Eh, I'm never really a fan of the whole casual clothes as a costume thing but it could look a lot worse I guess. I'm more interested in the accompanying story than the look honestly. Supes has been around for 75 years there's very little we haven't seen him do, I miss the cape but I'm more excited that this seems to be something genuinely new
I may hate AVX but this is the only Secret Wars series so far that I'm guaranteed to buy. AVX may have been awful but A-babies vs X-babies was a delight and I'm hoping this will be too
@superior_prime_maybe: Agreed on WWH. The first three issues were just kind of a great big fight, which honestly I kind of enjoyed on a dumb fun level even if I'm not sure it was worth the money. Now that the fighting is over the first part didn't give us much indication on how the rest of the story will go or if it will be better now that more than just punching is going on
@superior_prime_maybe: Because there's an in story reason for it this time as opposed to it just being lazy overly convenient writing like it usually is in events.

I love the way you came to terms with that in the space of 5 minutes and 3 posts. But yeah, it's not surprising for Greek mythology. Still pretty cool to see in a comic though. Never would've thought they'd have the guts to do it what with all the weird, controversial conclusions that could be drawn.
After it sunk in that we were talking about Zeus I realized that this really probably isn't in the top 10 most messed up things he's done so it was really easy to get over.
