Abilities
Argus, in truth, has no superhuman abilities at all.
Hacking and Computer Expertise:
Defined as the ability to illegally or otherwise, access a network. This has a wide variety of applications, as one can imagine, as basically, anything on a network can be hacked. Most no encryption is entirely safe, not even quantum encryption. However, it is neither and instantaneous, magical or unable to be countered.
One just actually has to knowledge of how hacking works, and to not get what they know about hacking from perception of popular media. He cannot do things like "hack" a gun because most guns do not have wireless electronics and certain electronics need a physical connection to actually be hacked, and so on and so forth.
He can do much of this from his highly modified smartphone that he uses for various tasks and as a trigger for various programs.
Anonymity:
Being generally unknown and non-existent, this is what he argues to be one of his most valuable tools. He simply hides in plain sight, being unable to efficiently find or track, being that he leaves no traces, does not wish to take credit for anything or to become more than what he is.
His skill in firearms and hand to hand is "icing on the cake" one could say, as he prefers not to, and rarely has to use it because he does not seek out physical encounters and opts to only evade one at all costs, preferring to simply stick to the shadows to avoid conflict.
Physical condition:
He isn't a peak human, but is great shape and running condition, able to run for extended periods of time and bench press a little 1 1/2 times his own body weight.
Hand to Hand and Close Quarters:
He is a skilled hand to hand combatant, though he usually opts to stay out of physical confrontation. He incorporates a variety of styles mixed into his own, with a few years of martial arts experience. However, he does not have any supernatural powers and is by no means, the world's greatest martial artist. He is pragmatic and skilled with both lethal and non-lethal take downs, as well as skill with numerous types of improvised weapons, particularly blunt weapons such as batons and staffs.
Krav Maga
It is Israel’s national martial art, developed largely by Imi Lichtenfeld, and dedicated to no-holds-barred incapacitation for the purpose of street survival. No quarter is expected or given.
It incorporates Western boxing punches, Karate kicks and knees, Greco-Roman wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu ground fighting, Jiu-jitsu throws and grappling, and most importantly, “bursting,” adapted from Wing Chun. This is a simultaneous defense/attack: instead of blocking an attack and then delivering a response, you block the attack and deliver a response at the same time, i. e., block with the left arm and push forward with the legs, striking with the right fist to the throat, all simultaneously.
Also stressed are attacks to vulnerable body parts: the eyes, throat, and groin. Attackers can expect testicular ruptures. Emphasis is also placed on disarming attackers with both knives and handguns, and turning these weapons on the attacker. It also exclusively trains hand-eye coordination, until defense becomes second nature and does not require thought. And a good Krav Maga instructor can teach all of this to anyone, regardless of athletic prowess, in only 3 to 6 months.
Keysi Method
The Keysi Method has almost no kicks of any kind. It thrives on extreme close-quarters combat using every weapon the body can quickly wield in such a small space: fists, head, knees, and especially the elbows.
There is only one stance to know, and when you see it one time, you can do it: “the thinking man,” with the hands clasped on the head, and the elbows raised to protect the head, neck and upper chest. It looks like a man holding his head while deep in thought.
It is designed to strike with the sharp elbows, and lots of hammer fists, which are MUCH more powerful and devastating than straight punches, because they employ the entire upper body in bringing the firm, outside muscle, from the root of the little finger to the wrist, down like a hammer against the target.
This is a hybrid style, using elements of grappling from Jiu-jitsu and Aikido, ground fighting from Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, close strikes and centerline defense from Wing Chun, and trapping from Jeet Kune Do. The Keysi Method teaches its practitioners to defend themselves against any number of attackers, 5, 10, 20 and even more, with a 360 degree range of aggression, and to observe all objects in the vicinity for their potential as weapons.
Firearms and explosives:
He is a great shot and is familiar with most all manner of firearms, aside from sniper rifles. He primarily uses handguns, assault rifles, shotguns and even heavy ordinance.
Parkour:
He is an efficient parkour practitioner and freerunner, able to practically vault over and surmount obstacles if necessary. Though he prefers to not be discovered so as to not run the danger of trying to run away from someone who would be difficult or impossible to escape.
The Enclave and Connections:
Argus is affiliated with a loosely connected Amorphous group, suspected to be a subsect of anonymous referred to as "The Enclave." Through this group, Argus has shown to have an unknown amount of people whom contribute to circulation, distribution and storage of information through a variety of means.
Accessing said information is difficult to accomplish, because of the measures they take to prevent wireless hacking or unauthorized hacking, often through private peer to peer networks and forums that cannot be accessed by users simply because of it's lack of means to actually access it.
Otherwise, more accessible networks they do use, such as the DarkNet or Deep web (google it) cannot be accessed through normal means. Though they do at times, have public forums on social media and various accounts used to distribute information or interact with a user, all which is rendered untraceable through the careful use of various web based proxies.
They have access to a wide variety of resources in the real world due to the rather large amounts of money they have "acquired" over an extended period of time through various means. They have access to acquire illegal items (or the means to create said itms) sold on the darknet and Argus himself seems to be able to acquire most any conventional, man portable weapon, including high explosives.
Other equipment accessible here are devices that allow things that classically cannot be hacked (like a car) to be hacked. These bugs are physically being placed on an object, which then places it on a network and enables it to be controlled remotely. Such devices can be implanted on theoretically an electronic device, even if it is not normally on a network. Through the use of the enclave, he often does not have to be the one to plant these devices though he can.
The enclave also provides him with the ability to access individuals who have skills that he himself does not have, since that Argus is only human and can only feasibly learn and know so much, he doesn't need to because he readily has others to help him.
Argus and the Enclave by themselves, have no access to advanced technology or unconventional resources by themselves, and any such technology or aid comes from sources outside of the sect, currently.
