Ken Lopez  is a writer for DC  of Mexican descent.
Ed and Mariah Benes are artists for Marvel and DC and some others.  They are Brazilian.
Joe Quesada  Marvel editor, formerly editor-in-chief.  I believe he's of Cuban descent.
I'm sure there are lots more.  I believe there's a list of artist, writers, creators, etc... on here and they should all have their own pages.  hope this helps.

@Dawningred:
I don't know about that specific instance.  I know when the FF, X-men, Avengers, and Namor teamed up to beat him, which is one of his only actual defeats, they imprisoned him at the Earth's core supposedly to nullify his powers by putting him at the exact center of the magnetic field, but as soon as there was the slightest flux he broke out.  I'll say that again.  He broke out of the Earth's core.  And when he did, no amount of heat, pressure, or billions of tons of rock and magma were even remotely an impediment.  And he has been at the center of nuclear explosions and had many many atmospheric exits and entries, so heat is not a problem no matter how much Johnny throws at him.  Reed and Ben are also non-issues.  This really is just Sue vs Magneto.  And Mags wins that either through superior endurance, superior skill, superior intellect (over Sue, not Reed), or simple BFR.

Nice list.
I'd include Ray Palmer and Luthor as well.  I don't know why everybody's hacking on Lex.  Dude invented armor that lets him match Supes, has financial skills to humble the entirety of Wayne Enterprise's financial wizards, and he cured cancer in a kitchen with basic household chemicals. As an aside, I don't think that Kryptonians are any more intelligent, in spite of their technology level.  I think that when they're on Earth they appear to be geniuses because they become capable of thinking at super speeds.  They have to do all the "trial and error" problem solving most people do, they are just able to do it in a fraction of a second.  Which means technically,  they are of average intellect.  Just my own theory.

@capall2:
Jaimie has led multiple teams with a fair amount of success.  He also has sent dupes all over the world to learn everything he can.  When he reabsorbs those dupes, he gains all their memories and abilities.  Consequently, he is an expert in almost everything, including tactics and martial arts.  One on one he is probably nearly a match for DD even in martial arts skills.  With an army of dupes, I believe he can create upwards of a thousand of them now, he could easily handle DD. Especially in light of the fact that every time DD hits him it will create another dupe.  In the same token, Bullseye could probably anticipate Kurt's 'porting and tag him coming out of a 'port.  Now that I've made a case for team 2, I should mention that I think team 1 takes this as long as they can avoid the match-up I presented, which they should both be smart enough to do.  DD has proven that he can handle Bullseye, and Kurt should be able to either 'port blitz Jamie and his 40 initial dupes for a quick ko, or bfr them.  In his own series, Kurt was able to empty a train full of passengers in a few seconds, and was even able to 'port to limbo with passengers without too much undue stress.

@Rage.Of.Olympus:
Magneto has beaten the entire Avengers roster including Thor.  After the second time, the Avengers, X-men, and FF all teamed up in order to beat him.  That's when they ended up imprisoning him at the Earth's core.
I'll give you Hela's curse, but Mags was also at one of his weakest points during that scan, and it isn't just Thor, it's She-hulk as well.  His shields have held against full strength hits from Thor, Hercules, Hulk, She-hulk, Colossus, etc...  They've also held against Phoenix and Galactus.  His shields should have no trouble with Thor's physical force.
Lightning and cold, which are Thor's bread and butter for weather attacks, both increase Magneto's powers.  That's why he has such an easy time with Storm and Iceman.  I can probably find you scans that show it if you like.
Mags can boost his strength and durability to match 100 class characters.  He's taken unshielded hits from Colossus, and Thing and had no ill effects.  You may be right about using magnetism to do it in the scan, but it's equally possible that it's just strength.  Generally if it's any kind of magnetic application they show lines of force or something to emphasize it, hence the reason I believe it's just boosted strength.
To be fair, I was exaggerating a bit.   He and the Avengers go back and forth for a few pages until he convinces Cap of his intentions, then they all calm Herc down and join forces.  But he does take pretty much everything they can dish out, including some more shots from Herc and some heavy blasts from Photon, and he never seems to be  in any danger.
I should also clarify, that I think under normal conditions, current level Thor would beat Mags.  But with the limitations imposed on him here, I don't see it.

Everybody seems to forget that Mags has already beaten Thor ,plus the rest of the Avengers, a half dozen times.  Thor has had an upgrade, but he's limited in this fight, while Mags is at his all time  best.  Thor's attacks here will be physical, which Mags has already shown that he can easily handle, and lightning storm, which just makes Magneto even more powerful.  Mags has also shown the ability to force his will on Lorna and use her powers, to a greater extent than she ever has I might add.  Consequently, Magneto should solo this.  The third scan doesn't have Thor, but it does show Mags physically overpowering Hercules which should imply that he can also match Thor for strength.  He subsequently stomped the assembled Avengers, and if you do a quick roll call you'll notice that along with Herc, they have Photon, Namor, and Sersi.  I'll repeat.  Magneto can solo this fight.

  @charlieboy:
 Kitty can phase in space for short periods, usually while wearing special insulated uniforms, but she's still not immune to extreme temperatures.  Space is very cold, but not absolute zero, and she was nearly killed by heat when garokk broke open a pyroklastic flow in Antarctica.  And while I agree that Kitty is significantly more intelligent than Bobby, she is well behind him in experience.  All it takes is for something to break her concentration and she's solid again,  which again, shouldn't be necessary since she still has a molecular structure he can manipulate even while phased. However, anything short of simultaneously dispersing not only his atomic structure, but also his astral form isn't going to harm him at all.  He exists as sentient water now.  This means that he can harm her , she can't harm him.

When Kitty phases and becomes "insubstantial", she is just decreasing her molecular density which allows her to slide her molecules ,and molecules of things and people she touches, between the molecules of other things.  The point is that she still has molecules, and they're mostly water molecules.  Bobby should be able to affect her as easily as anything else, while she can't do much in return.  Even if he were somehow unable to directly affect her molecular structure, he can lower the area around her to absolute zero, and that should do it.  When phasing, Kitty is more resistant to temperature extremes, but not immune.  Absolute zero temperature means that all molecular activity ceases.  That makes for a dead Kitty.
