@jb681131: So @dr_cheesesteak has it pretty much right!

I've been meaning to update it, I just decided to wait for a couple more TPB's and graphic novels to be published first. And would gladly update it within the coming week or two!

But that is exactly why

1. there isn't much Post-Flashpoint work on there.

2. I only included out of continuity tales that were close enough to seem like it was in continuity minus a detail or two. However with convergence (which I have yet to read, and let me know if I am wrong). I might have a spot in the timeline to include all elseworlds tales. It's the same reason why I don't have any tie in comics to games or shows (unless it could fit in somewhere in the current timeline)

4. I didn't include any pre-crisis collections for many reasons. First, I haven't read most of it so I wouldn't know how to accurately place it in the continuity. Second, Crisis was such a defining moment in comic book history & the DC Universe that to me, it was ok to start around that time. Third, Batman as a character really blossomed as a character (for me) when first written by Neil Gaiman and Dennis O'Neil. And last but not least (and I doubt anyone has noticed), I tried not include any comic that has Batman using a gun as if its totally normal, which some of the very first Batman comics had before DC even knew what they wanted to make of Batman.

But otherwise, I love the feedback and glad you liked this list :)

@opis34: So to keep it short on why I think it's impossible for a character like Superman to be good. Here is a long old blog post I posted when I noticed all the evil Supermen out there.

I love this, and I most definitely see him as a "god" like figure. I'm going to say this with total honesty, (in my well thought out opinon) it is impossible for a man that powerful to be good. If any of you want, I can elaborate (but I will spare you the rant if no one is interested)

These threads have been popping up a lot recently.

MY hunch is that its gotta do with a movie called Batman v Superman...actually, nvm that can't be it.

And there are gonna be a whole lot more between now and 2016...groan!

Superman fans do seem infactuated about Batman...not sure Batman fans have the same problems with Superman.

It's cause Batman fans are also infatuated with Batman :-P

@batshrine: By being a fan of Batman. You don't have to like the same people he likes to be a fan, or even have the same opinions. Most Batman fans love The Joker, but Batman dreams of killing him most of the time.

You misunderstand me, as a Batman fan I don't like who Batman likes, but the characters that are part of the Bat Family, or characters who are Batman characters, which is how I can like Batman enemies and allies alike...allies like, Superman per chance.

Because he stuffs.

Realistically though, it's just to make him look like he can hang with the rest of the team. It's one thing they tend to go overboard with, but you know the DC motto.

"Whatever makes Batman look good."

And Frank Miller and Fan Boys motto.

"Whatever makes Batman look good and Superman look bad."

Naw, I'm a hardcore Bat Fan that says Batman always wins. But as a hardcore fan I also understand that Superman is Batman's best friend. So by not supporting Superman, I am not supporting my favorite character's bestie. And if that wass the case, how could I really call myself a Bat Fan?

You gotta give people a bit more to talk about when you start these threads! Cause the best we can do is say yes I agree (which I do) or say no (which is rare since Batman is already OP, which is a good thing in my book).

I totally missed the song when I first watched it!!!! I see they took a leaf from Inception, that is brilliant!
