@krisbishop: SHIELD was literarly watching the whole time, and if there were trouble all the othr avengers would have appeared. the only reason they didn't is cause this is a spider-man movie

@krisbishop: The difference is that Maguire is on his own. Holland has all of SHIELD and Avengers so he never has to do anything himself

@darkthunder: i assume it is the problem of characters just never shutting up and making the simplest of explainations into novels

I read 5 issues of this and couldn't handle how mcuh tthe characters were talking and not saying much of interest. Like I read silver age books regularly and it is not a problem wth text,but in the silver age,I felt the characters got tot the point faster so I quit on simmonsons thor for that reason

I liked the older Spider-Man from the 60s with Lee/Romita/Ditko a million times more htan Spencer/Ottley

Am the only one who prefers the old style over the new here? I mean think about it. Amazing Fantasy 15 was 8 pages long right? If it was made today the story would be the beginning to Peter getting the spiderbite and climbing the wall that would be 20 pages. then we would get him doing the show and wrestling match and then it would end at him coming to his own house with the police there nad the last issue would be hunting the killer and the final panel of Great Power with great responsibility. Am I the only one who don't like the style of today? I have read WW Rebirth recently and although it is good. if it was done in the old style that story of for instance Truth would be only 2 issues at most.

Anyone else like the old style better?
