Mother: Akua (Healthy old woman. Water bending isn't used much. Can fight if need be but would probably die from it.)

Job: Farmer/crafstman/hunter. Wants to be guardian but doesn't tell.
Abilities/talents/stuff:
Water bending: Asim is a talented water bender. Although not extremely powerful he is an excellent learner and his imagination and understanding allows him to imitate many tenchiques and make new ones. He finds particular joy in faking having other bending abilities, especially air bending.
Double spear: He has a staff with two six inch long spear heads on each end. It is a somewhat self made weapon but is very well made and by combining his bending with the spear it becomes a deadly combo.
Water satchels: He possess quite a few packets of water for his own use.
Bending tricks (excluding normal ones or recently thought up):
Healing, by manipulation of molecules inside a person he can potentionally heal their wounds faster as well as extract bad things from inside them.
Illusions:
By manipulating water he can reflect light in a certain way to create distortions. However he is still learning this trick so his best move is making something seem to disappear. Although a very perceptive person would catch it. He also sometimes uses this to make it appear his has lightning bending. But once again a very perceptive person could tell the distance.
Ice bending
His ice bending comes in very handy for food and apparently, for him, healing and rejuvenation. He says it is refreshing, calming, and exciting at the same time, when he encloses himself in it. He often uses this to create random tools and whatnot or fix/harden things temporarily.
Flight:
Not something normally thought about when thinking of a water bender. He has used his abilities to use the water he carries with him to lift himself off the ground. He can use this on others and does it by creating a thin lair enought to support but not enough to be easily noticeable. Downside, he needs water and rarely uses it except for tricks and short transportation. He wanted to learn bloodbending on himself so he didn't need water but many have been punished for doing so.
