I’m sure Thor will be cool AF in Love and Thunder, but I really want to see more of his weather manipulation beyond just lightning! Like using tornados, rain, hail, fog, blizzards, etc. I don’t want to see him get a massive amp just so I can internet debates with strangers on who he can beat. His power set hasn’t been displayed to nearly his full potential. Please give us some more variety than superhuman stats, lightning, and flight. Currently he’s just Shazam with an axe. Give us the god of storms!

Boros could annihilate the entire MCU Norse pantheon for kicks.

Jormungandr is massively bigger than any of his opponents, and deceptively fast. He clears with ease.

I shouldn't have to say who wins. This should be locked for mismatch.

Korosensei starts disassembling Vision before realizing he's a pretty interesting dude, then proceeds to have a nice chat.

Snyder's Justice League may change things up, but so far neither really have a win condition. Iron Man can't hit Flash and Flash can't damage Iron Man. Iron Man could just avoid any hits from Flash by just flying where Flash can't reach him either.

I actually think Vision would win the majority of the time.

  • Captain Marvel has much greater strength and power output, but I don't think it's enough to overcome Vision's extremely high durability as a vibranium being quickly.
  • Carol may have FTL travel speed but she's never demonstrated exceptional combat speed. Vision is faster than her in that regard.
  • Vision's phasing is simply busted, both for defense and offense.
    • Vision is fast enough to react and phase through Carol's offense, but even if her attacks land, I don't think Carol has the strength or power to significantly damage Vision before he phases.
    • Offensively, Vision's phasing basically nullifies her durability. Vision has demonstrated multiple times how devastating his phasing is offensively, so I don't think I need to go into detail.

Carol's only means of winning is dealing enough damage to kill Vision. Even if Vision didn't phase I believe it would still take a long while to do, and phasing vastly increases the time needed for her to do that. Vision doesn't have the output to put down Carol conventionally (fisticuffs), so his win condition is offensive phasing. With combat speed equal or superior to Carol's, he will have many opportunities to finish the job.

In my opinion current Vision is a hard counter to nearly every brick character (Hulk, Kurse, Captain Marvel, maybe even Thanos) in the MCU due to his phasing. Raw strength and power doesn't matter when being hit is just an option for you. The only MCU brick I can think of who stands a chance against current Vision is Thor due to his electrical powers, since Hawkeye's electrical trap seemed to prevent him from phasing.

Phasing would be a huge pain to work around, they’re both crazy durable and their power and speed displayed in the WANDAVISION finale puts them much closer to DCEU Kryptonians. Phasing is just OP.

I actually think Doctor Strange would win.

Agatha's draining power seems to suck life force and magical ability from a magic wielder, but I'm not certain that Doctor Strange's power can be drained because he doesn't have natural magical power, but draws it from other dimensions, as explained by the Ancient One.

"We harness energy drawn from other dimensions of the multiverse to cast spells, to conjure shields and weapons, to make magic."

Wanda's magical ability seems to come from within her, as Agatha said she was a fledgling witch when she cast the probability hex on the Stark bomb as a child, hence why Agatha could drain Wanda of her power. I might be forgetting something, but technically anyone could learn the kind of magic Masters of the Mystic Arts wield. Witchcraft and sorcery may be two different schools of magic in the MCU.

It's just a theory, but I think there's plenty of evidence to suggest that Agatha can't absorb the magic Dr. Strange wields. And since there's no specific win condition, Strange could just BFR her to the mirror dimension.
