@lucascosta: there hasn't been any real confirmation either way. Also, even if there is a difference, why would that matter? That still wouldn't mean Gojo would suddenly think that the attack could bypass infinity.

This is....I'm actually kinda crying? It's like Stan Lee all over again. Dragon Ball has always been a huge part of my life. I'm seriously at a loss for words.

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.

I blame comic-tiktokers specifically. They've added a whole new level of brain rot to this form of debating.

We've been told that he can use a binding vow instead of the chants and hand signs. Seems like that's what was used. We don't know what he sacrificed for it yet tho.

Gojo had just landed a big purple on Sukuna, restored his output, was operating at 120% because of that black flash and destroyed what he thought was Sukuna's main offense against Infinity. Even the students and sorcerers watching that fight thought Gojo had won. That's the kind of scenario that leads to people being cocky and getting caught off-guard.

He had no reason to believe Sukuna's dismantle had the capacity to cut through infinity. All the people obsessing over the "sparks" and coping with "Mahoraga used it on him before" are ignoring that Sukuna just used Maho's attack as a blueprint. He didn't change the nature of the CT itself to match Maho, he just the target. There's no reason to believe that causes changes to how the CT would look from Gojo's POV.

@applekidthethird: Maho in shinjuku is stronger it took everything for Sukuna to take him down Maho now adapted and refreshed in shinjuku he’s even given Gojo a good fight

It's entirely based on the context of what was happening. Sukuna didn't know what Maho's abilities were and so he wasn't going all out at the start of the fight, which gave it time to adapt, making it harder to kill. Maho's entire shtick is adapting and it was adapting to Gojo through Sukuna even before coming out to fight him. This gave him more resistance to Gojo's attack and kept it in the fight longer. But even then, Sukuna had to protect it from Gojo.

We don't know if the adaptions carry over after Maho's summoning gets undone. With how hard Sukuna was trying not to let domain amplification get rid of the wheel, seems like the adaptions don't carry over. This would give 15 finger Sukuna the ability to use DE and kill Maho.

Is it even possible to surpass this stupid cat? Are Toriyama and Toyotarou aware of how annoying these contradictions are? Would they give a crap if they knew?

Who the hell knows at this point. After all of this, I don't think Goku's gonna pass Beerus in power unless there's a whole arc dedicated to it. And even then, we'll probably get a contradiction eventually.

People are forgetting that you can only use one technique at a time. If he has the shikigami, he doesn't get to use limitless. If he has limitless on, he doesn't get the shikigami.

there were times in the fight when limitless was deactivated and Gojo was still holding his own if i remember correctly?

You talking about inside Sukuna's domain after the first clash? That wasn't really him holding his own, it was just him surviving and buying himself time until his technique recovered. And it would be different outside of the domain, if he chose to deactivate limitless to use ten shadows, that is. If he doesn't, Sukuna eventually wins the domain clashes, like he was going to without trying to adapt Maho.

Sukuna not needing to adapt Maho changes everything. Now, if he wins the domain clashes, he can use both cleave and dismantle, which would be harder to survive for Gojo.

Gojo has a pretty decent chance to win tho, Sukuna in Megumi's body is not really that impressive. If he was in his OG body tho......
