The power of pep talk triumphs once again.

QFT

It still worked for me from an entertainment perspective, but it is on the verge of becoming tired. At least it's not, "Oliver has trust issues," level of repetition yet.

Could it be that CV thinks you are smart enough not to read the article if you haven't seen the episode or are they giving you too much credit?

Well, considering the sacrilegious message of the story, that's kind of sad.

Considering the fact that I own the first thirteen issues of Preacher in good condition, I'm pretty stoked. Looks like issue number one is VF condition is going for about $350. Mine has to be at least that good.

The amount of I don't care I feel is off the charts. Batman V. Superman broke the universe. It's hard for me to see what could happen to make me care about evil Batman and mopey Superman.

Good. Super girl needs to commit to their universe and replace writers and actors. The show has major problems.

I know I should just get over it, but I really miss pre-52 continuity. It makes my heart sad.

Must be time for the annual, "Kill the black guy," episode.

Im so hyped for this, and can not wait to see it. Especially due to the fact conroy and hamill come back and do the voices. Bruce timm on this is also a big plus.

Actually, ever since I heard Troy Baker voice that monologue from Killling Joke, I kind of prefer his Joker voice.

What a waste of time, who asked for this movie? who needs it? seems like a stubborn passion project, seriously an R rated cartoon now? maybe they should spend their efforts making something actually appealing to kids that actually expands their brand and fanbase as opposed to cartoons for dumbass adults who want to see a girl shot and undressed(otherwise there's no need for R rating) based on an overrated story like TKJ that almost everyone has heard of and whose own author has dismissed it. Nolan perfect it's theme in TDK without resorting to all the lows in the comic.

I can just read my goddamn copy of the story instead of spending money on a panel for panel adaptation, beyond shock value there's nothing in this story.

Gail Simone fan?

I'm glad to hear of the creative team's commitment to the nature of the source material but is a hard R rating necessary? It's not as gory or dare I say it as shocking as some of the stuff DC have released, even in terms of animation. One can say that means it's going to be even more shocking than Gods and Monsters but narrowing the audience for an animated direct to DVD movie is risky. Still, all the more reason for me to actually buy The Killing Joke rather than watch it online.

Thank you! I heard this story a couple days ago, and all I've been able to think ever since then is, "Why?" What about The Killing Joke deserves an R rating? I can't think of a single thing that's outside PG-13 range, and it shouldn't even be a hard PG-13.
