He financed his war with the criminals money. For the weaponry he got his own weapons dealers and some weapons he collected from criminals he killed.

I guess i have to see how Frank Grillo performs in Purge: Anarchy since every who has seen it says that it's how a Punisher movie should have been done.

This was a fan vote contest, the victory could be for one way or the other. I don't want to be a fan boy (which i am) but i like to think that the Punisher won with all the justice.

Okay Red Hood is better h2h fighter and trained with the better fighters/assassins of DCU but i like to think that the Punisher experience gets the better of Red Hood skills.

This version of Frank might probably have more than 20 years of crime fighting over Jason Todd's, Frank himself is master of many styles of martial arts too, he isn't only a guy with guns like many people call him. He is more than that.

Both actors nailed their characters and was a great fight, the wait for this episode really paid off.

Personally i would like to see these two team up to takeout a common threat but maybe next time.

@madeinbangladesh: It has nothing to do with the Punisher. If you can see it as a new character you can handle it. If not, forget it. But this is my opinion.

This was an amazing week for the Punisher.

Original Sin #4 had a lot of Frank, specially the way he handle Hulk and the dialogue with Rocket Raccoon were my favorite moments.

Thunderbolts #27 was the best issue after #12 (Punisher solo issue). Finally someone make Frank a bit more in-character. Acker and Blacker really did a good job in the Annual and now with this issue. And i believe someone is playing with the team making Frank believe that someone from T-Bolts (Ross) wants him dead. I would guess that Leader could be behind this scheme but maybe there is someone unknown.

Punisher #7 Finally i saw a worthy issue of the Punisher. Kevin Maurer is responsible for this and this is by far the best issue of this series. Very old school vibe and very entertaining. I dug the artwork, it's not as good looking as Gerads initial issues, but they are better than his last issues.

Can't wait for the next issues!

@teerack: Which cover? I don't remember this image being related to any issue.

I'm not digging the current run so far. It's a huge step down in the art and writing from the last Punisher book. It's kind of cute seeing the Punisher wear Hawkeye shirts and "I'm not Daredevil" shirt, but over all the book doesn't have the dark gritty feeling that makes me love the Punisher.

In the current run he only has wear it the Hawkeye shirt. The Daredevil was random artwork by Mitch Gerads. But both of them are way out of character.
