Shit thread tbh
Also what makes you think the quote is in reference to their force power, when the game is military strategy based? There are quite a few nebulous elements to play with in this quote, wether it even exists in the old canon.
I was about to type. Ties to lucas licensing isn't lucas licensing itself.
I'm inclined to agree with @Beniboybling on this one. I had no Idea the wizards of the coast website counted as C-cannon just because it promotes Lucas film products. Care to verify this?
In any case, I don't take everything in C-canon as an undisputed fact. That is the domain of idiots. The only facts occur in the films or in the stories themselves and every thing else might as well be an interpretation of said events. I apply that reasoning to this blog, C-canon or not, as well as outdated sourcebooks and lol, novel blurbs. There has never been a hegemony in Star Wars writing, nor a council of elders that decide upon hierarchies and power grids. Everything discussed here is subjective, as is the nature of fiction.
The website looks like a blog, akin to some of the entries found on SW.com. Not something that came along with the miniature figures. So I don't trust it.
