I always wanted to do an Arkham style RP with Abby involving enemies and allies (but especially enemies) she had something with like Charlemagne, Ivana, Amaranth (those two still never even met, which is both sad and hilariously baffling under the circumstances), Satar, Ezra, Dog, Iron Phantom, etc.

This was always both unlikely, and also the favoured idea I had to ever potentially kill her off.

Well, it'd still be pretty bad on multiple levels. And advertising it as "Kevin's last performance" for marketing (until the negative press started to come in, at which point they backpedalled to "his last video game performance") was always gonna hurt them. Among other things.

It's like they didn't learn from the Avengers game.

@x-rey: Predictable, and mostly pretty unremarkable. But fun, because of the folks I watched it with. And all the right things happened. (I actually wanted Damage CTRL to win the women's War Games match, but I saw which way they were going with it because Bayley was doing some real MVP shit for her team, and I suspect they're gonna use it to turn on her {or they might string it a bit longer, but this feels like the point for it}. And in that way, I enjoyed that too. Plus the match itself was fun.)

Even the bit with Rhea coming to cash in, someone (not me) predicted. And I popped so hard for Randal Keith, my night was made when he showed up. We were all geeking over it. The knowledge of all the history and intertwining legacies (pun intended) that night was also neat.

And Seth's reaction to Punk was hilarious. So bonus points for that, work or shoot.

Most of the PPV was supremely predictable. But the last match is a great example of how to pull one off.

And we have tension, at least in some form.

Sometimes I still miss the rap battles thread.

I miss the lawless era.
