It sounds like a good idea at first, but then again, "Big Brother" did something similar to this. I feel like Congress is going to take advantage of this like how their trying to ban TikTok. I don't care for TikTok but using the excuse of China being able to access U.S citizen information is a dumb reason. What about Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Ect. ? Why just ban TikTok?(obviously because some invested in Meta). Hell, it's not like the U.S government keeps Citizens information safe, They likely sell information anyway. I heard they're going for Sony next. Majority of Congress has trades in Microsoft and with the "Console wars" going on right now, they most likely going to take advantage of it (obviously Congress shouldn't be putting they hand into this, they should leave it to the Courts to make judgement). Sooner or later they going to censor everything to only American Communications which would result into American Propaganda. Congress needs to slow their role.

@takenstew22: Is the information I stated important? Not really because anything under 18 is a no-no but it's just a fun fact I'd thought I'd share. I didn't know this myself but I heard a comedian explain it (obviously as a joke.) and thought it was hilarious, but I would say it's defending anyone, just correcting the misuse of the word. Defending is more like saying my they didn't do anything wrong which was not said. No. It's kinda hard to explain the difference without sounding like a pedophile (punchline 🤣), but thanks to a comedian who risked it all to explain the difference between pedophile (attracted to 11 and under), hebephile (attracted to 11-14), and ephebophile (attracted to 15-17), I can say that Roshi was an ephebophile, not a pedo.
